    Cute, right?
    Amy W.

Came hungry. Left extremely satisfied and mildly emotionally attached to the Brussels sprouts and the pimento cheese. Started with the pimento cheese app, which came with such a generous portion that they brought extra bread--because running out of bread before running out of pimento cheese would've been a crime. Creamy, flavorful, and very "just one more bite" energy. For mains, I had the pork chop and my husband had the ribs, and we both chose wisely. Everything was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and clearly made by people who know what they're doing. We ordered the Brussels sprouts as a side thinking we were being responsible adults... turns out they were secretly the star of the meal. Drinks were also on point. My husband had the Citrus Kiss, I had the Lightning Strikes Twice, and yes--lightning did in fact strike twice. Both were delicious and a little dangerous. The restaurant is super cute and cozy, the service was great, and the owner stopped by our table to say hello, which instantly made the whole experience feel warm and personal. 10/10 would come back. 11/10 would order the pimento cheese again. 12/10 would never skip the Brussels sprouts

My daughters and I tried KP's in Bellaire for brunch, and it was a nice spot with a fair number of vegetarian options--not mind-blowing, but definitely enough to work with. We got there around 1:30 PM (brunch runs until 3:00 PM), and while we were offered the brunch menu, we ended up ordering from the lunch menu instead. My daughters went with the rigatoni without the meat, and they really liked it. The staff was super accommodating in helping us find good vegetarian options. I had the house veggie burger with fries, which was good, but the pasta was definitely the better pick. The pasta had a nice buttery garlic flavor! Service was friendly, the restaurant was clean and well-decorated, and I noticed that they had a private room for larger groups. Next time, we'll actually go for brunch and try the French toast and request a vegetarian version of Eggs Benedict! Looking forward to going back.

The service was excellent: attentive, helpful, great personalities and humor. The ambiance felt like it was having an identity crisis. Very low lighting-a little too dark for me-gave it a romantic feel but the music included the song YMCA, 1990s hip hop and 1980s pop songs that along with sports on TVs sends mixed signals. The house salad was delicious. Fresh greens, not too astringent radishes and the vinaigrette was so good. I'd like the recipe. The chicken tenders and fries were just meh. Lacked seasoning and they lacked the girth and juiciness I'd expect from a tender and a bit dry. I think there's potential here. I know KP has a reputation for good food so I will be back. I heard the burger and fish are excellent. They also have ribeye night. I love a good steak. Looking forward to giving that burger a try next time!

    Buttermilk Chicken Plater!

My Auntie has been wanting to try this restaurant since they opened and she read the reviews. Yesterday was her birthday, so we took her there for birthday brunch. The food was exceptional and everyone loved their meals, from Buttermilk Fried Chicken, to salmon with veggies, to double cheeseburger, to fish n chips oh, and the Brussel Sprouts left us all speechless. I can't wait to go back for the 4-6 PM smaller plate menu items and the happy hour deals! We were warmly greeted and served by multiple very delightful restaurant personnel from appetizer to entrees and other small requests. Everyone was pleasant and truly seemed to enjoy their work. I love it when I experience this level of care and attention in a restaurant. The place is not too small and not massive in size like many of the chains. It's just right and lovely decor with huge mirrors so you're not staring at a blank wall. Very well thought out concept and menu choices. The menu offers much more than online. I believe a true sign of a quality restaurant with fresh ingredients, has a menu that says "ask what our Chef is cooking today" which was the case for a few of the menu choices. Indeed I asked about them all! The two soup choices today were both vegetarian and although I didn't order either, both sounded scrumptious! I am not done with KP's and will be back...soon! Sorry I missed the photo of the Brussel sprouts!

We came at 11:30 AM and were immediately greeted and seated by a server. [When we left the restaurant was filled - popular place for a Tuesday lunch.] Service was excellent, food came out in about 7-8 minutes. Food was great - waiter brought us the requested condiments. The owner came by a couple of times to check on us. It couldn't have been better. I continue to recommend this casual restaurant for lunch.

Food was fabulous! They have a live band on Saturday night. Cute decorations on the tables and around the room. Waitress was helpful with the menu and even though we were full talked us into a peach cobbler.

    Breakfast

What a wonderful great brunch. KP in Bellaire is a go to for me when looking for eggs benedict. I did order the eggs benedict and they were cooked to perfection. The golden hollandaise sauce with a bit of a tang was my favorite and complemented the homemade biscuits. The dish was served with bacon, homestyle potatos and a fresh cup of coffee along with excellent service.

    Spinach dip do not order

I decided to go to this location as I read reviews that the food was good. The location has plenty of parking as it is in a small plaza with front a rear parking. Open walking in I was greeted and offered to be seated as I had a reservation. The ambiance is so cute and clean. All staff were friendly and checked in during my visit. I decided to order off the restaurant month menu which was $39 for a three course meal. I ordered the spinach dip, lemon chicken, orzo and spinach as well as the fluffy cake. I did not like any of the food. The spinach dip wasn't creamy or flavored and the chicken, orzo, and cake was bland. When I informed them I didn't like the spinach dip the offered me chicken bites in which the food was hot looked good but lacked flavor and seasoning. I was just surprised as I haven't gone somewhere in a long time where I didn't like anything I ordered. In addition, I ordered a smoked Old Fashioned which was good and regular that was just okay. The drinks are pretty pricey so be ready to spend. I liked how they have lots of upcoming event with steak night and later that day they were gonna have a 80s dj at 6pm Saturday night.

16 oz. Ribeye & Truffle Fries

It was our first time and will definitely not be our last. We had the most wonderful service with Annalisa (I hope I spelled that correctly). We went for the Thursday night special and had the 16 oz ribeye which was so tender and well seasoned. The starters were exceptional, especially the butternut squash soup. They comped some truffled deviled eggs for us since it was our first time dining and they were a religious experience to say the least. Additionally, they sent out the cheesecake which was the perfect way to end such a decadent meal. Overall, it was one of the most attentive and special dining experiences I've ever had. Would recommend to anyone!

The service and food was over the top....that means really great. The KP'S insta-famous bacon double cheeseburger was amazing, full of flavor, they asked if cooked medium was okay...yes it was medium, grilled to perfection, the bun and the bacon was very tasty, the fries were great as well. My wife asked if they could do an omelet and they said of course, it came out perfect with the ingredients she asked for, it came with soft fried potatos, also very good. They use Katz coffee roasted on Karbach Street so we had to get a few cups of that. Great meal and equally superb friendly service. Will we be back? Yup!

The origami ceiling, lively bar, friendly staff, unique cocktails, fun bathroom, and photo booth in the corner made for an unforgettable experience. My friend said it was the busiest he had ever seen the place, and it was loud. But we got some awesome drinks that I swore I could've taken pics of -- the lighting was a little crazy, so I think I ultimately changed my mind with that. One was the periscope which was a refreshing and summery gin drink... And I think I tried the naked and famous too because I like mezcal. I had already eaten so I skipped the restaurant the speakeasy's connected to, but I cannot wait to return to Houston outside of a Con so I can really go all out on exploring. It was an amazing way to end my first night!
