Ewww The food taste like shxt and not fresh at all . After we told them don't make it too spicjy they still make it too spicy .Me and my friend came here and we ordered a seafood soups . The front waitress and the owner is very rude to us and they don't know any English at all . As you can tell we barely even eat this disgusting soup and we paid $40 for this when we ask the manager if they can give us discount because we don't like the food at all . The manager came speak to us : no we can't give you discount there is nothing wrong with the soup . All other customer said okay .they gave us f attitude and said no no discount . And it's ridiculous the first time she give me the bill she even charge me the beer which we ordered and she never bring to us . I hope you all close soon I'm totally disgusted by the way you treat customer .

Todahmgol is a great place to get Korean bar food and Korean drinks and it's perfect whether you want to just come here for drinks or just food. Tohdamgol used to be one of those Korean authentic food restaurants that's been around for the longest time. They did some rebranding and they're now more commonly known as Todam -- in an attempt to attract for young folks. They redid the entire interior and changed up their entire menu. If you like KBBQ, they have an AYCE option for $29.99, which comes with a variety of meats, but we wanted something light so we decided to order some anjoo off the a la carte menu. We ordered seafood scallion pancakes, seafood nooroongji tang and some makgeolli for our night. The food here is honestly really good and it really makes you crave alcohol. The seafood scallion pancake (pajeon) was a little thick and definitely on the doughy side -- they added peppers in there to give it that extra kick and it was really good. Unfortunately, I had dinner before I came so I couldn't have more than one piece but it was still good nonetheless. The seafood nooroongji tang was also deep in flavor with plenty of seafood and pieces of nooroongji. I am a huge fan of this dish and it's hard for it to be bad... and Todam didn't disappoint. Both dishes paired really well with the makgeolli and I had an enjoyable experience. Service here is usually always excellent and I like coming here when I want to avoid the crowds at Glam or Hanshin. Overall -- I had a great time and I can't wait to be back!

Food is good! It is a little hard to order if you don't read or speak Korean. I came here mainly for the dak galbi.. but I think they ran out of stoves. I wasn't too impressed by the service or the food. Definitely delicious, we ended up getting the dak galbi precooked in the kitchen and pig trotters. I wish they allowed us to add more topping.. but the pig was a hugee portion, we could not finish it at all. This is definitely a more traditional Korean restaurant. I would recommend with caution because of ability order food and the food being just decent.. not amazing.

This is my favorite all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurant, especially, when I have a late night craving. They close at 2am, which is perfect for a night owl like me. Just a warning, most of their dishes are spicy. That is another reason why I love this place. The side dishes such as kimchi, tofu soup, and dipping sauce are very spicy and flavorful. Their AYCE is $19.99 per person, and has great meat selections such as pork belly (samgyeopsal), pork neck, pork shoulder, beef ribs and beef intestines ( if you are adventurous). They also have a dinner set that includes soju and grill meat ranging from $38.99 to $48.99. I also love their cold noodle soups (Mul Naengmyeon). It is perfect for hot summer days or just to complement the spicy and savory bbq meat. The service here is excellent. Our server was very attentive and kept re-filling our side dishes. I prefer coming during weekday nights. There are less people and they usually cook the meat for you.

I came to order to-go. They treated us so nicely with this plate. I love all the food and the vibes here.

