The food was good, and the atmosphere was very nice. I genuinely enjoyed those aspects of my experience. Unfortunately, the parking situation was such a major turnoff that I will not be returning. There is both self-parking and valet, yet you have to pay to park either way--$20. What made it even more frustrating was watching cars leave the parking lot and seeing the parking attendants immediately place cones in the newly available spaces. I drove around looking for a spot and was eventually directed by a parking attendant to park in a space that actually belonged to another business in the shopping center. Despite not even parking in the restaurant's designated area, I was still charged $20. The entire parking setup left a very negative impression and, from a customer's perspective, came across as excessive and greedy. It's unfortunate because the food was good, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and I make a point of supporting local businesses. However, paying $20 just to park--especially under these circumstances--is enough to keep me from returning. read more

Juliet is almost a perfect spot to impress your loved ones. The concept is cute and the staff are wonderful. They were especially good to my mom and sister, which I've noticed. Note that they only seem to do valet parking (in a parking lot btw so a bit lame) and they do automatically charge gratuity as mentioned on the menu, which I actually think is convenient. We saw they had a Restaurant Week menu, so went with that. I had the crab cake for my appetizer. The shocking thing was that this might've been the best crab cake I've ever had, and I've had plenty in Maryland! It was so tender and perfect with the two sauces, like I'm still dreaming of it! My party also had the Caesar salad and the Crispy Sweet Thai Chili Shrimp, both delicious. I also had a Peachy Peach because why not? I had the Braised Bone-in Short Rib, which was flavorful and sauce was fantastic! It could've been braised longer for it to be more tender, but was worth trying. The girls got the USDA Prime New York Strip and the Prime Bone-in Ribeye. Ribeye was flavorful and done the way my mom wanted, which is probably not how I would've wanted it. Only problem was that the Prime NY Strip was inconsistently cooked, with half of it way overdone instead of medium. Since it was cooked so oddly, by the time we noticed, was a bit too late to send back. Maybe they were probably off their game since it was Labor Day to be fair, and it did take awhile for them to check back on us since they seemed short staffed that night. Dessert was good too. We had the Snickerdoodle Bread Pudding and the Butter Cake, the latter probably being the better of the two. I saw their regular menu and felt this would be a good place to order and split the sides family style. Went for HRW on a Saturday. We had a reservation but still had to wait 30 minutes standing around before being seated. Why??? Once we were seated, our waiter was friendly. He took our orders, answered all our questions, and checked in on us throughout the meal. We had popcorn on the table and I LOVED it. So buttery. For my appetizer, I got the crispy Thai chili shrimp. Presentation was alright, but the flavor was good! I definitely tasted more of the sweet chili than the truffle oil, though. For my entrée, I went with the 16 oz pork chop. I was going back and forth between this and the short rib, but I'm very happy with my choice. The pork chop was GLAZED and charred just at the edges - I tell you! And lowkey, I loved the brown butter hazelnut sauce. I was dipping every bite in it. It wasn't too fatty either, which I appreciated. For dessert, I got the snickerdoodle bread pudding. It was good... but... why did it look like someone took a bite out of it?! I'm sure it's prepped earlier in the day, but I wish I had gotten a prettier-looking slice rather than one that looked like it already had a bite missing. Went to Juliet for an anniversary dinner and it was the most aesthetic and lovely restaurant. You park and step inside an old school movie theatre to check in with the host. Then you go through the double doors to find such a dimly lit, magical theatre set restaurant with live music and booths that are huge and plenty of room for the whole party. They prepare a menu for you that you can take home that says "happy birthday" or "happy anniversary" which was such a nice touch. The service is very on point and knowledgeable. They take their time explaining the menu and giving you space as you enjoy the ambiance. The food was really good. Enjoyed the crab cakes and pasta very much! Absolutely Amazing Experience! This was probably my third time visiting Juliet, and once again, it did not disappoint! My husband and I came to celebrate our 28th pastoral anniversary. Our church congregation gifted us the reservation as part of our anniversary celebration, so we were really looking forward to enjoying a nice evening together, and Juliet was the perfect choice. I'll start with the one thing that still puzzles me a little: the parking. They offer valet as well as paid self-parking, but both options are literally right outside the restaurant in the same open parking area shared with other businesses. If I'm parking my own car, I personally feel like that option should probably be complimentary. But that was really my only little "hmmm" of the evening. Once you walk inside, the experience begins! Juliet has this really cool old-school movie theater vibe. The entrance looks and feels like a vintage theater lobby, complete with