I also compared pricing beforehand, and their rate of $199/hour (cash) plus the $60 truck fee was in line with what I was seeing. They worked tirelessly for 8-9 hours and were able to fit all our big furniture (including a piano, heavy elliptical, multiple couches, TVs, armchairs, dining table, desks, etc) and our many boxes into 1 big truck. They made sure to carefully wrap everything so nothing was damaged, and were very patient in answering our questions. They were very careful in loading, unwrapping and re-assembling everything at our new house (I could tell they were trying not to bump any doorways or scratch the walls with the heavy furniture which I appreciated). They were also accommodating when we asked them to rearrange a few things at our new place. The prices were also reasonable (especially if you pay in cash). My family has used this storage facility in the past and always had good things and to say about them. Very clean property and very well maintained. I called up (YES, a real person answered the phone...and they were on the premises, not a call center). and they had some units available. For security reasons, I like the fact the gates aren't available to enter 24 hours a day. Gate hours are 6am - 8pm daily. Keeps the bad guys out from roaming the property in the middle of the night. They were $100 less for a 10x20 than the other storage places. If any one asks for a unit in valley center....I would tell them just to go here.

I recently used Maximum Protection Moving after submitting an inquiry on Angi for moving service quotes, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Joe, from Maximum Protection Moving, was the most responsive and detailed among the three companies I received quotes from. While their initial quote was the highest, Joe worked with us to create a custom plan that fit our needs and budget. We decided to move everything ourselves except for heavy and bulky furniture pieces, significantly reducing the time and cost of the move. When I requested a walk-through, Joe scheduled it promptly, and it was so quick and efficient that it didn't disrupt my work schedule. Our apartment posed several challenges: no elevator reservations allowed and poor recommendations from the leasing office for parking a moving truck. Maximum Protection Moving handled these obstacles seamlessly, securing appropriate parking and managing the move efficiently, even with other convinces of our apartment. The team packed our furniture with care and speed. They were respectful of our space and went above and beyond by packing extra items not included in the agreed-upon inventory. For our new home, where we had just installed new carpet strips, they took the initiative to cover the carpets, leaving them in pristine condition. We were initially worried about fragile items, but everything arrived in perfect condition. Despite the long drive to our new home and the extra items packed, the team finished earlier than estimated, and the final cost was less than the original quote. I cannot say enough good things about this moving company and their outstanding team. They handled my move from my old home into a POD and temporary storage, then later returned to unload both the storage unit and the POD into my new home. Every step of the process was organized, professional, and stress-free. The company set clear timelines, and the crews consistently arrived early. From the moment they arrived, each team member greeted me warmly and respectfully addressed me as "Ms.," a level of courtesy that is becoming all too rare. They worked nonstop during the entire time allotted, never slowing down or complaining, even when I changed my mind about where I wanted furniture and boxes placed. Their only concern was making sure everything was exactly where I wanted it. They handled all of my furniture with great care, protected my floors, and treated my belongings as if they were their own. Before leaving, they removed all of the moving materials and boxes they had used--and even took additional boxes I already had, which I greatly appreciated. We were referred to Max Protection Moving by our neighbors. They had a great experience. We reviewed their five star rating and comments and decided to hire them. They did not disappoint!! They arrived on time. Joe was always available by phone or text whenever I called or texted. Joe was clear on the price and had us do a walk-through video before quoting. They were very careful with our items everything was shrink wrapped, padded, & protected. The employees ( movers) were very polite. Everything was yes ma'am, there was never a no we can't do that. Fast, friendly, professional, and clean. Joe was there with his movers on this particular day working right alongside them. He stated that he comes to work with his employees on his days off from his regular job. He is an owner Superviser participant. I highly recommend this moving company. Can not say enough good things about Joe and Max Protection. First and foremost they were mindful, attentive, and treated all our belongings with care. They were also fast and efficient - I can't believe they packed us up so quickly (but everything well packed with appropriate protection and labeling)! They were also considerate - asking questions when needed to get clarity on what we wanted. And nothing was too much trouble - they even carried some stuff out to the dumpster for us. Lastly, for all this skill and attention - their pricing is super competitive. Their estimate was right in line with others (even a little cheaper than some). They even