After a night on the town, my go to will always be a hot juicy smashburger. Hotline Burger has been on my radar for weeks and I was excited they were opened. I ordered their hotline burger- a class double smashed delight with pickles, grilled onions, cheese and their smash sauce. The garlic parm fries were an amazing add. This day was run by one lone wolf but he was very nice and everything was made to order and served fresh. Will def visit again.

I drove by this location while heading to Chinatown, and I made a note to swing by because the vibrant colors truly intrigued me This is a walk up and order at the window type establishment. The menu is listed above the window, and while there aren't dozens and dozens of options, all their offerings sound delicious. I was actually town between which burger to go with I believe there was one attendant inside, but he was helpful, professional, and efficient. I was given a conservative eta, and the food was ready before then If you want to sit and eat there are a few lovely purple covered picnic tables Some tips: Definitely get the snack fries. They give a hearty amount of fries and the sauce is incredible. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Hotline Burger. Looking online it looks like they do catering if you want some delicious foods ordered for work, the big game, a party, etc Cheers!!

Yes, yes and yes!!! I do love some Hotline Burger, and I was craving it mid-week and wanted to get off my healthy kick for the day. I have been to the Hwy 6 location several times, but hadn't been to this one yet, and the day was nice out, so I decided to give it a go. This location does not have indoor seating, but they do have a patio outside with covered tables which was nice for a day like that. I ordered my food at the walk-up and waited, not too long, and before I knew it, the bag was secured, and the food was ready to be inhaled! I got the Hotline burger, single patty, which was just enough, and some parmesan fries. Everything was super hot, and fresh, and with every bite, I just devoured more and more. It is really hard to go wrong with a Hotline burger when they have consistently stayed consistent. Yep, I said it! They have sustained consistency every time I go, and that is what makes me love them so much!

This was our first time trying Hotline burger. We always love supporting local businesses! I am so happy we gave it a try! The burgers are delicious! Cooked perfectly! You can taste good ingredients down to the pickle! I ordered the jalapeno burger! Fresh jalapenos and dressed perfect! My brother ordered the classic burger. Now can we talk about French fries!! YUMMY YUM YUM!! I ordered the hot garlic parm fries, my brother ordered the cheese fries. Thin fries cooked to perfection! The seasonings are really good and different! If you are in the Sharpstown area it would behoove you to stop in and be wowed!!! Support Local

my bride couldn't wait to eat the fries, so they were half gone by the time they arrived at the house

Been curious to try this burger spot out in front of Strake Jesuit and St. Agnes and finally got the chance recently. While it doesn't seem like there is too much dining in here, I must say the smash burgers are excellent. The fries are very crispy, even after a good 20-30 minute ride home. This place is located on the outskirts of Chinatown on Bellaire and serves as a nice alternative to the predominantly Asian food along the street. Prices are in line with other premium burger joints. We will definitely be back in the near future!

Thomas doesn't like tomatoes. So, don't ask for it. Smashed burger is a trendy dish, I didn't know that. I'm so glad Hotline opened their 2nd restaurant in Chinatown. I was here during a foodie meetup event last Saturday. My friends already ate. So, I ordered mine to go. Well... it's only takeout anyway. I took mine home and I jazzed it up with more vegetables. I'm a picky eater. I have to have vegetables on my burgers. Eating this crispy patty made me want to fry an egg and add extra crispy to the texture. I like the simple concept and the standalone restaurant separate from the rest of the building at Bellaire Gessner Shopping Center aka Fiesta Plaza.

Hotline Burger is such a hidden gem!! The building formerly housed an ice cream joint which never seemed to be very busy anyway so I'm happy that Hotline Burger took its place! I generally only eat Asian food in this area but after a long beach day, we were craving burgers. Much needed sustenance! We got the junior (1 patty) hotline burger, the regular (2 patties) patty melt, along with the smack fries. Everything was so good! I'm not crazy about onions but their caramelized onions in the burger and over the smack fries are so yummy and it compliments the smack sauce well. The burgers were perfectly charred. If you like smash burgers, I think you'll love Hotline! There is a drive through but it has been closed the last 2 times that I've been. I wish it was open though because I don't prefer to get out of my car if I don't have to (especially in this Houston heat). There are 3 picnic tables out front but they were all occupied the first time I went so we had to eat in the car which got a bit messy.

