Absolute gem of a find...litteraly! Located subtly next to the Gelateria you'll find a place that will transform you to a beautiful scenic outdoor space that makes you think you're in Italy! Step down the narrow hall and you'll be seat either at the bar, high tip tables or tables on the patio. A calming fountain and a little light background smooth music sets the ambiance. Crafted cocktails are delectable! I had a had time choosing as they all sounded delicious. There are also some small apps that can be bought and shared as well as wood fire pizzas. Oh yeah...you can even get gelato from next door. Service was top notch! Our waitress had a soft voice that was welcoming and kept checking on us all evening. A nice gentleman (manager?) came around to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and turned on the heater. One of the best speakeasy's I've been too in the country by far. This is a such a great hidden find in Houston!

The space is so fun and definitely a hidden gym that I wouldn't have realized was even there if I hadn't gone looking for it. It is tucked away next to Enoteca Rossa. Once you enter, the place opens up in the back to a beautiful courtyard and bar. We went on a cold night and there were heaters and even a fire pit going. Looks like there is an awesome pizza oven too. Our biggest issue was our service. It took forever for us to be waited on. We were told later that there had been a surge in customers, but even then it had felt like a really long time. This was between arrival and our first drink, as well as between our first and second drink. We may have had more if we had been given the opportunity. The drink was really fun and we all got to try some new things. Definitely worth going back to give it another try. Fun date night spot!

Enjoyable cocktail bar with a modern yet intimate vibe, delicious drinks, and attentive service. I did have a bit of sticker shock at the $18+ price point, but I suppose that's the reality of today's cocktail scene. All in all, it's a spot I'd happily return to when I'm in the mood to drink out instead of at home.

It was a quiet night and we were looking for a place to enjoy a private conversation and a solid drink. Rossa fit the bill exactly. I have a thing for speakeasies, and the entrance to this one did not disappoint. The back area is remarkably large and open, creating an enjoyable ambiance. The service was on point -- neither intrusive nor absent -- and the drinks were good (although they were on the expensive side). We'll be back.

As I was finishing a lovely date night at Rossa Enconteca a manager walked with us towards the door and asked "have you heard about our speak easy?" We were both somewhat tired and ready to go home, but those magic words intrigued us. He walked us outside and past the cute Gelato shop (also owned by them). Off to the right (same building as the gelato shop), is a neat looking door that I would never have thought to walk thru... but this is the entry to a gorgeous little speakeasy If you've never been to any of the other Rossa restaurants they're just on the outskirts of West U and Bellaire. You won't have the hustle and bustle of the city, which is kind of refreshing. Rossa Enoteca is an amazing Italian restaurant, and Gelato Rossa is an inviting little gelato shop that just recently opened as well The hallway into the bar area is dimly lit, and it feels like you're walking through a secret passageway in a beautiful villa. The speakeasy has a trendy bar, and a chic lounge area. They are working on getting patio furniture, but they have a patio, fountain, and a well manicured lawn area out back Their cocktail list has some truly delicious and beautiful concoctions. The prices are a little steep, but these are handcrafted and worth it The staff was friendly. The manager came over and told us a little bit about the history of the bar, and their future projects (like the patio and lawn). We also happened to mention "man, it's such a nice night, it would be nice to sit outside, and they moved a table and chairs from inside their lounge area to the patio, which was very thoughtful Some tips: There is self parking in the lot next to their restaurant. They also offer valet as a good option. One drink that isn't on the list that you should consider trying is their espresso martini. Theirs is a delicious cocktail, and they garnish is with a large marshmallow that their torch for you at the table. Also, if you want to enjoy the foods of their main Italian restaurant, but in this more intimate setting, you can order it and have it brought over Cheers!!

Cute spot perfect for a date night! Their cocktails and mocktails were all delicious. If you love a spicy kick to your drink the Bougainvillea did the spot. Service was friendly but the bar seemed to slow down significantly once it started getting busier. They have a few snacks on the menu. All we tried were the truffle fries which were fine. My only real gripe was parking - it was a bit rough since it's a small lot with pretty much only valet unless you were there for the gelato next door. Valet left much to be desired as there was no organization with where the cars should enter and no one really directing anything, so just be prepared for that. If I come back it will probably be early before dinner to avoid the rush.

Open Table Details (stating casual dress)

Made my reservation on Open Table, before going I read all the details....paying particular attention to the dress code (casual). The day of I got a text from I think a manager confirming and just asking a few follow up questions and everything seemed good to go. When we arrived, we were dressed causal and walked to our table by the hostess. As we were seating a gentleman came up to us and said "unfortunately" we couldn't stay because we were out of dress code. I told him that Open Table stated casual and he said well they had new management and we couldn't stay. We left and went next door to Enoteca Rossa and had a phenomenal time.

    Excellent martini and excellent view.

The food came in a very timely matter the waitress and anyone working there seem to be very nice and respectable. The ambience is giving very sexy mode, not rowdy, but you can tell this is definitely a hang out spot for adults. It is dark in there they do have table lamps, but I love it. My child did come with so this kid friendly. The food was definitely a nine out of 10 And not so much of just the taste I'm factoring in the presentation as well. The sticky rice was amazing. I mean the shrimp had the perfect type of heat mind you I did Houston restaurant week. So I got three course meal for $39. My first course was the sticky rice 9.5 out of 10 My second course was the fried chicken smothered with gravy and mushroom mashed potatoes and kale greens .. I'm gonna give it a eight out of 10 because I did not like the mushrooms. This gravy wasn't seasoned very well, but it was still very good. My last course was the brownie and oh my God it was absolutely delicious I think that was like my favorite part. I really wanted to order another brownie because it was really good. Overall, I have to get this place at nine out of 10. I'm definitely coming back to try some other meals.

Again, very very generous portion served with mashed potato on the side. There was very a nice smoke flavor to the steaks, but the restaurant could have minimized their burnt parts (my personal preference) their complimentary dessert was this peanut shaped pastry that tasted very much like a kitkat! restroom was 10/10, they even had mints and bobby pins in the ladies for your emergency :)) overall, perfect pick for date nights and fancy business dinner meetings. Staff were very attentive, customers dressed to nines, so come in your best outfits :))

You can see their happy hour menu on their website. Greg (the bartender) is the absolute best! There's even the "Roxy Room" upstairs which you can rent out for any private events. For the food, you order at one of the food stands that you like and receive a text when it's ready to get picked up. I was so torn inbetween all the options that were presented to me, but decided to go with Blk Mkt Birria. Their birria tacos were great! There was something slightly spicy about them (maybe the tortilla since it was a literal red color?) so if you are SUPER sensitive to spice I wouldnt order these. They did have limited edition Birria Tamales which I just HAD to try. Honestly they were just a tad bit dry on their own but drenching it in the Birria consommé (which is what the consommé was meant for) it was great! I need to come back here to try all the other food vendors! I already know the bar is a vibe so I gotta see if each genre of food will have my mind blown :) Next time I come, I do wanna try Mad Dogs, the Pita-Ria, Seoulside, Bird Haus, or Cvche. But I only have one stomach so I think it'll take multiple times coming here to try all the food I want, but it's ok it's totally worth!
