That's ancient technology. The other car wash I used before Montgomery County used eminent domain to take it away had drivers get out while staff ran it through the big wash. But I didn't even make it that far. The machine broke when I pulled my car up to it. The elderly man working by himself asked me to back up while he started trying to fix it. He gave me no indication of how long it would take. When I kept asking, he completely ignored me. No response. When I told him I would back up to get out of there and he could give me a refund, I got no response. Maybe he didn't hear me. I repeated myself. He said he could get it fixed soon. He pulled out a crowbar to work on it -- then had to ask the man cutting the grass in front of the car wash to help him twist it. So now I'm reliant on a cigar-smoking grass cutter blowing smoke in my face to fix the machine? No way. I backed away and demanded a refund. The man wasn't pleased. What a nightmare. I had heard from a few people that was a bad car wash but it was right by my Mazda dealership so why not give it a shot. I should have listened.
