After a night on the town, my go to will always be a hot juicy smashburger. Hotline Burger has been on my radar for weeks and I was excited they were opened. I ordered their hotline burger- a class double smashed delight with pickles, grilled onions, cheese and their smash sauce. The garlic parm fries were an amazing add. This day was run by one lone wolf but he was very nice and everything was made to order and served fresh. Will def visit again.

I drove by this location while heading to Chinatown, and I made a note to swing by because the vibrant colors truly intrigued me This is a walk up and order at the window type establishment. The menu is listed above the window, and while there aren't dozens and dozens of options, all their offerings sound delicious. I was actually town between which burger to go with I believe there was one attendant inside, but he was helpful, professional, and efficient. I was given a conservative eta, and the food was ready before then If you want to sit and eat there are a few lovely purple covered picnic tables Some tips: Definitely get the snack fries. They give a hearty amount of fries and the sauce is incredible. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Hotline Burger. Looking online it looks like they do catering if you want some delicious foods ordered for work, the big game, a party, etc Cheers!!

Yes, yes and yes!!! I do love some Hotline Burger, and I was craving it mid-week and wanted to get off my healthy kick for the day. I have been to the Hwy 6 location several times, but hadn't been to this one yet, and the day was nice out, so I decided to give it a go. This location does not have indoor seating, but they do have a patio outside with covered tables which was nice for a day like that. I ordered my food at the walk-up and waited, not too long, and before I knew it, the bag was secured, and the food was ready to be inhaled! I got the Hotline burger, single patty, which was just enough, and some parmesan fries. Everything was super hot, and fresh, and with every bite, I just devoured more and more. It is really hard to go wrong with a Hotline burger when they have consistently stayed consistent. Yep, I said it! They have sustained consistency every time I go, and that is what makes me love them so much!

This was our first time trying Hotline burger. We always love supporting local businesses! I am so happy we gave it a try! The burgers are delicious! Cooked perfectly! You can taste good ingredients down to the pickle! I ordered the jalapeno burger! Fresh jalapenos and dressed perfect! My brother ordered the classic burger. Now can we talk about French fries!! YUMMY YUM YUM!! I ordered the hot garlic parm fries, my brother ordered the cheese fries. Thin fries cooked to perfection! The seasonings are really good and different! If you are in the Sharpstown area it would behoove you to stop in and be wowed!!! Support Local

Been curious to try this burger spot out in front of Strake Jesuit and St. Agnes and finally got the chance recently. While it doesn't seem like there is too much dining in here, I must say the smash burgers are excellent. The fries are very crispy, even after a good 20-30 minute ride home. This place is located on the outskirts of Chinatown on Bellaire and serves as a nice alternative to the predominantly Asian food along the street. Prices are in line with other premium burger joints. We will definitely be back in the near future!

Thomas doesn't like tomatoes. So, don't ask for it. Smashed burger is a trendy dish, I didn't know that. I'm so glad Hotline opened their 2nd restaurant in Chinatown. I was here during a foodie meetup event last Saturday. My friends already ate. So, I ordered mine to go. Well... it's only takeout anyway. I took mine home and I jazzed it up with more vegetables. I'm a picky eater. I have to have vegetables on my burgers. Eating this crispy patty made me want to fry an egg and add extra crispy to the texture. I like the simple concept and the standalone restaurant separate from the rest of the building at Bellaire Gessner Shopping Center aka Fiesta Plaza.

Hotline Burger is such a hidden gem!! The building formerly housed an ice cream joint which never seemed to be very busy anyway so I'm happy that Hotline Burger took its place! I generally only eat Asian food in this area but after a long beach day, we were craving burgers. Much needed sustenance! We got the junior (1 patty) hotline burger, the regular (2 patties) patty melt, along with the smack fries. Everything was so good! I'm not crazy about onions but their caramelized onions in the burger and over the smack fries are so yummy and it compliments the smack sauce well. The burgers were perfectly charred. If you like smash burgers, I think you'll love Hotline! There is a drive through but it has been closed the last 2 times that I've been. I wish it was open though because I don't prefer to get out of my car if I don't have to (especially in this Houston heat). There are 3 picnic tables out front but they were all occupied the first time I went so we had to eat in the car which got a bit messy.

