Please Jet Moving and Storage return our deposit money for order E4279036. We are disputing our nonrefunded deposit charge of $1371.96 with Jet Moving. Jet moving kept our deposit even though I cancelled and requested my deposit money refunded within 24 hours. The same night I made the reservation my husband, who is terminally ill,had to unexpectedly be admitted to to the hospital. The next day I contacted Jet Movers, James, to explain our situation; and requested cancellation and refund. James our contact at Jet Movers said that he would cancel the reservation. He had told us numerous times we could cancel before the move with a full refund. This was also stated in the contract under the refund section. That was the last we heard from Jet Movers. During this difficult time with my ill husband I called and left numerous messages, texted, and emailed info@jetmovingandstorage.net numerous times over the next days and weeks. No return calls, emails or text. We are on our 70s and this money is a great loss to us during a very difficult time Also, according to their return policy I sent a 2 separate cancellation and refund emails. I never received a response back from Jet Moving either by text or phone or email. It's like they disappeared once they had our moving deposit. We did not receive any services which I paid for. I truly feel like I was deceived and defrauded once Jet Moving received deposit money. No services were rendered and I diligently followed their return policy to cancel the move, with no respond back from Jet Moving. I have kept proof of my numerous attempts to contact Jet Movers and have proof of my interactions. Please Jet Moving refund our deposit money in the amount of $1371.96. My husband is gravely ill and we truly need that money during this extremely difficult time. There is no valid reason why you should not keep our deposit. The delivery was late (about 1 month) and I still give this company 5 stars, because of pandemic everything is interrupted these days! Beside this (late on delivery) these guys are amazing! But when it came time to deliver, my packages smelled of cat urine and poop (they must have cats in their storage property) ; Half of my furniture and art pieces/decorations are broken; remote controllers/electrical plugs are missing and not kept with the furniture or appliance it belongs to; Left unrepairable damage from the adhesive tape they wrapped around the leather and vinyl ottoman. What impressed me was their efficiency and "can do" attitude when we learned that the elevator in my new building was out of service. All of whom were extremely polite and professional. I don't think I could have gotten a better group to move my house as a law enforcement professional I tend to be very weary of my personal belongings and who I let in my house at the end of the day I felt like I had known all of them for a long time and they were friends of mine. Unfortunately I was misinformed with a Broker turns out (National Express Moving, out of FLA) so Jet Movers turned out to be who showed up at the latter part of the 2 days for pick up, thankfully they showed up. The moving guys were great who came to pack up BUT the company office could have better communication and more timely! It took about 6 weeks to get my belongings and the one item I needed immediately for my move never showed up - a dolly! I was told by the office to send a photo, really? Of a dolly? GMAB!! We scheduled our move for Mar 9th and they called 2x to confirm with us, that was an incredible stress reliever. They tackled our two story (3 bedroom) home without hesitating or complaining. They were fast, careful and were just solid dudes all around. Got right to work and knocked out the job in under 10 hours. The move went perfectly smoothly and I was charged exactly the price I was quoted per hour with no surprise fees or extra charges! I really wish I could give this company 0 stars. Moving is stressful enough so we hired a broker to coordinate this for us. Long story short: the day of the move, this guy shows up with two movers from Craigslist. They didn't even know the name of the moving coordinator, but we figured that it was fine. Our stuff is being moved. We're keeping an eye on things. No big deal. Next thing you know my partner comes in and has a pained look on his face. I ask him what's going on and he tells me that the estimate has basically doubled. From $3,500 to $8,000! We're in the middle of talking and the coordinator interrupts and says, "Ya know...I'll leave right now." My partner jumps up and says "GREAT! Leave then" because...wait...what? We hired YOU and you're going to threaten to leave because we're not bending over backwards to sign your new contract? I deescalated things and said this felt "scammy" and didn't say much after that. We're not stupid, nor is this our first rodeo. This literally *just* happened to our friends who moved from CA to VA. He eventually threatened to leave AGAIN so that was that. We're now disputing a $1,200 charge, which thankfully the CC company is on top of. Oh, and lastly: The moving coordinator told the brokerage company that we were drunk (sir, you have never seen me drunk hahaha) in order to not take accountability for anything he did. We were literally drinking a glass of wine to celebrate the move. We spoke to the movers the whole time, even offering them pastries and water. This company is a SCAM and they will say/do anything to strong arm you into signing a contract. This whole experience was wildly upsetting (including getting accused of being drunk, still not over that one) BUT we're grateful that not a single item ended up on their truck. Don't waste your time and money with this company. They will give you a lowball quote to draw you in and then nickel and dime you with hidden fees and nonsense charges. I used them for a long distance move and their final total ended up being over $2000 more than their quote even though I made sure my items matched the description I provided when getting the quote. They will charge you for every single little extra you wouldn't know to think about and hide them in the small print of their quote, it was not transparent at all. