They are very honest and did great work. My wife was in from out of town and had an intermittent starting problem They took her right in. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it while she waited. All the while showing her the faulty parts and explaining it to her as they fixed it. I appreciate their speed and honesty. Will recommend to everyone I know. Thanks for the help!! read more

My Honda CRV needed front & rear break pads & rotors. I called many places in Annapolis. Most of the places didn't have appointments or quoted me for very high prices. When I called in the conversation over the phone very simple. Quick price quote. No hassle about dropping off the car. It was a very easy process. They know what they do & price was very reasonable. All the reviews I saw for this business are for real. We are in a bad economy but ripping others off is not a solution. I am totally happy that I found this place. As they promised service requested was done on time. Please check with this business for your vehicle needs before you check elsewhere. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this place for your vehicle needs. read more

Zepeda Auto Repair - Business card. - Auto Repair Near Me - Annapolis, Maryland

I cannot recommend these guys enough! Elmer and his team have always been extremely helpful with all of our vehicles. They don't hesitate to take a look when we bring them an issue and they explain what they're doing and what they're looking at every time. Great service, great customer support and good people. Thank you, ZEPEDA.! read more

Very helpful pristine work overall a very enjoyable experience would highly recommend

Trust Elmer Zepeda. He will accurately diagnose any problem, show you what needs to be done, and fix it right the first time. I like to hold on to cars and keep them going - Zepeda Auto has made it easy! read more

I took my car in because it has a control start malfunction it still has the same problem they fixed nothing !! Car still doing the same shit they said the valve they put in would stop the problem and my car still stood out of nowhere and my check engine light still comes on they were no help feel like I paid $300 for nothing because my car is doing the same stuff they did a diagnostic and did not fix the problem read more

Elmer is owner and provides honest, quality service! Typically has vehicle ready same day as brought in

I have an MR2 Spyder as a fun car for nice days that I've started to take to Zepeda. I asked them to do a full 60k service, which is replacing almost everything that can be replaced, and checking everything else. They also charged the AC system. The price was very reasonable and they had it back to me the same day. I've been happy with other work that they've done as well (oil changes, brakes). read more

I called in about getting a 60k service done for my car, and from the very start on the phone, could tell that Elmer, the owner was very honest and upfront! He told me it was mostly just visual checks, but I brought it in, and they had it ready to pick up 4 hours later. Because I had just done my oil basically the whole service was just visual. They looked over the car, and even took a picture and showed me a part of the car that needed replacing (a trailing arm). Of course, this won't happen for everyone, but when I tried to pay, Elmer told me not to worry, that I didn't need to, even after I tried insisting. Super kind and honest shop! read more

This is weird to say that the shop didn't fix my car but I like this place and would take my car there when needed. Well, my heard my 2009 Miata making weird noise when it goes over a large bump at above 30 MPH. The noise is very hard to duplicate. I thought that some bushings may be bad. So I asked them to check for me. They test drove it and then put it on a lift. They found nothing. They showed me where I should look and where noises would come from, if the bushings were bad. Everything looked like new. With only 41K miles, my car looks clean and new under the carriage. I drove 11K miles in the past 7 months on bad Maryland roads. Well, it's a small car with rough suspension. By the way, don't buy a Miata if you can afford a more luxury car. Anyway, the shop was able to do all that without a crazy long appointment and also refused to let me pay for their time to test drive, put the car on the lift and show me under the car to proof that no bushings were bad. I'm a fan of this place. Thanks Elmer and Juan! read more

2012 Ford Explorer with A/C Compressor clutch destroyed. Met With Elmer Zepeda so he could quickly examine and scope the repair job. We agreed on an approach to repair. The Auto Repair industry is full of those that place profit first and customer last. In complete contrast, Elmer is a rare exception and sincerely wants to keep his customer informed and happy. I highly recommend Zepeda Auto Repair, LLC as an excellent place to get quality and cost effective service. Thank your Elmer for your professionalism and quality of work Peter C read more

This place is great! Called them around 8:45am on a Saturday to explain the problem. Dropped car off around 9:30am. They diagnosed it and called us quickly. They called me at 11:30am to say car was fixed. read more

Elmer couldn't find anything wrong with the van so he didn't charge me. I'm a customer for life.

Zepeda along with Weller's Automotive are excellent. My car suddenly started shifting into neutral every time it got up to highway speeds as I drove from DC to the eastern shore so I limped into Annapolis. It was Sunday and everything was closed except, fortunately, the Enterprise. I rented a replacement car and left my car at Zepeda. Monday morning Elmer called having already run the codes on the car - the transmission issue didn't make sense and he recommended Weller's automotive in the same space. Jeff Weller was just great. He took the fact that the car was misbehaving but there was nothing relevant showing up in the codes as an interesting challenge - 5+ stars for friendly, cooperative, knowledgeable, professional service! read more

Had some work done here over the summer. Reasonable prices, lightning fast QUALITY work. Elmer is the best!!

