Fast service, ramen is good but not spectacular. The tonkatsu red broth is super salty, moreso than expected. Just having it cool down a bit revealed just how salty it was, and it was a bit too much for me. We tried to order spice level 10, but the servers were like "are you sure? It's VERY spicy. We'd recommend against it." So we ended up ordering spice level 8, which was a level of spice that was a bit too uncomfortable for me, but was a good level for my mom. The kara-men was very good though. Rich, packed full of flavor, and yet not too salty like the tonkatsu red broth. I fully enjoyed it and am glad that I was able to try it since it was limited edition. Ambiance is nice, they have good decor and the overall vibe was very cool and trendy. Unfortunately, the food is just decent to me, and the prices for the food just weren't great in my opinion. The advertisement for the tonkatsu red ramen caught my eye (and probably most others because it was the largest advertisement on the menu), but the dish was overall disappointing. I really want to give a shout out to the wonderful staff here at Jinya. These wonderful staff have made my best friend's birthday wonderful. I wanted to bring my best friend to a special place for her birthday And I personally want to say she was not disappointed whatsoever. The moment we came through those doors they made sure we were taken care of. My best friend had ordered the shrimp ramen and I had the chicken ramen.And it was the best we've tasted in so long. It wasn't even loud it was actually quiet Without a lot of people being there. And as a birthday gift they provided my best friend A birthday flan with a mochi with Happy birthday written in Chocolate. We usually enjoy the food at JINYA. This was our first time at this location. The Boa pork bun was drenched in mayo and lacked flavor. We were hesitant to eat it. The pork tasted old. Only 1 person out of our party of 4 ate their dish because he was hungry. Everyone else boxed their food, then trashed it once we made it home. I ordered the JINYA Tonkotsu Black ramen. I met my hunny here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. There was lots of seeing available and all the staff were super welcoming as I walked in the door. Lit up but not to the point that it was too bright, nor too dark. Lots of natural light. We ordered the crispy chicken and pork gyoza appetizers. Chefs freaking kiss for both!!! I ordered the build your own ramen bowl while my boyfriend ordered the spicy chicken bowl. Now if I'm being honest....the ramen was just ok. The brother needed A LOT more seasoning. It was really bland. I added soy sauce which helped some. I wouldn't order the ramen again but I'd sit at the bar and drink and eat some appetizers definitely. This place was yummy! I love ramen this would be my top 3 on the list of places for ramen. Egg, pork, seaweed, spinach and noodles complemented each other and went well all together! I was super hungry and finished the whole bowl which is rare for me to do. Service was great! The young lady was attentive and friendly! We got there early in the morning so it quiet and calming. They do have a patio but I like my A/C so my butt stayed inside LOL! I will say if you get a soda they charge you for refills which is weird to me. I enjoyed the ramen. I got the Red Ramen, and mistakenly got level 1 spicy meaning it was not red. I then asked for the red sauce for level 5 and it was super spicy. I got 3 red balls and put 2 of them in, and it was plenty hot. All in all, the taste is there, but the serving size isn't huge and it's also around $17-$18, which I understand but these days I feel it's too much to charge for any noodles. First time here, our server Mindy took exceptional care to explain the menu and assist us in ordering. Had the original tokatsu, spicy level two with an extra egg. The hubs and I shared the spicy tuna and salmon cones which looked super intriguing. I ordered the JINYA tonkotsu black while he ordered the suan la tsukemen. The cones were interesting as it was stuffed with tuna. The few salmon pieces were laid on top. These miniature cones were unique looking. And I suppose you're paying more for the visual presentation than the portion. These were good, but it's like 3 bites and done and gone. My JINYA tonkotsu pick was classical and delicious. The pork bone broth was rather delightful and tasty on a cold evening. It was flavorful but not super salty. There was a good body to the broth. The pork chashu was good and infused with lovely garlic notes. This pick came with thin noodles; there's one with thicker noodles but also a bit more calories. The hub's suan la tsukemen was under the chef's special which was super interesting as a dipping noodle. The curry-looking sauce was flavorful and had a slight kick. Stopped in on a weekday to grab something different for lunch and tried this delicious spicy chicken ramen. Not pictured: spicy bean sprouts and bok choy. The thing I love about JINYA is you know you are always