This is a fast and casual burger join in the neighborhood. Easy parking in the plaza. You can order at the counter and find a seat. They also have a breakfast menu along with sandwiches and burger combos. I tried their specialty, the Mytiburger. It was delish, meat was tender. Everyone in my party also enjoyed their meal. We didn't have any issue dinning in as a big group. The service was quick and friendly. read more

The old school charm that Mytiburger (#1) exudes is appealing for a number of reasons: a retro interior frozen in time, prices that feel like foodflation never happened, and a simple, no pretense approach to comfort food. It hasn't been an easy road since the business began nearly 60 years ago. Current owner Shawn Salyers, made a plea on social media nearly 2 years ago that his business was on the brink of closing, which eventually went viral. For days the restaurant was packed with lines out the door, and the hype was enough for me to give it a try for myself. I wasn't disappointed and have been back several times since. The food is hardly glamorous and the presentation leaves lots to be desired. But in its visual flaws, there is a certain beauty to its simplicity, and this is perfectly captured in its Mytiburger classic burger. A signature beef patty with mustard, pickles, onion, with mustard and ketchup, there's absolutely nothing fancy about it. Throw in a cheese add-on with fries and it's a solid meal. Then there are the other options: chili cheese fries, stuffed jalapenos, and homemade onion rings. These all serve as quality complements to an otherwise otherwise hearty meal. Breakfast should not be slept on either, since their hash browns are crispy and buttery and has become a must-eat portion of my rotation. The service is friendly but not always efficient. Expectations should never be too significant, so keep it realistic. Cash only is better than credit card, and parking is rarely an issue. Given the state of eateries and the public outcry for slim margins and thin profits, I do hope for more success of this location and its other sister location. __________ (#1) Mighty burger. read more

Myti burger as a kid I shared soo many memories here, I enjoyed coming back to my roots, but I must say the restaurant needs a upgrade. The mytiburger I knew always smelled like good food, but now it seems much hasn't happened since I moved on and traveled which saddens me. I think it's time for an upgrade with new appliances and the kitchen deep freezer is just unacceptable. The works smoke cigarettes, which lingers the smell in mighty burger. I enjoyed the food overall, but I do feel like it's a bit skeptical coming from a person. That's really skeptical about eating at certain restaurants. The freshness is all that matter, maybe burger please upgrade the restaurant experience and grow as a company and quit being cheap. read more

Old school burger place, it is so old that they don't have a handicap friendly entrance and restroom. They have a very simple menu. The restaurant feels like it is stuck in the 90s. When your food is ready, you go back to the counter and pick up the food yourself! The burgers are good, it has the nostalgia flavor. read more

The neighborhood hamburger joint, iykyk. It's a basic hamburger & fries. I've seen the owners go snatch up fries that were given to somebody on accident. The workers sometimes bring their kids to work so they'll be hanging. All good. Like I said it's the neighborhood spot. read more

Cute little hole-in-the-wall burger joint. I used to come here when I worked in the office. Service was fast and friendly. I was at Mytiburger few weeks ago for a meetup gathering. I ordered a patty melt. It tasted so yummy. The decor reminded me of 70's. I don't think it's been updated since. I would return simply because of the prices. Everything is affordable here. read more

Service was ok. Loved that it has that taste of a home cooked meal. Portions are good as well, I just wished the place was a bit more clean. Mytiburger has recently been making it's rounds on local and social media outlets looking for a little help from the community. Like many other locally owned businesses, they were not immune to the pandemic and economy slowing down business. A group of fellow foodie friends and I came here to check it out for ourselves. Mytiburger is on the corner of a busy intersection and has plenty of parking. Walking in, I felt like I was in an old diner with the way it looked and felt. Absolutely nothing wrong with a little charm and character. The little interaction I had with the staff was good. Everyone was friendly and quick. The menu had some variety to it. We arrived around lunch time, but it seemed like their breakfast was the popular item. I almost pivoted from lunch to breakfast, but decided to go with that I came to try. Per usual, I went with a pretty basic burger for my first try. I ordered a Bacon Mytiburger with fries and a fountain drink. The wait wasn't long, and the food was hot and fresh. At first glance it looked like a substantial burger, but upon close inspection, the bun was thick and the burger patty was somewhat on the thin side. That being said, throw another patty on there and this burger would've been perfect. The meat was seasoned to perfection and all the toppings were fresh. It had a wonderful, homecooked taste about it. The bacon gave it an extra pop of flavor as well. The fries were pretty plain. It could've used a toss with some seasoning but they do have those options on the table. It seemed like the rest of the crew liked their food as well. What I also loved about this spot was the super affordable prices. I thought my meal was a bargain. I guarantee I would've have paid quite a bit more for something similar at any other burger chain restaurant. I would definitely come back if in the area. read more

The building itself is a little worse for wear but I was very pleasantly surprised with my meal. Just got a 1/2 lb burger combo with bacon and cheese. Everything was great, fast, and VERY affordable. My bill was $10 for everything, in 2025 that is a rarity, in fact it's less than you'd pay at McDonalds for a similar combo. The fries were crinkly which is a bonus, and the burger was fresh, hot and flavorful. I'll absolutely be back to try the breakfast and other menu options. I'm very glad I dropped in! Quite literally the thinnest burger patty I've ever had, I couldn't even tell it was there at first. The side of onion rings came with 5 rings. The grilled chicken sandwich was soggy from mayo. I understand it is cheap but come on. read more

Convenient and affordable, but mediocre food. I live around the corner and I've tried Mytiburger out a handful of times but have never really been impressed. Today my burger was cold and the meat was not high quality, but it was cheap and convenient and my kids enjoyed their kids meal hotdog. I wouldn't go on a normal day, but it always comes in handy on inclement weather days. read more

Mytiburger - a hamburger and onion rings on a table - Fast Food Near Me - Houston, Texas

I've been going here since I was a kid in the early 2000s. My grandma and grandpa would bring me here for breakfast every Saturday and some Sundays. I'd always get the mytibreakfast. I'm more of a biscuits and gravy person now. I now live in the area myself at a much older age. My grandma and grandpa are no longer here. I went in for pure nostalgia and was just thoroughly impressed with how NOTHING has changed in like 20 years. It's a classic spot for me and I can't be appreciative enough for staying consistent for so long! Can't speak on their burgers too much as I haven't had one in years but their breakfast is still fantastic. I'll come here soon for a burger. read more

Great food, friendly service and the old school ambiance of a great diner. I wish it was closer.

