Lisa was our server. No wait , eager to assist. She was friendly and speedy and helpful. A lot of options to choose with a diverse menu. I ordered cinnamon pancakes which were delicious, soft and melted in my mouth. Eggs, fruit and sausage. My hubby ordered a biscuits and gravy dish that he salivated over. Hot fresh coffee was served and I also tried an apple cinnamon mimosa. It was fruity and delicious. Restroom clean. Prices were reasonable. I'm glad we stopped here to try something new.

    Avocado Toast

Ordered avocado toast with a side of curly fries. The bread was buttered on one side and set on a griddle for a short time leaving it mostly un-toasted. The "smashed avocado" is not fresh smashed avocado. It is clearly a low quality avocado purée from a bag. Overall it is a very low quality and poorly prepared item. It tastes on par with what you would expect to get from an airport kiosk. The side of fries were standard quality however the whole side was about the size of a small McDonalds fries.

We came here about 9am on a su day morning and the place was packed. I was expecting a wait time but we were seated almost instantly which was great! The atmosphere was family friendly, and the restaurant appeared Clean. The service was also wonderful and fast.. My drink never went empty and I got three refills. I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and they were pretty amazing. I'm not sure if I even took a breath while scarfing them down. I got a side of sausage as well. My husband ordered the country fried steak with hash browns and eggs and a side of biscuits and gravy. While my pancakes were superb his breakfast was almost enough to make me wish I ordered his. The country fried steak was crunchy and the gravy was tasty. He ordered his Eggs over medium and they came out more on the over hard side but honestly it's not a big deal. But if your picky about your eggs just watch for that. The biscuit was also very soft and has the perfect amount of salt in the dough making it so good you could honestly eat it without the gravy. They serve the gravy on the side and It helped prevent the biscuit from getting too soggy. Overall we enjoyed our experience and wish to come back in the future. We highly recommend Jimmy's egg

Pretty basic breakfast place, but nothing out of the ordinary to set it apart from any of the other breakfast chains. A small nit is that when we were seated, my chair was covered in greasy hand prints and crumbs where a toddler probably sat, so I had to point it out to the hostess, and she quickly wiped it off for me. I had an omelette with a side of cottage cheese and an English muffin. It was good, but nothing special. My Dad is absolutely addicted to their chorizo & egg breakfast tacos though. Service was just OK. I ran out of water and it was never refilled and I tried to make eye contact with the server to ask for more, but never could get her attention. She just dropped off the check without asking if we wanted anything else, but that was OK because we needed to get to church anyway.

Jimmy's egg is so good they have everything from lunch to breakfast. My hubby ordered The breakfast burger he said it was amazing. My daughter ordered some biscuits and gravy meal and it was so much she couldn't eat it all but was very happy I ordered the chorizo breakfast tacos and wow let me tell u coming from Texas these seriously were the best tacos ever. Do yourself a favor and stop here make sure to get a dancing egg mug.

We always go to a Jimmy's Egg. They have a wide variety of things to choose from. And you can make changes to them to fit your needs.

Pretty darn good breakfast all the way around. Corned beef hash was home made and great. I'll be back for sure.

Decent and generic. Cleaner than Denny's, not as good as IHOP (similar menus, but less pancake options at JE). Worth a shot.

Heck, she even had Brad Pitt's dad help with wallpapering! The place, obviously, is not a chain hotel and if you are expecting things to be like a chain hotel, you might not be happy here. But if you are reading the reviews you probably already know this. We stayed on a Friday night, so we were there for the weekend breakfast, which I enjoyed. We had not heard ANY sounds from other guests at any point during the night, so were surprised that other people were there at breakfast. A guest at the other table said to us that he was surprised to see anyone else was here as they had not heard us either! It turns out that their room was very close to ours; and there were guests in other rooms as well! Wish all hotels were that quiet! Because of the historic nature of the building, it seems it might be inaccessible to people with mobility issues. Our room (the Chapel suite) was pink and frilly and not really my style of decor - but it's not like I'm moving in! It was definitely a change from usual hotel decor, which is never to my style either! It's a pretty large place and is not as cozy as a small B&B. But it's very reasonably priced compared to those. Beds were quite comfortable, more so than most hotels in my experience. We had reserved 2 nights, but had to cut our vacation short due to weather predictions on the route home. They were completely understanding and didn't charge us for the cancellation of the next night. Will definitely stay here again!

A very cozy and unique place for a reasonable price! The breakfast was also great! I would stay…read moreagain!

Started off with the orange zest caramel latte and it was great: noticeable orange flavor, not overwhelmingly sweet, and served hot in a big campfire-style mug. We split the "super basic brekky" (biscuit, 2 fried eggs, 2 sausage patties, and a side of dressed greens) and the "bean gurlie" hashbrown bowl (hashbrown casserole, fried eggs, beans, onions, peppers, cheese. Also came with a side of dressed greens). Portions were filling and everything was DELICIOUS. The biscuit was our favorite part of the meal (tall, fluffy, amazing), but the sausage and the hashbrown casserole were close contenders. I'm not a huge greens person at breakfast, but whatever they dress them with was super tasty and I loved it. Decor gives thrifted grandma vibes in the most fun and curated way. Staff was very efficient and kind. We'll absolutely be back!