Cafe Todahmgol is as authentic as it gets. So authentic that you won't find an English menu in here and most, if not all, of the servers only speak Korean. So, if you don't know Korean, it's probably best to come to this restaurant with someone who does or come prepared with some ideas of food you'd like to order. Or, you can do what we did, which was just point at the small pictures of the menu items on the wall. Cafe Todahmgol gets packed on weekend nights. When they are busy, the service is really slow because they don't staff enough people to handle peak demand. The restaurant is small and cozy. The tables along the walls have built-in grills and can handle groups of six or so. The booths on the inside are tiny and are designed for no more than four people. Seating is rather snug. I came with a party of five and we ordered several dishes and shared. We got a good sampling of what this place has to offer, including: Korean BBQ beef and pork belly Seafood pancake with oysters, squid, green beans, and other veggies Hog knuckles with pickled radish, daikon, pumpkin, and other veggies Blood sausage, pork liver, and pork tongue Overall, the food was pretty good. The restaurant was skimpy on the banchan (Korean side dishes), though. The banchan consisted of a variety of pickled vegetables, such as bean sprouts, cucumber, jalapenos, radishes, daikon, and burdock root. These were replenished once before our entrees came out. The banchan and entrees came out one at a time because our table was too small to hold everything (not surprising when eating Korean). First to come out was the BBQ beef and pork belly. These were cooked at our table on a propane-fired iron skillet that was tilted so the grease could drain into a small container. This method of cooking Korean BBQ is common. Atlanta area restaurants such as Iron Age, Dong Neh Bang Neh, and Harm Heung Cold Noodle employ this method as well. I thought the quality of both the beef and pork belly was good. They were tasty and savory. The beef was lean and the pork belly was not overly fatty. The beef and pork belly were accompanied with a bowl of dressed lettuce and greens and two seasonings. I thought the meat tasted just fine without the optional seasonings. The server placed kimchi at the base of the skillet, where all the grease was flowing. The kimchi was OK, more stalky than leafy, and not too sour. The BBQ also came with one small bowl of Korean steamed egg casserole. Not bad, but when split among five people, I think we each got two bites at most. The seafood pancake was huge. It came out piping hot and had oysters, squid, green beans, broccoli, and other stuff inside of it. The egg was fluffy. However, the pancake was relatively bland and we thought it would have done well with some sort of sauce. No jalapenos or peppers in this pancake (some Korean restaurants like to spice theirs up). The hog knuckle dish was gigantic. There were several slices of hog knuckle (boneless) and they were tender and flavorful. This dish reminded me a lot of the Chinese Sichuan "husband and wife lung slice" dish because of it's consistency, flavor, and similar ingredients. Don't let the names scare you as this stuff is really good. The hog knuckles were accompanied with lettuce, pickled radish, daikon, jalapenos, onion, and pumpkin. The staff forgot about our blood sausage order, so we had to remind them. Korean blood sausage is made out of pork intestine, rice, and congealed pig blood. Similar to European black pudding, it looked like a dark, giant sliced hot dog. The sausage was accompanied with slices of pork liver and pork tongue and a spicy sauce and seasoning. While it may not be for everyone, I thought the blood sausage was delicious (I'm also a fan of black pudding and haggis). It was full of flavor and every bite was satisfying. The pork liver, on the other hand, was bad and my tablemates agreed. It was way too dry, but I think that's the way Koreans like it. The pork tongue was passable. Because we couldn't read Korean, we didn't know how much any of the dishes cost until the end. And even then, our itemized receipt didn't say what was what. My guess to the pricing is the BBQ beef and pork belly were $16.95 each, seafood pancake $9.95, hog knuckles $28.95, and blood sausage $9.95. If you are interested in just BBQ, the restaurant does offer an all-you-can-eat option, a la Iron Age, and I don't think it's much more expensive than a single order of BBQ. Cafe Todahmgol is located next door to and in the same strip mall as What the Pho. If you are facing What the Pho, Cafe Todahmgol is on the right. It's easy to get Todahmgol confused with another "Cafe" in this shopping center.

I'm giving this 4 stars because it's the only place I've been able to find dalkgalbi (spicy stir fried chicken). This is by far my most favorite korean dish and I can't believe it's taken me this long to find it, although I did give up after searching for a while. After another google search I landed upon this place and was here within a week. Service: I think they were a little surprised to see my friend and I walk in. That didn't bother me. The waiter did speak English but I'm not sure about the fluency level. Our server didn't speak English at all I don't think. I've lived in Korea so o wasn't bothered by the language barrier. (I know very limited Korean). We ordered dalkglabi, cold noodles and a seafood pancake. The cold noodles were just okay. I should've ordered the spicy cold noodles. They did help to cut the spice of the chicken though. The dalkgalbi was soooo delicious. Not nearly as good as my favorite place in Gangnam, Seoul but for Duluth, GA it was pretty dang great. It was just the right level of spicy for me but my friend thought it was almost unbearable. That didn't stop her from eating it though. The seafood pancake was also delicious. Probably the best I've had here (in GA). It was so crispy, filled with seafood chunks and just perfection. My friend has only had korean bbq a few times which I of course got her into but she loved this! Of course I couldn't eat korean chicken without something cold to wash it down so we ordered a few bottles of my favorite korean beer Hite! The bill was surprisingly low. It was only about $50 and I expected it to be at least $70 or more. I can't wait to back!