    HOT AND GARLIC PARMESAN FRIES
    Judy C.

LOVED THE FRIES!!! Ordered via their website about 5 minutes ahead and was ready within 5 minutes of waiting in the car. Got the BBQ burger and really liked the flavors. It had bbq sauce, crispy onions, pickles and American cheese. The bun was pillowy and the combination with everything paired really well. Also got two side of fries which was the Hot Fries (almost tasted like spicy ramen seasoning) and Parmesan Garlic fries (really tasty and smelled like Wingstop). One of the most crispiest fries I have ever tasted! Really great job. They had the option of drive thru, but this day I went I guess it was closed. Parking - You can park within the Confucius plaza and walk up to order/pick-up the order

    Cynthia E.

Don't sleep on this tiny smash burger joint! Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect but the burger is delicious! I ended up getting the hotline with no cheese/add jalapeños. Wow! I think it's the combination of the sauce/pickles/onions that did it! This was a solid burger and if you're thinking of trying this place, you definitely should. It lives up to its rating! Also there's plenty of parking and short wait time. The guy working there was also friendly.

Literally nothing bad to say about this place at all. Stumbled upon this gem while in the area and I absolutely did not want the typical drive thru at a traditional fast food restaurant. Walk up window at this location and the cutest Cali style patio. The menu is solid and not overwhelming which I love! I ordered the patty melt, the bbq smash (both junior) and the parm fries. All great choices. Cooked well and crispy. The fries were amazing and not greasy which is something I also loved. The drinks are purchased separately and a little expensive. It's located right next to a grocery store if you want but totally just an idea. For myself and my daughter for lunch I spent exactly $26. I will absolutely try their other location near me on hwy 6. Will return