popcorn, movie-style candy, and even some nostalgic candy selections. It's such a fun touch and definitely makes the restaurant feel different from your typical upscale dining experience. Once you move past the lobby into the restaurant, the atmosphere changes into something very stylish, intimate, and upscale. We were greeted warmly and seated right away. The main dining area is connected to the bar area, which initially threw us off a little because I thought the more tucked away seating toward the back would be the main dining room. That back area is a little more cozy and intimate, with long bench style seating. We decided to remain in the main dining area, and it ended up being perfectly fine. The SERVICE was absolutely top-tier. One thing I really appreciated was how much the staff worked as a team. It wasn't just one server taking care of us. Different staff members would stop by, greet us, check on us, clear things away, and make sure we had everything we needed. You could really tell that providing excellent service is a team effort there. We visited during Houston Restaurant Weeks and took advantage of their special three-course dinner menu benefiting the Houston Food Bank. We had to ask for the Restaurant Weeks menu, so that's something to keep in mind if you're visiting during the promotion. At first, we wondered if the portions might be smaller because it was a special prix-fixe menu, but we were pleasantly surprised. The selections were great, the portions were satisfying, and the FOOD was absolutely delicious! I ordered the short ribs and OH MY GOODNESS. They were incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I would absolutely order them again. My husband ordered the seafood pasta, and of course I had to taste his too. It was delicious! Both entrees were excellent, and the entire meal felt like a true dining experience rather than just dinner. Juliet is also a beautiful place for a date night or special occasion. We came for the hype and left knowing we won't be back. My girls and I decided to finally try Juliet's "Girl Dinner" since we've been seeing it all over social media. Unfortunately, this experience confirmed it'll be our first and last visit. Let's start with parking: There is no self-parking option -- valet is mandatory and costs $20. Even worse, they had us park our own cars, yet still charged full valet price. Half our group had their cars moved for them, the other half did it ourselves. And when it was time to leave, no one retrieved our cars. We had to walk back over to where we originally parked. The restaurant is gorgeous -- the ambiance makes you think you're about to have a luxury dining experience. But once you get past the aesthetics, it feels like they're squeezing every dollar possible out of you. * One of my friends was charged an extra $1 for ice in her already $29 cocktail -- just to get the proper whiskey ice cube. * The $25 Girl Dinner is very misleading. If you don't want the raw oysters, you pay an extra $5 for a tiny handful of sweet chili fried shrimp. * Portions were laughable: two bites of salad, a few forkfuls of Cajun pasta with one shrimp on top, and the included cocktail came in a noticeably smaller glass than their regular drinks. Before my food even arrived, I had to speak with the manager because I ordered a pear sidecar listed as $18. I simply asked for a peach version instead (assuming same price)... only to find out it rang up as $33. No one notified me of the upcharge until I saw the bill. Thankfully, the manager corrected it. To be fair: We were celebrating birthdays and they did bring out custom birthday menus and complimentary cakes with sparklers -- honestly, that was the highlight of the night. Final Verdict: If you're looking for a cute place just to take pictures, Juliet delivers on aesthetics. The space looks like a classic movie theater when you first walk in, with a lobby full of concessions and vintage-style decor, then it opens up into the main bar and restaurant area. We came here for a networking event on a relative slow Thursday night and was treated well to some tastings of appetizers and good service throughout the night. We also saw a few other groups hosting catering events at the same time and food was constantly flowing back to the dining areas.. They have a decent cocktail selection. There also seemed to be some gambling going on in a separate room, not sure what was going on back there. There was a saxophone player playing on and off, mixed in with random pop and country music that provided more liveliness. The bar and restaurant are beautifully decorated, great lighting, velvet curtains.. The bathroom area definitely stood out, with an elegant rose wall and designated photo station. Parking was frustrating and honestly sketchy here.. The lot is shared with several other businesses, and they pretty much all do valet. While there were plenty of open spots, there were guys hanging around asking for money. One asked for $20 for valet, another for $5.. even after we parked the car ourselves. Oh, if you are scared of mannequins do not look to the right when you enter! I was shocked the table appetizer was a bowl of popcorn, but wait there's more, the popcorn flavors rotate so this month was a jalapeño cheese blend and not just the ordinary sprinkle on. The flavor was infused in the popcorn and it had some heat. The meals consisted of salads with bacon-fig dressing, Steak, broccolini complemented by mashed sweet potatoes and Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownie. The broccolini could have been