    HOT AND GARLIC PARMESAN FRIES
    Judy C.

LOVED THE FRIES!!! Ordered via their website about 5 minutes ahead and was ready within 5 minutes of waiting in the car. Got the BBQ burger and really liked the flavors. It had bbq sauce, crispy onions, pickles and American cheese. The bun was pillowy and the combination with everything paired really well. Also got two side of fries which was the Hot Fries (almost tasted like spicy ramen seasoning) and Parmesan Garlic fries (really tasty and smelled like Wingstop). One of the most crispiest fries I have ever tasted! Really great job. They had the option of drive thru, but this day I went I guess it was closed. Parking - You can park within the Confucius plaza and walk up to order/pick-up the order

Don't sleep on this tiny smash burger joint! Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect but the burger is delicious! I ended up getting the hotline with no cheese/add jalapeños. Wow! I think it's the combination of the sauce/pickles/onions that did it! This was a solid burger and if you're thinking of trying this place, you definitely should. It lives up to its rating! Also there's plenty of parking and short wait time. The guy working there was also friendly.

Literally nothing bad to say about this place at all. Stumbled upon this gem while in the area and I absolutely did not want the typical drive thru at a traditional fast food restaurant. Walk up window at this location and the cutest Cali style patio. The menu is solid and not overwhelming which I love! I ordered the patty melt, the bbq smash (both junior) and the parm fries. All great choices. Cooked well and crispy. The fries were amazing and not greasy which is something I also loved. The drinks are purchased separately and a little expensive. It's located right next to a grocery store if you want but totally just an idea. For myself and my daughter for lunch I spent exactly $26. I will absolutely try their other location near me on hwy 6. Will return

I chose the grilled chicken and rice bowl, and I can confidently report that it was excellent. Fresh, simple, and completely disappeared within minutes. The humans seemed happy with their meals too. They ordered a strip steak, salmon, and a salad, and I didn't hear a single complaint from their side of the table. The staff were incredibly friendly and made a point of welcoming me as an actual guest instead of just someone's dog. Between the dedicated dog menu, the spacious patio, and the warm service, it's easy to see why this place is so popular with pet owners. If you're visiting Houston with your dog, Lazy Dog is an easy recommendation. Dogba's verdict: Five paws. Excellent chicken. Outstanding customer service. Finally, a restaurant that knows to hand me a menu first.

Credence -- Where Live Fire Becomes Language and Houston Becomes Art…read more Credence isn't just a restaurant; it's a declaration written in flame. The moment you step inside, the room opens like a long exhale -- wide, airy, and confident, anchored by an open kitchen that glows with the kind of live fire that doesn't simply cook food but tells stories. This is Houston hospitality raised to its highest register, the kind that once earned a Michelin Star for service and still moves with the quiet pride of a place that knows exactly what it's doing. Chef Levi Goode's first brick‑and‑mortar feels like a culmination -- a fifth‑generation Texan with classical training finally building a home where both halves of his identity can stretch their legs. You taste the lineage in the smoke, the discipline in the technique, and the ambition in the menu, which reads like a love letter to Gulf waters, ranch land, and the elemental power of fire. Start with the seafood tower if you want to understand Credence's worldview: fresh, cold, towering abundance arranged with the precision of someone who respects the ocean as much as the plate. The smoked tuna dip is a quiet masterpiece -- silky, savory, and carrying a whisper of smoke that feels like a signature. But the deviled crab? That's where the kitchen shows off. The crab arrives tossed in a smoky tomato butter that clings to every fold, every shred, every hidden corner. Then comes the monkey bread -- warm, soft, pull‑apart temptation -- the kind of bread that makes you forget your manners and commit fully to the moment. But the flame is the true narrator here. It guides the entrées, sets the rhythm, and crowns the showpieces. The whole duck is a spectacle, a celebration, a feast meant for people who appreciate craft and aren't afraid of abundance. It arrives whole (no head), lacquered and glistening, with two legs transformed into confit jewels -- tender, rich, and decadent enough to make you pause mid‑bite. This is not a solo mission; bring a friend or two unless you plan to make a memory out of leftovers. If beef is your compass, the prime dry‑aged New York strip is a study in restraint and precision. Charred edges, deep flavor, and that unmistakable live‑fire signature that makes you wonder why you ever settled for anything cooked on a quiet grill. Dessert at Credence is not an afterthought -- it's a finale. The brown butter Bundt cake arrives warm and fragrant, crowned with chantilly cream that melts into every ridge. It's sized for a crowd, but sharing becomes a philosophical dilemma. Credence is not cheap, but it is honest. Every dollar is accounted for in intention, detail, and execution. This is Houston -- bold, generous, and unafraid -- translated into food, flame, and service. A restaurant that honors the land, the lineage, and the craft, all at once.