going to consistently have delicious food. I've been to multiple locations throughout the metro Atlanta area and have yet to be disappointed. This particular location is the one I tend to go to the most since it's the closest. Servers are great. Atmosphere is very lively and fun. Definitely fun to sit closer to where the chefs are making the bowls so you can watch them. Ramen here has always been spot on. Fresh ingredients, and the noodles are nice and bouncy. I also love all the appetizers they have. The baos are some of my favorite. I also love their corn and jalapeño. They have a great kids meals if you have a little ones. Easy to place the order online and they must've been FAST because I was right on time for my order, but by the time I made the 5 minute drive to the hotel it was already cold. No microwave in the room so some cold noodles were mine. Flavors were good, seasoned egg was cooked really nice, but soup was a little greasy. Overall just ok to go experience. The food here was just awesome when we went. It was a rainy day so ramen was perfect given the weather conditions. I got the jinya tonkatsu black. I think that the flavors were well balanced with a pleasant soup base. The egg was probably the best thing though because it had the runny yolk that elevated the soup broth. I also got the impossible tacos which were good. I'm not a big fan on the "impossible" items generally, but it was recommended and it wasn't bad. The impossible component was definitely seasoned well but I thought it was a little too salty, but when you had the guac or avocado with it they blended well and created a balanced bite. The spicy creamy shrimp was really good. I loved that it retained the crunchy texture after being tossed in sauce. It gave a sriracha spicy mayo flavor, but it was graciously covered in sauce and I wasn't complaining. When I went, I was seated at the bar and shout out to the bartender/waitress. She was super tentative and gave great recommendations. I wanted something light and refreshing and got the watermelon delight. Got a couple drinks and it was a great evening. The restaurant gives off a nice ambiance with dimmed lights. I think the rain took away some of the natural lighting, but it was the evening so the lighting was fitting. I felt like the restaurant layout seems long in the sense that upon enter you have a couple tables and mainly just bar seating, but upon walking to the back it opens up to another room/dining area. Service was good and ramen was tasty but broth was much more fatty than normal when we visited last weekend. There was a thick layer of oil on top of the broth. Yikes! They continue to increase their prices...now it is $16+ for a bowl of noodle. We understand the price increase but dislike that they shrink the portion as well...there was only two small, thin, bite-size pork/chashu that came with the ramen (vs. the nice, big, thick pieces before). We ate at this modern unimposing Ramen Bar yesterday. As you walk in, there is seating for large parties, but as you go into the other room, there is intimate seating for two and four people. Jillian was our server. She was very efficient and our food was served quickly. My throat had a bit of a tickle so I tried some broth... best decision ever. I ate it with my rice and chicken and immediately started feeling better. I highly recommend the chicken Chashu. It was so good! We will be back! read more

Corn tempura was an utter disappointment it's kernal chunks cut from the cob so you get very small varying sized pieces and a stalk of brocolini. Really hard to justify $6.80 for that where the 5 pc wings were the same price. Yikes Jinya. Rework that dish. Kaedama came out with the rest of the ramen when I asked to have it come after. So it was a hard stuck lump. Tonkotsu black broth could use more flavor honestly. Definitely need some work too. Our waters weren't refilled either. read more

A driver never came for pick up until 4:53pm and delivered quickly by 5:17pm (its a 15 min drive to my house). Which means it sat for over 30 min. Not good. Jinya is consistently good food. You really can't go wrong with anything here. My personal favorites are the Jinya bun, takoyaki, and the Jinya Tonkatsu Black with thick noodles instead of thin. Their pork is tender and juicy, broth is creamy and full of depth, and their noodles are cooked perfectly. The takoyaki is crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The only thing is that they never bring appetizers/small plates out before the main course. Every time I come here and get small plates, the ramen will come out first. Staff here are all very nice! I sat at the bar, the bartender was friendly and recommended the Spicy Vegan Ramen since I no longer eat meat. Y'all...that ramen was fire! I was surprised by how flavorful the broth was, right amount of heat & veggies, it's my new favorite. I ALWAYS get the Tonkotsu Original 2010 and I haven't been disappointed. The pictured is with chicken instead of pork, a side of sprouts and