My front brakes were in need of repairs and I scheduled an appointment and Jeff was able to complete that day! They had great prices and I was clearly a novice in car knowledge and I did not feel ripped off nor taken advantage of in repairs needed/price. Their customer service and employees are great and I found my new repair shop! read more

Elmer keeps my tank on the road--economically, with fair prices and honest assessments. He maintains several business fleets in the area and has a loyal following. He's basically a one man shop, small but he does have three bays and one lift. Open 6 days a week with long hours, and even on Saturday. He tries to accommodate everyone on their time schedule. He prefers to stick with basic maintenance and repairs--oil changes, brakes, coolant services, tires, etc.--instead of jobs that will be intensively time consuming (overhauling an engine, replacing a transmission). But he's been known to do so for good customers with the understanding that he's doing all the work himself and time permitting. The fact that he doesn't play the games that many repair shops do to jack up the bill makes me happy. As a female, service shops always want to play that shadow box thing and I hate it. No, I'm not a mechanic but my father loves cars and I'd sit for hours as a kid with him when he worked on his various hobby cars. I do know a thing or two. When one of the quickie service centers tried that show-and-sell thing showing me a filthy air filter telling me that I should change it, I asked them what Chevy did you pluck that out of because it doesn't go with my tank! Thanks Elmer, for answering questions honestly and doing what you can to keep Gertrude, "the tank" on the road and purring. read more

Great service, great work! Got my old truck 2nd gen Dodge Ram running like new. Thanks Elmer

I took my car in because it was making a strange sound when it started and sat at idle before the car fully warmed up. On the day I took my car in, it didn't make any strange noises. Elmer gave me peace of mind that he checked the belts and the fluids seemed okay. As per another review I saw somewhere else, he took the time to show me the belts and what he checked for under the hood. I will definitely be bringing my car back as my experience seems to match what others have said about their honesty and willingness to show others what they did. I have only been in MD 4 months, and I was worried about finding a good place to take my car in for repairs. I had a really good experience with the Toyota dealer in Fredericksburg, VA, but I wasn't going to make a 3 hour round trip if I didn't have to. It is really refreshing to find a good auto repair shop close to where I live. read more

Couldn't ask for a better mechanic. Highly recommend!

Arguably the best shop in the STATE!!! The owner "Elmer" is a VERY fair and hnest person. Always does the right thing and give the fairest price. Even if he has to send you elsewhere, which is RARE, he will tell you what to expect $$ so you are not taken advantage of. AMAZING BUSINESS read more

This is best shop in Maryland! I had some issues with my car and the dealer was charging me over $2,000 to fix it. I brought my car to Elmer and he fixed for about less than $500. He showed me what was wrong with the car and the "parts" that actually needed to be fixed. Elmer is the best! Highly recommended! read more

Elmer is a great guy, always with a great attitude,a profesional, excellent prices, very reasonable. I have always be treated as a friend not a customer. The best mechanic shop in Annapolis area .. thank you.. read more

My daughter recently was hired at Naval Academy and needed and auto repair. Having no history of the area we were very concerned about getting ripped-off. Not only were we NOT ripped-off but treated fairly, quickly, friendly and and very reasonably priced. Thanks Zepeda, as a Dad it goods to know not everyone is out to take advantage of people. We are new customers for live! read more

I have been having my cars worked on by Elmer for several years and he has always provided excellent service at more than reasonable prices. He has saved me hundreds of $'s compared to other mechanics and certainly dealerships. Even upon moving out of the area, I continue to bring my cars back to Annapolis and Zepeda because of the service! Thanks Elmer! read more

I cannot say enough about Zepedas and what a positive experience we have had with the owner and mechanic, Elmer. I have had our Subaru Forester and Honda CRV worked on there and both times his work has been excellent and prices incredibly reasonable. He has saved me literally hundreds of dollars from the costs that the dealers and other auto service centers quoted me. To find an honest, competent, reasonably priced mechanic is unfortunately very rare. He does exactly what you ask, doesn't try to do unnecessary work, or gouge you on parts and labor. If you live in or around Annapolis, you would be well served to go see Elmer!! read more

This was the best mechanic experience I've ever had. Elmer was awesome and honest! I cannot recommend them enough. I will definitely be going here again in the future. read more

Elmer is a really nice, genuine guy, all about customer service. He actually listened when I told him what the problem was, did a bunch of trouble shooting, pinpointed several major parts that WERE working so I wouldn't get scammed into unnecessary replacements somewhere else, and admitted that the problem probably required someone who was a specialist in electrical work. He was honest, gave detailed information and did not treat me like I must be an idiot since I'm a woman. He also didn't charge me for the basic diagnostic service, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be going back for future general repairs. read more

I'm impressed. Employees here took time to show me what was wrong with my 98 Subaru. Turns out, three tires were spinning, one was not. One of my brakes was stuck and I needed a new brake rotor thing. Luckily they had a spare one and they installed it. Problem solved. What really surprised me was they only charged me $50 for both parts and labor. Zepeda Auto, you now have a new customer for life. Thank you :) read more

Elmer at Zepeda Auto Repair is amazing. We have gone to him a few times and I have to say he has done right by us. I had a coolant leak in my truck to the heater core. It was going to be a 1K repair and he said if you can't afford that we can try something else. It might work it might not but we can try. Since I did not have the cash I went for the quicker fix ar $50 dollars cost or so and it has been working for over a year on my old car. Sometimes you need that little bit of extra time to get up the funds. Many places would not even have tried to help me out like that. I feel he is completely honest and a fair individual. You will not go wrong. Highly Highly recommended. read more
