This was the first place I tried a bao bun, and still the best so far in terms of the texture of the steamed bun itself. The pork chasu inside was also well braised and flavorful. However, my favorite menu item was the salmon poke tacos. I could eat them all day. The flavors were so well balanced, and vibrant and the wonton shells were perfectly crisped. I did like the brussel sprout tempura, but it wouldn't be my top option for a vegetable tumpura. It's not something I'd order again. The crispy chicken was well seasoned and tender, but not unlike any other restaurant that serves ramen. It's worth a try if you haven't had it though. The real disappointment, in my opinion, was the tonkatsu ramen broth itself. It was simply lacking in flavor. read more

Let me preface this by saying I have visited the Sandy Springs location and love the food here so this review isn't for the food. I visited and it was the middle of the day so there were very few people in the restaurant. Maybe 4 including myself. I also felt that the hostess was annoyed with me from the moment I walked in but I understand that customer service jobs can be difficult so I didn't really mind. I was seated in the back room at a table up against the wall which I found strange because there were many seats but I didn't question it. I was also asked if I had a seating preference so I should've spoken up but I'm a generally timid person. I ordered my food and got my water. Maybe 2 minutes later I was on my phone and looked up and there was a HUGE cockroach on the floor walking towards my foot. I got up and told my waiter. here was little to no concern showed and another employee said "Just seat her literally anywhere else" I also had to help them find and kill it. Nobody said anything to me like "we apologize" or offered any type of gesture to seem as though they were phased which in my opinion is a red flag. I then said that I wanted to cancel my order and the waiter seemed annoyed and (this is my mistake) I just told them to make the order to go. Again, I notified the hostess and she just said "oh". I payed (another mistake on my part but the overall atmosphere of no sympathy made me feel as though if I didn't it would be an issue) and threw my food out as soon as I got outside. I wish I could say I was comfortable enough with both the service and the experience to have tried the food but unfortunately I will not be returning. I also wasted $28 dollars. read more

My new go-to ramen spot! I've been to other Jinya locations in the past, but this new location close to home will definitely have me as a regular. The food was delicious and left me very satisfied. I highly recommend the shrimp tempura, the spicy creamy vegan ramen, and the panna cotta. Not only was the food fantastic, but the service was top-notch! The staff was very friendly and attentive. They would consistently check up on us, clear away any empty plates and other small trash, and always kept our glasses filled. Overall, great food, terrific service, and great ambiance. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop by! read more

Always good, friendly staff, generous portions so keep appetizers light or forego them. Probably the best gyoza/dumplings I have had outside of Singapore. read more

It a small restaurant in the first floor of an apparent complex, but when you go in, it has a great atmosphere. Out meal was superb. Drinks were good too. Service was great and timely. We will DEFINITELY be back. read more

Super close to home but have never visited until now. Place is always hoppin and was craving. Delicious!! Cute vibe and great service! Amazing Ramen!! And reply good drinks. Definitely returning.

I really enjoy their ramen. Inside of the restaurant it's really cute with nice low lighting. I sat at the bar the first time I went and enjoyed the chicken ramen with pork broth. The second time I ordered the ramen I got it to go. My order the second time was chicken ramen with chicken broth. Because it was to-go the meal was prepared like a kit and they provided me with instructions on how to prepare. Personally, the second time at home eating was better than the first in the restaurant only because I was able to heat my noodles up longer than, I believe, the time the broth and noodles are put together and then served to you inside. Overall I would recommend. The staff was nice both times in person and over the phone. read more

Absolutely 5 stars for the most elevated ramen bar that my family and I had the pleasure of experiencing. The star of the show starts with the chashu ramen that I've ordered, the noodles were cooked perfectly to my asking while the broth was silky smooth. In addition to the main course of ramen its appetizers from grill Broussard sprouts to Japanese karaage (fried chicken) is out of this world class. This will be my go to for some great ramens. read more

POOR management!!! We always like Jinya Ramen, but this location is lack of management. We came in for a regular dinner, over charged us $50. Called in the store few weeks later for refund, NOBODY replied... Was so disappointed. Finally reached out to the manager, saying will adjusted the charge, eventually he messed up with the amount and charged us one more time. BE CAREFUL using the credit card payment here. And I suggest you pay more attention to the customers. read more

We decided to give Jinya a try after looking for hand pulled noodles in Duluth. We were met quickly at the door and seated in a wooden booth with graffiti on the walls by previous patrons, we enjoyed it. The menu is a QR code on the table. We were greeted by a very friendly server that asked if we had dined with them before. He took our orders cheerfully and had some clever comments which was pleasant. The edamame was a huge portion and very tasty. The goyza is fried and for our particular taste we prefer steamed but that's not an option. It was fine but not our preference. We ordered two spicy tonkastu and one regular tonkastu in addition to spicy pickled cabbage. All were served quickly and totally delicious. The spicy was mild by my standards but still satisfying and the broth was rich and creamy with pork chashu that was tender and flavorful. The ajitsuke tamago was cooked perfectly with a creamy center although a little chilly. The cabbage was nicely spiced with a perfect pickling flavor. I also ordered the Yuzu sake flask that tasted like a refined lemonade, delicious, and two Peach Ramune which were also delicious. Definitely will return to this ramen spot. read more

