The quote was good and initial contact pleasant. They would pack, store and move our household. Packers arrived on time and started packing very fast. They were not cautious. We asked the packers to be more careful, but there was no indication they cared. The boxes were not carefully packed as we found out upon unpacking. Fragile objects were not wrapped before boxing. Boxes were jammed. Boxes were not labeled; we had to ask to mark the boxes. There was no inventory of boxes loaded onto the truck, no way to verify we'd be receiving exactly what had been packed and loaded onto the truck. After the truck was loaded, we tipped the men but they had the audacity to ask for more. A very uncomfortable situation knowing they now had our household in their truck. We decided to pay but it felt like extortion. Upon unpacking we encountered many damaged items: squashed table lamps, crushed art work, broken planters, dented furniture, torn chair, to name a few. Claiming damages was an ordeal. The process wasn't smooth or professionally handled. No communication from their end. It dragged on endlessly and the matter was not resolved appropriately. So buyer beware: you get what you pay for! This is not the 5-star company they claim to be. read more

Do not recommend!!! First off they quoted 4-5 hrs, and ended up taking 9 HOURS. I moved 12 minutes and have a 2 bedroom / 2 bath apartment with elevators... On top of that, they broke our TV in the process. We didn't expect any issues getting money for it as they were very communicative prior to the move. However it turned into a 2.5 month battle with very little communication and in the end we didn't even get the full value of the TV. Will absolutely not use again. read more

Edit: The owner says they don't have my name in the system but I literally moved with them in June. In the screenshot you can see for my single bedroom they gave me an estimate of $375, but they ended up charging me $680 in total, not including the tips. Also be aware they charge for those materials like films to wrap around your bed and desk too which I was not informed of. Do not use this moving company. They charged me $700 to move a single bedroom and took longer than usual to increase the cost. The mover also demanded another $150 to dispose of a mattress, which I refused. read more

These guys are legit! I've hired movers before, but these guys take the cake. Communication. Clear and timely. No gray areas and everything is black and white. Moving Day. They showed up during the window they promised, took a look at the unit we were moving out of and moved things pretty quickly. They were professional, handled fragile items with care, but yet were all about the hustle - there was no time wasted. They safely packaged items that we didn't already have packed.. and shrink wrapped things like our chairs and sofa to help protect it (without charging us). You don't get this with all movers, so this is pretty generous if you ask me! Once we got to our new place they safely brought everything into the proper room (some movers don't read the labels, but this team did)! If we ever need to move again, these guys are at the very top of our list! Highly recommended! read more

WARNING! This company moved us yesterday and it's turned into a disaster. We were scammed by the guy in charge for materials and time that were in excess of $1,000, They disposed of a locked file cabinet with all of our most critical papers ... GONE, the lead mover was almost comical in his lack of professionalism, constantly on the phone and faking his efforts, that ends up causing you time and money, and an owner who refuses to manage his team and take any responsibility. Omg, I'd rather have gone with a few college students and a pickup truck then endure this company again. I found them and chose them because if their reviews and I wish someone had raised a red flag before this mess if a move. These guys are mediocre at best and if you go with them, don't say you weren't warned. read more

Not a bad experience - they showed up about an hour and a half into the moving window and helped me move my 1 bedroom efficiently even without an elevator down about 3 flights. The quote they gave me was 974 about 3 months prior to the move, which they reassured me was a good rate - and it ended up being around 1400 with drive time and final cost. I was kind of surprised by how off the quote was. Took them about 10 hours from start to finish with me helping take stuff down and move it up. Overall, an alright experience. We needed help loading our 16' POD and Diamond Movers was awesome! I received a phone call (I believe I spoke to Jane, she was very helpful & nice) moments after requesting a quote, and they were available to help the following day. The two gentlemen showed up on time and had our two bedroom condo loaded in just under 4 hours, and they packed the POD so efficiently and with care. I even changed my mind about bringing a futon & giant dresser and they were so nice about it and didn't miss a beat with things. They helped disassemble furniture, take TV's off wall mounts, and packed & handled everything with care. They were super nice too - I'm sorry I didn't get their names to mention them in this review. I should of read my previous review, but it's like childbirth I guess- you forget the bad parts. This company was okay, but I was surprised they said they didn't bring boxes with them and they didn't want to load up bags and boxes I had. I'd completed a month packing what I could on my own as a single 65 year old woman and by moving day was exhausted and figured I was paying them to move my stuff. They acted like I was asking a favor. Same thing when they placed a table in dining area and when I said it needed to be moved a foot- they replied it was heavy! No kidding. (Most) Things did get moved, and nothing broken, but after given a bill they told me they usually get 15 or 20 percent tip on 6 hours work. I didn't have enough cash so put on cc where I paid fee on that! I am glad it's over but I felt uncomfortable with the tip experience, conversations in another language and one guy never cracked a smile at all, but...this will be my last move and certainly would check out other companies if I had to move again. Not bad move but could of been better when requesting a good tip. read more