steamed a bit longer and a bit more flavoring added, but that is just my preference. The servers, busser, bartender all moved in a coordinated symphony where none of the dining patrons seem like they had to wait too long. The servers are very attentive to the slightest request. The food overall was very good and of course I had a steak at a steakhouse. Juliet had a set menu because of Valentine's Day but the three course options were excellent choices with something for everyone. My filet was a great quality cut which was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Their specialty cocktails were well made and the wine options were numerous. I look for to my next visit and checking out the full menu in a more relaxing environment. Located in the Galleria area off of Westheimer, they share a parking lot with several other businesses including Chama Gaucha, a Thai massage parlor, and Cafe Europe. It looks like a movie theater from the outside with the classic movie marquee look. From there, they take you to the dining rooms where classic movie posters (e.g. The Godfather, Forrest Gum) adorn the walls. The restaurant is larger than I expected. We sat at the bar. Service (4.5/5): While the restaurant wasn't busy, the bartender took good care of us. He started us off with some complimentary seasoned popcorn (a nice touch) and checked in on us regularly. He also gave us a tour of the restaurant. Food (N/A): We were planning to have dinner afterward so we only had drinks at Juliet. Drinks (4/5): They have an interesting cocktail menu. I went with the carnival margarita which uses cachaca (a Brazilian liqueur). One that you don't find in Houston often so it was a nice treat. A bit pricey for a cocktail but it was done well. My husband and I visited Juliet's for the first time for a Sunday date night on 08/16/2026. We were so excited to try the Houston Restaurant Week Menu to be able to try a variety of items on their menu. The ambiance was nice, and we were seated and waited on in a sufficient amount of time. If I could rate less stars than I would, but the ambience was good but the service was bad, I came to celebrate my birthday and was left with a terrible experience. My server didn't make eye contact when interacting, my boyfriend asked for a drink menu she didn't come back to ask about the drink order. In addition, she checked in other tables around us but did the bare minimum when it came to my table. I came during restaurant week hoping to experience great food and the food was a 6/10 at best. I was recently invited out with a group of people for dinner. Upon arrival during happy hour times (before 6pm) I paid for valet and walked in. Excited to finally be here, I walk in give my name and was immediately told the shoes I had on wasn't acceptable. Now these weren't flip flops, they were dressy fashionable sandals. I had to walk way to my car and pray I had heels in the trunk to enter the restaurant. Now off to the food and drinks. The cocktail menu is PRICEY! So with that I just knew the pours would be good. I ordered the pear sidecar and it was juice. For $18 this was a disappointment. It was steak night and Black restaurant weeks menu so I ordered filet mignon with sides of mashed potatoes and broccolini. That Filet mignon was the worst cut I have ever had. It was fat meat! I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Juliet Restaurant in Houston, TX, and it was indeed a SPLENDID experience from the MOMENT we arrived. The restaurant boasts a sophisticated yet inviting ambiance, providing the perfect setting for a memorable evening. We started our dining experience with the delightful surprise of complimentary spicy popcorn, a unique and flavorful treat we couldn't get ENOUGH of. Its spicy kick and addictively crunchy texture made it a hit throughout the evening, and we found ourselves ordering more and more and more as the night went on. I even packed some to GO! Haha Moving on to the appetizers and entrees, I was thoroughly impressed by the Yukon Potato Mashed. Its incredible smoothness and creamy texture made it the ultimate comfort food. The crispy cauliflower was a revelation, perfectly seasoned, and a delightful contrast between its crispy exterior and super tender interior. The seared broccolini added such a deliciously charred flavor and complemented the other dishes beautifully. However, the star of the show (pun intended [movie theatre]) was undoubtedly the 10 oz Red Snapper. Cooked to perfection, each bite revealed a delicate, flaky texture and a subtly seasoned, crisp skin that delighted the senses. To add a bit of fun to the evening, we revisited the spicy popcorn between courses, enjoying its delightful kick and satisfying crunch. For refreshments, I savored a visually stunning and delicious mocktail that perfectly enhanced the meal's flavors. It was sweet and mouth-watering. I ordered 2 of them throughout the evening and sipped sloooowly. The service at Juliet Restaurant was imPECcable - attentive, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making my birthday celebration memorable. As a delightful surprise, the staff presented a complimentary birthday cake: a decadent brownie cake adorned with a sparkler. The sparkler added a humorous and slightly hair-raising moment as we tried to blow it out, creating both a anxious and amusing highlight to the evening. Lol Wait! I CANNOT forget the rose wall in the bathroom area! Undoubtedly, the talk of the town! EVERYone must take the obligatory bathroom pic...but this time it's a whole movie with excellent lighting!