Rude staff. No hair nets or mask worn by any of the employees. The person preparing the food had no gloves on. I saw raw chicken and beef both handled without washing hands. BIG cross contamination. Be warned!!!! P.S. I've worked for companies that inspect restaurants and food handling services. I can't help but notice these things. read more

If I could give this place a "0" I would. Just had the worst experience at Mytiburger. They got my order wrong yesterday, and when they told me to come back today, the owner refused to correct my order because yesterday's cook was not there to verify. Mind you, I asked to speak with the owner yesterday and leave my name, but he wouldn't come to the phone. He then asked the teenage cashier to call the cook at home. Why couldn't he (the owner) honor what his employee told me. He also asked why I didn't keep the wrong sandwich I received (I asked for a burger and I got a chicken sandwich) and bring it in the next day. Is this a new thing?! I should have known better when I walked in and saw that the mop was black and the water in the bucket was dark gray. I had been coming there since I was in middle school, but never again. read more

check this local place out! It was very delicious and the staff was friendly. I got a burger and fries and a soda!

The food was very good and tasty and the service was good this is one of the best food I hade

Great food. Low prices. Always served fresh and hot. This place is light years better than any fast-food burger place out there. It's a guilty pleasure for me for sure. Get the combo and add bacon, cheese, and jalapenos. You will not regret it. read more

Good customer service & clean restaurant. The burger was hot and cooked to order, just lacked flavor and did not seem to be fresh ground beef. Tasted like a pre-packaged warmed up patty from the grill. The fries were hot and fresh and pretty decent. read more

I would have given 4 but it's super inconvenient to order food. Every single time my husband and I have called to do a phone order, someone picks up the phone and then hangs up. It sucks because they have good food and we want to give them more of our business but who has time to order and sit and wait outside the business for 30 min while the food is being cooked. Also the hours are wrong they open at 6:30 so idk why it says they open at 9:00 online. read more

Enjoyed this place. It was clean and the service was fast and friendly. The burger was tasty. I got the half pounder burger without cheese. The veggies loaded into the sandwich were also fresh. It is what it is for the price. The worker at the register was pretty pleasant to us. I could see the cook using frozen fries and I assumed the patties were prepackaged frozen patties. We got a mytiburger combo and mytiburger jr combo and it came to $13 and a few cents. It wasn't terrible for cheap food. However, I won't be running back. I didn't like the burger not being season and so thin. The fries were fine. read more

Breakfast is always delicious. Gravy is full of flavor. Biscuits are fluffy and buttery. You can't beat 2 eggs, 2 bacons, and 2 pancakes for $3.99. Home cooking at a great price. For lunch/dinner, the fries are your standard thick cut, Sysco fries-not bad but not amazing. However the burgers and treasure chest are totally worth it! read more

This place is horrible food taste like garbage the employees are rude asf they need to remodel

I swung by for dinner earlier this week. I have eaten here before but it's been a few years and I don't frequent this area often. I ordered their 1/2 lb. burger with fries and a soft drink. It was a slow night as there were only 4 other diners in the restaurant. The food came out about 10 minutes later. The burger was big, dressed well and a solid eat. The 1/2 lb. of meat consisted of two 1/4 lb. patties. I liked the sandwich and rated it as a 3.5. The fries however disappointed me as they were your basic non descript French fry that was boring and unfortunately is found at so many restaurants (2). Getting on my soap box for a minute I don't understand why so many restaurants like this that have french fries as such an important part of the menu don't put a little more time and effort into serving better fries...hand cut, double fried, skin on fries, etc. there are too many hamburger, po boy, fried fish, etc. restaurants that serve fries with the meal that skimp on the quality of fries. To me it is a very important part of the meal. Ok, one minute has passed.... I understand that Mytiburger is somewhat of a Houston institution. Like I said my burger was good and I would order it again. It looks like breakfast is popular here also. Another observation I had was that while this restaurant is old and a little worn, it is kept clean. The cashier who took my order was diligently cleaning in her off time which impressed me. read more

***HORRIBLE ***** I'm not understanding. All the employees use one glove , what it looks like only the right hand , and the left hand is bare. (No glove) and they grab the knife with whatever condiment you choose with the right hand (gloved) and then grab your burger bun with the left hand (ungloved) then they spread the condiment. Place the bun back on the stove top or placemat . Then they grab the bacon and other toppings with the left hand (ungloved) . Not one employee but all employees are doing this and the owner is not even wearing gloves to prepare food. And also they all have a bad habit of wiping there hands on either their apron or their uniform . And then when no food is being prepared they clean up the restaurant which is part of the job. I think ya get the point. And I haven't seen one person wash their hands. I was towards the middle/ end of my meal when I noticed this. So I stayed to watch other people's food get prepared. Hoping it was just a mistake but it wasn't this is how they work. The owner is very rude to employees . read more

They need a drive thru so they can have more business. The mytiburger is better than whataburger hands down. Add a couple of french fries and ketchup inside it and then cut it in half.