This place is amazing! My boss had recommended me to come for cheap KBBQ, it is cheap, 19.99 per person. When me and my friend got in, we found out most customers in the store are korean, which means this place is quite a famous place between Koreans. Their meat taste awesome, the only thing I feel disappointed is the meat is too thick, I cannot try out everything in the menu because I had chew too much and my jaw hurt after trying 2-3 different meat. The staff are really nice too.

I came in at 1:25am and they informed me and my friend that they were closing. The place was still bustling (it was a Friday night/Saturday morning?) and I was puzzled at why we couldn't be seated since there were plenty of tables that were filled AND a couple more tables empty. I would have understood their concern if it was near closing time, but since there was 30-35 minutes left I'm kind of NOT digging this. Don't advertise that you close at 2am if you don't...I was raving at how awesome this place is, but I will definitely take my business (and recommendation to dine at this place) elsewhere.

My partner and I came in around roughly 9:50-10pm. When we arrived we're were initially informed that we had to order soon because they were closing in 30 minutes and were understandings of that. Shortly after we were seated, (literally 1-2 minutes) about 3 employees came to our table letting us know we needed to order within the next few minutes. It was like 10:05. I tried asking one of the employee what the meat options were and was just interrupted by him being persistent in us ordering and did not really answer our questions, mainly because I noticed some of the meat options were pork and I do not consume pork for personal reasons. My partner and I felt overwhelmed and just ordered something we thought would not include pork. After submitting our order another employee came by with the check already without us asking insisting for us to pay before our food even came out. Mind you the restaurant closed within 20 minutes at this point. When our food did come out, it did contain PORK!!! We just left shortly afterwards and left the food on the table.

I was absolutely obsessed with the smell of this restaurant before I even went in! I appreciated them, giving us two grills, and the staff actually cook the meat for you. I wish I was sitting more towards the left grill because whoever cooked the pork belly on that side made sure the flame was hot enough and it cooked the pork thoroughly while also making it crispy on the outside. In front of me, the griller did not make the heat high enough so it took a while for the pork to be fully cooked. She told us it was done and it was still kind of chewy so I kept swapping back-and-forth from the left grill onto this one. That's the only reason why I gave it a four instead of a five out of five was because I did not like the way they cooked part of our pork. It was so chewy the fat was not cooked at all, but it was an easy fix. I just had to cook it longer on the other grill but again we shared two grills between eight people so 1/2 of our group got to eat more than us. I like how the pork doesn't have a really strong, pork smell, and it tasted very good like it was seasoned properly. I absolutely love the kimchi! I love how this restaurant stays open pretty late so we can enjoy eating and drinking. It's such a nice casual place to hang out. For dessert, we had kimchi fried rice haha. This time, I brought my friend who has never had Korean bbq before for her to try. We went right when it opened so it was quiet. I told the server it was her first time and he was eager to explain everything to her. I don't think she was prepared at all what was about to grace our table He brought out a cart full of side dishes and start to explain what each one is along with the flavor profile. When he got to the scallion salad, she was just not loving it, but he told her to at least try and see what she thinks (don't knock it til you try it!) Then he said they're still getting the charcoal ready so it'll be a few more minutes and my friend's eyes just (like what?) So we start with trying a bite of all the sides. She enjoyed everything except the sliced onion salad. Surprisingly, she loved everything else, including the scallion salad! She's a texture eater, so I was weary of her trying the tofu, but she really enjoyed that too! So... the charcoal comes out, and she's just Then the server brings the grill with the cheesy corn, spicy bean sprout, and he poured in the eggs. Followed by the meats! Since she didn't really know what she likes, I made a few suggestions and the server suggests letting him bring us the most popular items first and we can work our way through the menu. What a great idea!! Started with brisket and ribeye and wow ... meats were fresh, paired with the sides, and the dipping sauces, it's just chef's kiss!! We then had bulgogi and pork belly and those were just bursting with flavor! The cheesy corn was good but burned too fast on the grill, the spicy bean sprouts are amazing, and the steam egg is my favorite . The only downside is that if you don't eat those sides that are cooking on the grill right away they'll turn dry and burned and it won't be as good. The cheesy corn also caused some splattering to our hands when we were cooking the meats. The server apologized for the oil splattering since he heard the squeal immediately soak up the oil from the cheesy corn so the splattering would stop. Overall, my friend gave it 10/10!!!
