I had really been craving a burger and fries after having had mostly chicken and salads. Healthy stuff. Lol. I found this place through a search on Yelp of nearby places near my work office in Spring Branch. I saw that it was only about seven minutes away and debated DoorDash, but decided to pick it up, and my coworker joined me. It is located near the Shell gas station on Wirt Rd. in a shopping center with Salata and Thrive. Parking isn't bad. There are a few patio tables right outside the door along the sidewalk. When I walked in, there were a few groups of people on their lunch break, but it was easy to order without a line. A lot more people came in afterwards, though I saw that they had a big brown butter cookie with Belgium, chocolate, and it looked like the last one so I purchased it for $5. I had already looked at the menu so I knew I wanted a double smash burger and hand cut fries. We took it for takeout, and it didn't take that long to wait for it. I liked the potato bun of the burger and I thought the sauce was great. I liked that they put the burger in a container box and it wasn't just wrapped. I really enjoyed the hand cut fries, which the small bag was loaded. I like that the base of the bag was flat so it could actually stand up. The fries were seasoned well with what seemed to like garlic salt and pepper. I feel like there were some bits of Parmesan cheese in there which they do offer garlic Parmesan fries I was debating ordering that as well. My coworker ordered the bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries and enjoyed it. We shared our fries with our other coworkers since it was a large portion. The cookie was soft and filled with lots of chocolate, which was really great. I wish the edges were a little bit more crisp. I bet it's really good and chocolatey gooey when it's fresh out of the oven. Their online menu showed vegan options, though I didn't see the same options other than a mushroom burger. Maybe they don't offer it anymore. If I'm craving a burger and fries, I would consider coming here again since it's so close to work. It's either that or McDonald's, and I do love a QPC. read more

Its a chain but the burger was solid for the price and I really enjoyed the "tater tots" which were really mashed potatoes with breading to me. 10/10 would order that again. Service was friendly and asked specifically about certain ingredients I might have been sensitive to. In this case it was jalapeños, but they used pickled ones with little to no heat, so it was safe anyway. I do appreciate them checking first though. I went for the new Butter Burger double smashed meat and was not disappointed. There was quite a bit of the secret sauce on it, that's probably the one thing I would change. Next up were the truffle tots, they are unique because they're made in house. More chew in the middle than your standard tot, and several times bigger! These went best with the jalapeño ranch for me. First time here, I thought it was really good. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which had coleslaw on it and gave it new twist to a grilled chicken sandwich. Hi, this is now the second time I've tried to come back to your restaurant, and once again I was told I couldn't order a regular kids' hamburger without it being smashed. The employee on the phone told me that's the only way it has ever come, but I've been a customer since day one and have always ordered the kids' hamburger plain and dry with two well-done patties that were not smashed or burnt. I was excited to try this place and was in the mood for a burger. Burger- I ordered a burger with avocado (lettuce wrapped) , fries, and a drink. The burger was good and fresh. The burger flavor reminds me of shake shack. Kids Meal- The kid's burger was very small. It was the size of a slider. They did give my kid a lot of fries, but the burger was tiny. The drink size was a regular soda and not those small kids cup, which was nice. Fries- The fries were served in a small bowl and it was $4.50 . It was a small amount for the price. They were thin cut fries , which weren't bad. Service- I wish the lady taking our order was a bit better. The worker (older lady) seemed annoyed to take my order. It was my first time there and no one else was in line, but made a face when I didn't order right away. She didn't smile and genuinely seemed annoyed the entire time. It's been awhile since I ate here. Came here on Sunday after my daughter's recital. The food unfortunately was too salty. The oil did not taste fresh. The butter lettuce was missing and the tots were too dry and very salty. My wife has celiac disease and unfortunately experienced some Gluten cross contamination that ended up leaving her in a lot of pain. It looked like new staff was there and the owner unfortunately was not present. I hope they're able to raise their standard back up to what it previously was otherwise, I just don't see this place being able to last much longer. I got the mushroom Swiss burger with truffle hand cut fries, and no burger meal is complete without root beer float. My food was served to my table pretty quickly. I asked for medium rare meat but I got medium. However, I loved the sauces on the burger and the patty was delicious. The burger buns were so good! The fries were limp instead of crispy. However, I loved the truffle and cheese on them, which made the fries flavorful. I wasn't liking my root beer float that much as it was missing the intense root beer taste. The vanilla ice cream in the float wasn't adding much to the flavor too. Customers order at the counter, but the food will be served to your table. The restaurant has a carefree and casual vibe.