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! THE WORST AND I MEAN THE WORST EVER! My move started in San Francisco where they packed up all my stuff. After they left, my 1900s original wood floors were completely damaged from them. I sent them a claim and they refused to accept it or pay for them. Then once my stuff got to LA, they demanded more money which at this time you have to pay because all my stuff together is worth tons. They took OVER a month and a half to get me my stuff, then keep canceling and rescheduling. FINALLY they arrive in a rented budget truck (not a company truck) with workers who look questionable and are extremely rude. They demand the final payment upfront even though we want to look at the items to see if damaged which they are. Then they rush us and tell us to hurry up and check items off the list so they can leave. We barely have time to look at the items but tons of expensive pieces have been damaged. They didn't wrap corners very well so screens broke (my peloton), vases, damaged wood corners. And who knows what else as I haven't had time to unwrap everything. Then they said we owed $6900 instead of the $6200 that's on the contract. They demanded we paid the rest before they unloaded. I tried to call the company to confirm this but no response every time I called, just a voicemail. So the movers pretty much stole $700 extra from us because they said unless we paid they would leave with my stuff. They quoted us one thing, then took my stuff from SF and demanded we pay more to release the items. They damaged my wood floors. Then they had my stuff and demanded more money to deliver it to us in LA and damaged my stuff on top of all that. Serious the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I hope this is read by those who are looking for a good moving company. Well, this is not it!! Our nightmare started on the day we were suppose to get everything packed. Fred called to say that they were going to come the next day, When we booked our moved we gave them a window of time they requested June 22 - 23, 2022. So coming a day late made the new owners unable to take possession of their new home as planned. When the truck arrived, driver Juan mislead us about the cost that was quoted. I will agree that we did decide to add a few items. But to add insult to the injury, Jet Moving and Storage for boxes and packing materials that we had already purchased from UHaul. Jet Moving and Storage had 3 other men show up to help move. What a disaster, They didn't have the necessary equipment to move our 2 safes, which we had included in our quote from the beginning. We had to ask 3 other men to help they move the safes. Besides not having the proper equipment and needing to ask other to help, they put dings and dents in the walls and safe. When it was time to pay, the driver Juan asked for cash. CASH are you kidding me!! As we found out later, the driver was accused of stealing money that was collected from previous moves to our. We were lucky enough to pay with a cashier check. So, Jet Moving and Storage RECEIVED their money. But when it was time to get our belonging, our nightmare became death by tortured. Jet moving and Storage was suppose to deliver our belonging on July 1st, 2022 but we finally received our belongings until August 17th or 18th, 2022. We made calls to Fred but almost never received any returned phones or information. Talk about frustrating, Extremely poor customer service. Just look on BBB and you can see for yourself. Once we received our belongings, we immediately noticed almost everything was damaged, Some beyond repair. Boxes were crushed and obviously stored outside in the sun. Proof- ALL candles were completely melted, ruining everything that was in the box with them. Since then we have tried to work with them. Giving them plenty of time to get everything squared out. But no such luck. We ended filing a claim and it was sent back to Jet Moving and Storage. That they needed to pay the claim. We spoke with Angela and was told they wanted to make it "right", this was back in September 2022. It's now December 4th, 2022 and we still have not been paid. 2 weeks ago I sent Jet Moving and Storage an email letting them know I would start sharing our nightmare in all the reviews I could find. Angela called us and stated that Jet Moving and Storage would call us in 2 weeks and settle the claim. The nightmare continues, we have not hear back from them. We found many of our items were damaged---a smashed television, dented and damaged wood furniture, damaged boxes. We followed the claims process, working with MovingClaims.net, and tried to file a claim against the $0.60 per pound insurance policy they offer. After months of back and forth, what should have been a $1K damages payout came to a $60 offer, which we rejected and took directly to Jet Moving and Storage. After some back and forth, they ultimately stopped responding and ignored our demands for compensation. Summary: Worst company I have dealt with, with lying and incompetent staff, and dishonest and shady practices. They took longer than two months to deliver our belongings; and they showed zero concern or remorse for the hardship they imposed on the customers when they cannot deliver as promised. Took 2 months and 3 days to deliver 3. Charged extra bulky, packing, and special handling fees for special major items and these were all broken or missing when delivered 4. A deceiving culture: a) I was given excuses for pick-up delay including truck breaking down and getting a flat tire b) I was given excuses for delivery delay including truck driver getting food poisoning and truck taken in for maintenance c) I was told by customer service to expect delivery in in the next 2-3 days TWICE, and both times we waited and nothing happened d) Told me there will be significant discount for delayed delivery. The fact is they pay $30 for each day delayed e) Neglected to say "business" days when they provided any time estimates in number of days 6. Do not use Jet Moving and Storage OR Trinity Relocation Group!!!!!! Horrible, confusing, misleading experience that cost me at least double what my original quote was, took a month longer than expected, caused stress and strain on my personal and professional life, and resulted in damaged items and a huge headache all around! Movers were totally unprofessional, rude, and confusing. No one knew what was going on, and they relied on "I don't know, I'm just a mover" or "Oh that guy barely even works here so he doesn't know what's going on" as an excuse to be off the hook for giving any information to me, the customer. Delivery estimate of 10-14 days was given to me on pickup, but that was completely misleading as it actually took 6 weeks. (WARNING: if their fine print says "30 days" they don't include weekends, so 30 days = 6 weeks.) WATCH OUT - they'll try to deliver your stuff in an 18 wheeler, and if a semi can't fit on your street, you'll be forced to pay for a smaller truck (and possibly extra storage fees!). Movers were hours late to both pickup and delivery. On delivery, the guy had been driving literally all day long and was exhausted and had a very short fuse. His hired local help was demeaning and complained to me, the customer, then entire time -- about delivery time, about how items were packed, about heavy items, etc. The two men fought (literally yelled at each other) in front of my house late at night. (Doesn't leave a great first impression in a new neighborhood!) I had several damaged items, and it's no wonder as I watched the movers throw and slam my items around (even the bins clearly marked as FRAGILE). On delivery, the two movers were so at odds with each other that they refused to carry heavy items together until I asked them to. Instead, they tried to muscle heavy items on their own which caused slamming and dropping of items. I understand that items must be packed in a way to get tossed around a little bit, but blatant throwing, dropping, and turning things upside down shows absolutely no respect for the customers' belongings. I am seeking reimbursement for damages, but I have heard nothing as the claims process is very involved and requires tons of wait time. I will NEVER EVER EVER use this company EVER again. Moving would have been SO much easier and faster to just do it all myself!!!