Food is excellent as well as service. Would go back more than once again. They also have vegetarian options, as I don't eat pork or beef. They had some impossible meat dumplings that were excellent. My boyfriend who loves meat even liked them. They also have different types of vegetarian (vegan too I believe?) ramen and appetizers. read more

Definitely recommend if you need some authentic ramen. I went out with my family and Jennifer (our server) made sure to accommodate our kids and allergies. We ordered the spicy vegan ramen, tonkotsu black ramen, kids meal, and assortment of appetizers. All came out fresh and hot! The manager (Thomas) came out to personally ask us how everything tasted and recommended some desserts for us. Will be visiting again! read more

Jinya still hits the spot! Highly recommend getting their broccolini, Impossible tacos, and the original tonkotsu. Shout out to Jennifer for providing amazing service when I was last visited with a large group. Appreciated that the Thomas the manager came and greeted us and asked us how everything was read more

Vance hooked me up with the best Passion Fruit Mojito. Impeccable bartender! Come and check him out.

We just got small plates. But the chicken is so good, so crispy, juicy and flavorful. The bang bang shrimp was so good also really crispy and delicious. Such tasteful food. read more

Absolutely wonderful. The broth in the various Ramen that I have tasted has all been wonderfully flavorful and tasty, the noodles are soft and flavorful. Absolutely perfect Ramen eggs, seasoned separately from the Ramen dish itself and with a deliciously runny yolk that is wonderful to mix in to the broth. Their small plates make a wonderful sharing selection, the sushi rolls in particular were spectacularly delicious but the king had to be their Takitaki. read more

Awesome restaurant, the ambience is lively, but not overwhelming, Vance took very great care of us, super charismatic and EXCELLENT with the drink recs. This is a trendy style ramen spot, not your traditional Japanese fare. It has lots of options and is passable, but there is no real depth to the broth which is part of what makes a good ramen. It's not bad - just different. Almost as if they're doing a little bit too much, but not in any impactful ways. They do offer lots of interesting starter options and they have a full bar. The staff is friendly as well. Not a bad pick for a quick bite if you really want some ramen and can't get anything else. But, definitely not a go to for us. read more

Best ramen bar I've been to. Ask for bartender Vance! He makes the best lycheetini!! Also the salmon mini tacos are bomb!

Food was really good as was the service! Our server was attentive and provided loads of entertainment throughout the evening. The ambiance was also nice though I will say it was a bit warm where we were sitting in the back. Despite that though it was a great experience! read more

Spicy creamy vegan ramen & Premium Tonkotsu Red is the BEST!!! So flavorful & always hits the spot. My favorite appetizer is the salmon tacos & crispy chicken. The environment is hip & the staff is attentive & professional. Highly recommend read more

The spicy chicken ramen I ordered for lunch was really good. I ordered it hot with thick noodles. I did take out but the inside looked nice. One star off because I ordered online and it was sitting there ready, even though I was early based on the grub hub time assessment. Good thing I showed up early or it would have been cold. Also at almost $17, the value was iffy. read more

Brand new Jinya just opened! The staff is great! Super friendly and on it with service. They even offer kale noodles in replacement for regular noodles and it tasted better lol. The only thing I would say is their broth is a little plan but all you gottah do it spice it up with some of their seasoning and you are A1! Definitely will be back! Especially to the bar! read more

Yelp does it again. First time trying ramen and Jinya hit a home run. Can't wait to come back. Tried the original it was excellent.

So happy to have a Jinya closer to home!! The food is always excellent. The pork gyoza is divine, my bf loves the Tonkotsu Black and I get the chicken ramen with gluten-free noodles. Both were delish and we received great service from Noah at the bar! read more

We ordered to go from Jinya Ramen bar the past weekend. Jinya is one of our usual. So, when Jinyan opened a new location close to my house, we were jumping for Joy. Unfortunately, the last experience was a major let down. We ordered 2 Tonkotsu black combo to go. When we got home, we found out that the eggs for both Ramen were missing and the salad did not have any dressing neither. This is pretty disappointing as the egg is one of the most important part of the Ramen. We never had this issue at any other Jinya location and we order at least once a week. So, we probably won't be back at this location any time soon. read more

Aaliyah was the best server we have ever experienced! Definitely will be back for drinks and the service!

Food and service is good. But 1 star lost for how loud it is. Back room where they put most of patrons is like eating in a cave. Everyones voice is amplified and they blast the music on top of it. Now im not some old geezer complaining about noise, I have been to the buckhead location many times and its not as loud. You can barely hear waiters because its that loud. read more