If you enjoy decadent food, Credence is the spot! The interior is refined but still welcoming and…read morelively with Southern charm. Service was amazing-- we loved our waiter who was a combination of polite, funny, and knowledgeable, and everyone gave us a smile. All the dishes were beautifully presented and flavorful but definitely on the heavier side. - Beet salad (5/5)-- wow, never had a beet salad like this one before! So much flavor with a tanginess from vinegar sweetened by the blueberries and beets. The beets didn't taste very earthy (aka like dirt) compared to most beet salad. This was really well executed :) - Caesar salad (3.5/5)-- Credence's spin on Caesar, which according to my Caesar salad pro diner, didn't really taste like Caesar salad. Also very tangy and tart but the pro still enjoyed it as a salad dish. - Roasted cabbage (4/5)-- big fan of the way they roasted this, perfect tenderness without being cabbage mush! Definitely a heavy dish, especially for a vegetable option, as it was swimming in a butter cream sauce that started to congeal as it cooled off. Would choose this more as an indulgent appetizer rather than a healthy veggie option. I wonder if one could ask for the sauce on the side... - Tuna tostada (3.5/5)-- if you like strong flavors, this one packs a punch. The gochujang aioli beneath the tuna is really concentrated, making it difficult to taste the actual tuna. There's a bit of heat but thankfully I wouldn't say it was spicy. Fun to try. The tostada itself was very dense and almost a bit bread-y versus a crispy chip texture. - Crab fried rice (4/5)-- comes with lobster foam that is mixed table side and a generous amount of crabmeat lumps. The rice actually had a nice texture without being too... grainy / individualized, but it was too salty for me. - Akaushi Wagyu beef (4.5/5)-- loved the texture which was tender but with some chew (was expecting more of a melt-in-the-mouth texture though) and the veggies that it came with. It was heavily salted, too much so for me. Would've been perfect with less salt since there's already a chimichurri sauce with it. - Peanut butter tart (4.5/5)-- peanut butter lovers rejoice! The chocolate filling was rich, thick, and sweet which was complemented nicely with the whipped cream (not sweet at all). The peanut flavor really shined. The crust didn't have much of a taste by itself and was sandy in texture, not sure if on purpose or over-baked and dried out. Either way, the tart looked impressive when it arrived and was delectable-- my favorite bite of the night! Overall a nice experience! Although there was a mess up and the rest of our two salads and crab rice wasn't packed with our other food to take home; I was pretty sad about that since it was quite a bit of food (and $$). I might return for that peanut butter tart, but everything else was too heavy and too salty for me. I'm personally not a huge butter fan, but if you are, definitely make a reservation for a special occasion or date!

The place is clean, and the staff is super friendly, though I'm pretty sure our server didn't realize I'm Filipino because she kept asking if we liked the dishes like we'd never had them before. It cracked me up lol! Most of our cravings were definitely satisfied. I was disappointed they don't serve sago with the gulaman anymore, and the crab fried rice didn't seem to have actual crab in it. I could smell it, but I couldn't see it. The pork BBQ sticks were huge and flavorful, while the inihaw na pusit was on the smaller side, but dipping it in their vinegar sauce made it extra good. My husband tried pork sisig for the first time, and the server explained it's best eaten while drinking, aka as a "pulutan" which again confirmed she didn't realize we're Filipino. The halo-halo was perfect for cooling off in this Texas heat, though I remember the serving being bigger when they first opened. Pata was lightly seasoned so dipping it in the shoyu sauce is recommended. The Kare Kare was perfect and the Halo Halo was refreshing. The staff are very friendly. Lots of tables to dine at and lots of parking. This is a huge restaurant with a stage where they have scheduled live music entertainment.
