Avocado Burger w/ Sweet Potato Fries
Alexus N.

One word: BIG. Big burgers! Lol. It was one of those days where I was craving a nice juicy burger. I ordered the avocado burger with sweet potato fries for pickup. Though I love sweet potato fries, the amount of fries I received for the substitution charge wasn't justified (+$3.33 up-charge on DoorDash). It was a good burger, but it didn't "wow" me. The portion of the burger could be shared amongst 2 people. I didn't dine in, but when I arrived to pickup the order, the interior was neat and clean. The cashier spoke very little and gave me a cup for the fountain soda that came with my meal combo. I would highly recommend you bring all your burger lovin' friends here!

Wow what a great place for a burger. Coincidentally located catty corner to a Whataburger across the street. But I came here at eight and all I can say is "what a burger". First of all the patties are hand pressed, from what appears to be some very high-quality Angus beef. I foolishly ordered a double, and it was delicious but I was forced to get a box to take the rest of it home. And I ordered it without fries and it was still just too much to eat at one setting. Thousand Island dressing was a nice touch as well, and it was loaded down with tomatoes onions pickles and lettuce. I also ordered bacon but unless it's Wright Brand bacon folks it's just not that good. (I'm sorry I'm just a bacon snob) as with any hamburger, the bond is half of the experience, then they've got great fresh buns. What are the best things is unlike McDonald's for instance where you get two pickles and that's it ! Here they put plenty of pickles on the sandwich. (my wife said the pickle to meat ratio was proper) I don't get to this part of

Wow. Huge burger. I think the patties are 1/3 pound. I always get a double cheeseburger but only needed a single patty here! The burger tasted great, fries were great as well. Very good for a fried burger. The burger came out quickly and the service was prompt and friendly. The store had plenty of searing and enjoyed the normal music playing. I really enjoyed the burger and would recommend it.

Crazy Burger

Finally had a chance to stop in here earlier today for a meal. I grabbed the crazy burger with fries. Clearly I underestimated the size of the crazy burger, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the fries. That burger was HUGE which I loved but let's get to the mechanics of the burger itself and how it stacks up as a burger. Let's start with the patties themselves. Good cut of meat, balanced fat and lean; they were just fatty enough to chew into easily and yet not too fatty so that they held form while eating, near perfection. Personally, I think they could've been seasoned a little better; nothing really popped in my mouth. On to the condiments. Good but again, nothing spectacular. Maybe a tad more sauce or a stronger cheese. Also, because of how the condiments were arranged, my tomato kept sliding out. Bun was great, soft and lightly toasted. So the burger was good, tender meat, good size, soft bun; but it was missing the "wow" factor for me to put it up there with some of the greats I've had in my life. Fries were really good. Well seasoned, soft with a nice crunch.

Classic pub food on the menu like Shepherd's pie, Burgers, or Fish n'Chips (one of my favorites here). Appetizers like wings and fried pickles are solid too. Service has always been fairly consistent. Bathroom is small, so keep that in mind. It's not a huge place and the booths and tables fill up fast when it's busy. (They do have a small outdoor patio which helps.) St. Patty's day can be pretty fun here too (check the calendar for events) They also have happy hour and daily specials, definitely worth checking out!

I also wasn't expecting it to be an order at the counter and seat yourself type of restaurant. I had tried their chicken, gyro, as well as the beef kabobs. Flavor was excellent, I could taste the char and spices. The chicken and beef were slightly on the dry side though. The beef was cooked to my requested medium perfectly, but it still wasn't as tender as I like. Also they charge extra for more sauce unlike most Greek places I've been to. They also have a whole dessert counter with a lot of choices. I only tried the Trigonas, but it was delicious. Overall, Niko Nikos feels like a good place to grab some quick to-go Greek or a casual dine-in bite.

Just like the Montrose location it's self serve, but with a large dining area. The Greek salad was consistently fresh and well portioned, but the lamb kebab and roasted chicken were overcooked and lacked flavor. I asked for it medium rare but it came out medium to well done. It's not the first time Niko Niko's hasn't gotten it right. The roasted chicken was also overcooked and bland. We subbed the side carbs for sautéed spinach with no up charge, It was actually collard greens. We really enjoyed their Greek passion tea.

I wanted to drive past this place because it looked too small to be good The burgers were super tasty. Lots of great flavor, tater tots were crispy and hot. Located in Spring Branch, this fast casual restaurant is located in the same shopping center as quite a few solid eateries including The Blind Goat, Jinya, and Feges BBQ. In fact, Stuffed Belly is owned by Christine Ha, winner of season five of Masterchef. Parking wasn't an issue in the busy yet spacious complimentary lot around the shopping center. Ambiance (3/5): Stuffed Belly is more of a grab-and-go type spot. The reason? It's quite small. There are about five seats inside and one long picnic style seating area on the small patio. That's it. The restaurant looks nice, just tiny. Service (4.5/5): You order at the counter and they let you know when your order is ready. The ordering process was smooth and we got our food within a reasonable amount of time. While service isn't a big part of the experience, I didn't run into any issues. Drinks (N/A): I didn't order any beverages on this visit. Food (3/5): I went with the belly burger (their classic burger) and an order of the loaded tots. It was a mixed bag. I love a good smash burger, it's one of my favorite types of burgers. The ingredients are all quality. The problem? One issue is that it's a pretty small burger as you can tell from my picture. A kiddie burger of sorts. The loaded tots, on the other hand, were a generous portion. I have a weakness for loaded fries. As others have mentioned in their reviews, fries are not an option at Stuffed Belly. Tots only. I like tater tots too, but it is pretty bizarre for a burger spot to not have fries on the menu. The other issue I have is that both of my items (as well as what my mom ordered) was spicy. Take this with a grain of salt as I can only handle a little spice. Still, the menu offerings packed more of a punch than I expected. Which definitely impacted my enjoyment of the meal. If you like spicy, don't sweat it. If you don't, you're probably going to feel like I did. While Stuffed Belly underdelivered a bit for me, I did come in with high expectations. The Blind Goat is much better (though more expensive) in my book. Also keep in mind that Stuffed Belly closes pretty early on several days of the week... 8 p.m.

I wandered in not expecting much, but my experience here ended up much better than I thought…read more I went with their August prix fixe and went with their Truffle Deviled Eggs, Crispy Sweet & Sour Shrimp, and Key Lime Tart. The deviled eggs make good comfort food and was satisfying. This version doesn't have much of a kick, but it's very creamy and you can definitely taste the truffle oil. The homemade potato chips also add to the texture and salt between bites. The shrimp dish was fun with a light and crispy batter, well-seasoned and drizzled with sweet chili sauce. The cool ranch surprisingly added to the shrimp and enhanced the chili sauce rather than overwhelming it. The made-in-house fries were far better than expected. I was somewhat expecting dense, oily, boring fries, but these were very crisp and somehow didn't feel too greasy as far as fries goes. Almost seemed like an injustice for it to be served with ketchup as it was too good for it. Lastly, the tart was a great way to end the meal without it being too much. Loved the crust. The tart shell tasted really good and went well with the filling, which had a lighter consistency than pudding. Fruits tasted like they were on season, even though it should be a bit too late for strawberries. I'm also a sucker for meringue. I'll have to come back to see if it wasn't a fluke, but there were a lot of dishes here that looked good. Maybe even swing by for happy hour, we'll see. Definitely a nice spot to visit in this neighborhood.