came in just under the outside time estimate, but I wasn't worried since their estimate included a guarantee that no matter how long the move took I wouldn't be charged more than a specified number of hours. Completely Satisfied! I knew I couldn't do this myself because of my bad back. And then I factored in renting a truck myself and then having relatives help me move from one storage unit by the beach to north. I know it's going to cost me some money to do this. So a friend recommended I look into professionals. And when I found Max protection moving I couldn't believe it. The owner was very nice and courteous the entire way through. They even sent me pictures of the empty unit and pictures of everything in the new unit. All I have to do is hand him the keys to everything on the codes and I knew I was in good hands. It's always difficult to find small businesses that really do care about the customer and this is definitely the place for it. They understood my situation went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied and I was. The pricing was very competitive compared to everybody else I looked into as well. I had to move my entire house from CA to AR and I was so nervous due to the uncertainty of using a company until I spoke to Joe. He was extremely professional, patient and thorough in his communication. He went over and beyond to help me with the move and the price was excellent. Joe, Rome, and Justin loaded my things in San Diego and Joe and Rome moved me to Phoenix. In Phoenix, my apartments couldn't get me into my unit until the next day. Joe and Rome kept a positive and calm attitude about the whole thing which helped me to stay the same. They showed compassion and empathy through it all. But instead I was met with such professionalism and friendly demeanor with both Joe and Gabe. Max Protection Moving is terrific. I'd give them ten stars if Yelp would allow it. They do all kinds of moving services, including packing/unpacking. In my case, I needed my car packed for a trip on Thanksgiving. When I found out my previously-reliable person had had a truck breakdown, I was desperate and couldn't find anyone to fill in. To the rescue comes Joe Marino (Max Protection owner)--he agreed to come and pack my car on Thanksgiving day at 7:30 AM!! Joe arrived on time, worked fast and meticulously, covering every corner. Joe brought Damian and Terrell and the three of them packed everything I wanted with such diligence and care and Joe even allowed is some extra days in the house we are selling to have a less stressful drive to Colorado, leaving a few things (like the microwave) for us to use for the last few days and they will pack up those things when they come to load the truck. They were easy going and friendly although it was a pretty complicated pack up. This is a move I was dreading after being widowed at 80 and having to make difficult life changes. This was my first move as a single person and I was quite apprehensive until I spoke with Joe. We connected right away and I hired them to move me from the desert to Los Angeles. My experience with Max Protection was absolute perfection. I scheduled them for 2 1/2 days and was so pleased with all aspects of my move. These guys were excellent! This was our first big move in years. We've accumulated a lot of stuff over the years. When trying to figure out what we could make fit in a 26 foot truck and not spend thousands more, Max Protection provided an accurate estimate of what would fit and what wouldn't. Either these guys are that good, or they have some new AI program, because their estimate on space and time to load was perfect! The experience provided was great. We moved our 1500sq ft single story home to a 3100sq ft home. We used the full service pack and move and was impressed how efficient and careful they were with our items and time spent. I noticed they had a system going and communicated very well with one another and also with us. We are booking them for two other moves we have planned and would refer their services. Competitive rates and thankful for the referral from my friend who recommended this company. Response time and flexibility was very helpful. Quite an experienced team of movers. I never write reviews but this company is so great I just had to. Max Protection Moving Company is the company to hire when you need to move. Whether it's across town or cross country, you can rest assured that your precious belongings will arrive and arrive safely. Joe and Joe's team are professional, courteous, efficient and all the while and throughout the whole move their attitudes never changed. They remained upbeat and helpful. Alex, Q, and Caleb did an absolutely stellar job moving us. Although our prep was not the best, the execution on their end was excellent and we were able to complete under the tight schedule. We would hire this crew again in a heartbeat. It was a huge relief to end up working with such professionals. We had switched companies because the previous movers were significantly underwhelming the last time we used them. He said "let me see if I can put a crew together for you" and a couple of hours later called back to confirm our move for the next day! The guys showed up on time and ready to work the next morning. They moved our 3 BDR home in about 7 hours and we had many loose items that needed hand carry. The crew was personable, hard working, and patient when necessary. They didn't break or damage anything either. I would use Joe again without any reservations. Moving is stressful enough so it was nice to have reliable help.