We tried the turkey, brisket, and jalapeño sausage, and every one of them was delicious. The brisket was especially impressive--moist, incredibly tender, and so soft you didn't even need a knife to cut it. The sides were very good, but the meats were definitely the highlight of the meal. One thing we really appreciated was the toppings bar, which included pickles, onions, pickled onions, jalapeños, and two different barbecue sauces so you could customize each bite. They even had a mini soft-serve ice cream machine for a little dessert after your meal, which was a nice touch. They also offer family meal options, making it a great choice for larger groups. The lychee ceviche I was looking forward to was underwhelming. More beautiful than tasty, which the dessert suffered the same fate. The soccer ball was photogenic but it should be both with the level of sophistication in taste they acquire in their craft. It was reminiscent of a Cadbury egg. Just the peaches and the chocolate were unimpressive and not complimentary of each other. The tuna papad was amazing. Some subtle hints of aromatic Indian flavors and and sweetness. The contrast of crisp and soft and presented well. That's how I expected each dish. The rizala was creamy but not exciting with bold flavors like I was hoping. The lamb was inconsistent. One of them was tough and texture/taste off. The rest were tender but not flavorful enough in seasoning. Tried a new naan. Nimbu it was ok but too thin for naan and the lemon essence didn't really spread well across. Mango pina colada was nice. Quite disappointing for $220 though. Possible I just ordered terribly. We ain't in Queens anymore…read more For years, I've eaten on Shah's all around the borough, initially out in Ozone Park and Briarwood before finding a real audience in Sunnyside. Now that they've sufficiently blown up around NYC, I was a bit shocked (and excited) to see them finally come to H-Town. What's the verdict? It's good enough to pass muster for NY standards (#1), is open super late, and will likely be my go-to Halal food for the foreseeable future. Since I've only had it in cart form, I'm still a buggin over the fact it's become a franchise. It's similar to my shock of eating Halal Guys at a store for the first time. The digs feel as foreign (prices, large, clean and bright interior) as it does familiar (taste, logo, etc.). Even though I had a laugh seeing the wall photo-mural of a Shah's cart in Times Square, I did appreciate the nod to Ozone Park with the 121st & Liberty street signs. The chicken + lamb combo platter ($12) is and always will be the winner. The lamb had the same kind of seasoning that most Halal spots out here try to replicate but can never get right. The rice was fluffy, and the white sauce was easily the highlight. I can understand why they've decided to bottle it up and sell it as liquid gold. It makes every meal better. Kofta ($12) and chapli ($13) are rarely my favorites, but I knew I had both in platter form. The addition of adding chickpeas and these other salads is not something I'm used to from the carts (#2) but I loved the fact it was drowned in the white sauce with a dash of hot sauce. The latter is supposedly extremely hot, but I didn't find it that spicy. While I have to say the cheeseburger was a bit of a disappointment (overly bready, thin patty), the pakora chips and french fries were fabulous. They were perfectly seasoned, had a nice crisp, and frankly would be an excellent, gut-busting addition to any platter. I don't love the extra charge, but I hope they remain consistent with it. This store location in Westchase along Westheimer is an up and coming part of town. There are numerous Middle Eastern businesses in the adjacent area, along with an abundance of parking spots and a good amount of late night activity. This is a nicely sized spot next to the Jusgo plaza in Houston Chinatown, so plenty of parking and also food options. It's tucked in a corner but should not be written off. Its a pretty casual sitdown restaurant and we were welcomed and sat pretty quickly on a Saturday around 8:30PM. We were provided menus and started ordering everything that sounded good (within reason for 2, sorta). We ended up getting the Uyghur polo with lamb shank, Uyghur goshnaan, korma chop, garlic cucumbers, mint tea, and a yogurt for dessert. This was more than enough food for 2 but I wanted to try a bunch and this is me holding back. The Uyghur goshnaan was very crispy and the filling was flavorful and juicy, good lamb flavor and nice spices. The Uyghur polo with lamb shank was great and the pilaf had a nice sweetness with raisins that cut through some of the fatty richness of the lamb. The korma chop was also super flavorful with a nice savory sauce and noodled with an excellent texture, very QQ. I don't usually order cucumbers at Asian restaurants cause I can make a cucumber salad pretty easily at home but the one here was very good. Excellent refreshing crunch and garlic flavor to go with all the other dishes. The mint tea was also nice to wash down the mountains of food I was inhaling. I also enjoyed the yogurt, it's a thicker yogurt like a Greek yogurt and topped with honey and raisins. Again, a nice sweet/tart treat that didn't feel too heavy after everything else. I definitely need to come back as I didn't even get my big plate chicken but it'll be hard to choose between all the options. I def recommend this spot, esp if you like lamb as all the dishes we had were excellent and priced fairly for the portion and current economic situation.

I recently came back and realized this place is now called Space City Bites instead of Wings 87…read more Apparently, there's new management, which explains the changes. I noticed they now advertise 50 flavors, and the specials have changed as well. Unfortunately, just my luck, my usual flavor, Spicy Lemon Pepper BBQ, is no longer on the menu. I decided to try Spicy Lemon Pepper Honey instead, and it was actually really good. I'd definitely order that flavor again. My friend ordered the same flavor, but her order only came out as regular Spicy Lemon Pepper, so she was understandably disappointed with that mix-up. I also ordered two separate 6-count wing orders ($10.99 each) and was only given one ranch sauce. Mind you, these weren't part of a wing special. If I had ordered a 12-count with two flavors, I would've understood, but ordering two separate 6-counts made me assume we'd each get our own sauce. Maybe I should've been more specific, but honestly, I didn't think that would be necessary. The other odd part of the experience was requesting the wings to be fried hard. The cook came out from the back three separate times to confirm that's what I wanted and kept emphasizing that it would take 20 minutes. I was a little confused because, yes, that's exactly how I ordered them, and I was perfectly fine waiting since I'm paying for the food. I even asked how long they normally cook them because all the repeated confirmations started making me concerned. The reason I requested them fried hard in the first place was because during a previous visit, the wings were soft and borderline undercooked. Overall, the wings were good this time around, but the multiple service hiccups made the experience a little frustrating. I'd probably come back, but maybe on a Wednesday for the .99 special because there are other places in Houston with better wing deals at this price point. The food has potential, especially with all the flavor options, but consistency and attention to detail could definitely be improved.