bok choy. The gyoza is tasty though I didn't get it this time. The lychee martini was ok, I asked for extra shot to put in and it was the same price as the drink itself which I was a bit ehh about. Jinya is probably my favorite place for ramen, and when I heard they opened up a new location closer to me--yes pleaseee! There is plenty of parking, outdoor seating and lots of group tabletop style seating indoors. Warning: it could be awkward sharing a table with other couples. The menu is all on a QR code, which you scan from your phone camera. WiFi password was Ramen123. Don't ask me how I know. I always go for the salmon poke tacos to start off with; they're small, but so good. I need to figure out the recipe. They have happy hour specials on these, so go during those times to save a few bucks or cents on a few menu items. I got the Jinya Tonkatsu Black and it was good. My fiancé got the Premium Red and asked for spice level 7. (It's a $1 charge if you go over level 6) and he did say it was pretty spicy after taking the first few bites. I don't know how he handles spicy food. Even our server, Noah, warned him about it. I think the only thing I disliked about my experience was how loud the music was over the speakers. Went to this Jinya's location to try it out with a friend. This location was definitely a new one for me though so knowing Jinya and having it at their other locations, I knew what I was in for. For the appetizer I got an order of takoyaki. It was good, my memories of it was always a solid choice. If you've never had takoyaki it's grilled octopus wrapped in a deep fried batter. For the main, I got the red premium ramen. I thought it was funny because our waiter asked what spice level and they said the spice level went to 1-10 but after 3 it's pretty much extremely spicy. I thought that was absolutely hilarious. Through the advice of the waiter, I decided to just get a spice level of 2. It was pretty good, I have to say though the food came out quickly and it was tasty. I would have to say the spice level was not too spicy so that was a plus. I think this sort of spice is not what you're thinking. There's not really any taste to the spiciness, it's just spicy. I hate that type of spiciness, so I would really take that into consideration if you want to get a spicy dish and they ask you what spice level. Overall, Jinya is Jinya. I've had better ramen, but still a very solid spot to get your ramen craving satisfied. The service was great though and our waiter was awesome. First time to this Jinya location and I have to say the food was good! It was definitely a ramen type of night, due to how cold it has been lately. Our server Nicholas was great as well and very attentive, even when having to serve multiple tables. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the bathrooms. My partner mentioned to me that there was no soap in the bathrooms, which is a cause for concern, especially during the cold season and the fact that there should always be soap in the bathroom to take care of basic human needs. read more

Baby let me tellllll you about this place. I visited this location a good few weeks ago but my experience still remains the same as I haven't been back since. Today is Tuesday, June 18th, 2024. My visit was the night of March 31st, 2024, on a Friday. I had ordered take out since I showed up right before closing. I ordered maybe 3 Jinya buns, the pork gyoza, tempura fried brussel sprouts, another sort of steamed bun called nikuman, and ramen. Hadn't eaten all day so I was looking forward to this. The night of my visit, my fiancé and I shared everything but the pork gyoza and the ramen. She had none. I finished them all. The ramen didn't get touch until the next day. The next day is also when I fell sick. I was able to sleep through the night but around 6:00 am my stomach was GRIPPING. I ended up vomiting not too long after and had to call out of work due to me being sick. I called up to the restaurant just to get refunded for what I believed had made me sick and the manager Diego gave me the complete run around. Took down my information only to follow up with telling me that j needed to get a doctor's note to prove that I got sick from their restaurant. Which makes ZERO sense. My personal medical records or medical history shouldn't have to be provided just for a $6-$7 refund. I then asked him if I would be compensated for the doctor's visit that I would have to make in order to obtain this medical proof just to get my refund andddd he acted like he didn't know. Told me that his general manager wasn't in town and that they would be following up. Almost 3 weeks later, no follow up, and I did not go to the doctor because I was better by the next day so there was nothing to prove if the issue is no longer in my system. In conclusion, this location is ass, service outside of the host stand is subpar, and you'd be better off going to the Alpharetta location on Broad St. or the Atlanta location on Roswell Rd. choose wisely. read more