3 hour minimum with 20 minute water break and 15 minute drive. Could've saved $200 if I had just took my beds apart myself. Two younger guys were nice, the older gentleman used the bathroom a lot and didn't speak much. My advice is stage everything as much as possible because they start off quick but slow down around the 1.5 hour mark. read more

Diamond Movers are GREAT! They were very careful with my furniture... wrapped it all.... very careful with everything. Very punctual... Very efficient. Always let me know when they were taking a quick break...Packed the truck amazingly and tried to get everything in. I only had to leave a small patio set but I was told they wanted to make sure they got all my furniture in first. It was like putting a puzzle together watching them pack the truck. Very respectful.. Hired the company to help me with my move. For the most part, the move went fine. The guys were really good, and knew what they were doing. Didn't waste any time, apart from the usual breaks. The company however didn't honor the insurance claim. There was small damage to the property while moving. I sent all the photos to the company, and they were late in their response. And when they responded they wanted to go back to the property to fix it, but the problem is that I no longer have access to the property as I have moved out, and handed the keys over. Good movers at decent price. The company should be a bit more responsive to the claims. read more

I was extremely impressed by how effective and efficient the three-man crew was moving my mattress, Thuma bedframe, 75" TV, fireplace TV stand, and my sit/stand desk with dual monitors still attached on an arm. They sufficiently wrapped everything so that it wouldn't ding the walls, and bubble wrapped the expensive electronics. They moved those items from a single story home to a three story townhome. Updating the review based on false information provided by Thomas. Thomas firstly, your company is being investigated by YELP for violating their terms of service. I have attached the email communication that I have had with them regarding your company. You see I always provide proof for my statements unlike you. Secondly, I called your office and asked when the refund would be processed, and they kept saying that you would call. In the end I never received the check, and you can void the check since I don't want anything to do with your company. Also, I put the invoice for reference you charged me for four hours and 15 minutes not "3 hours". It would have probably been 3 hours if your movers felt like working. I will be updating all the review sites that I left intial reviews on to ensure the truth is ALWAYS told. I scheduled Diamond Movers for an apartment to house move on 5/26/2024. The drivers arrived at the apartment at 8:45 AM and got my wife to sign a paper that they were starting work and they grabbed one piece of luggage and went downstairs to their truck. I arrived at the apartment at 9:20 AM and the movers were still by their truck talking to each other. I asked them why they have not started working 40 minutes into the move and they just mumbled in Russian and finally started working. I sent an email to 'Jane Zakharchanka' asking for the start time to be changed because the movers were not working, and she never responded. When moving the furniture into the house one of their movers said that a piece of furniture was extra to move it up the stairs when he was already halfway up the stairs. He also said that he would not move furniture unless HE WAS PAID SPECIFICALLY. I asked him why there was different rate for that piece of furniture being moved into the house as opposed to when it was removed from the apartment. He responded by mumbling in Russian and moved the piece of furniture. When the move was complete, he confronted me and still wanted to be paid individually for that piece of furniture. I told him to leave, or I would call the police. When the movers left I reached out to 'Thomas A' who apologized and sent me a settlement agreement which required me to remove my review for a credit of $179. I told him I would update the review, but I would not remove it. From the attached discussion below, you can see that Thomas agreed for me to update the review and still get the credit of $179. The credit of $179 was never given to me and Thomas has now decided to not respond. Thus, updated the review to make sure others do not make the same mistake I did in terms of hiring this deceitful company. I am also contacting YELP management to let them know that Thomas is trying to bribe people to change their reviews which against YELP policy. I have contacted YELP corporate to help look into this issue. read more

I have used them in the past. Their service has gone so downhill, I paid for an extra truck and extra guys so that I would have enough time to move livestock. I even spoke with the owner Thomas, who told me that they would be there by 8:30 in the morning. One truck arrived at 10:15 and the next truck arrived at 10:45. I was not able to meet the transport for horses which I lost money on and then had to get another mode of transport. Absolutely horrible stress on moving day all because of them. Who starts their moving day at 11 o'clock in the morning? I will never ever ever use them again. And adding insult to injury they took breaks ONE hour after they got here at 11:45. I am adding an edit -two of my items were broken - one solid travertine table now worthless broken edge and dresser legs ripped off. They didn't end up getting done until 10 at night. The owner Thomas said he would make it up to me? His version of making it up to me was 150$ off a 3200$ bill now with a useless broken DEMEJICO designer travertine table that cost 5000$ table and 2000$ broken dresser that they are not fixing or paying for-NEVER AGAIN !!! read more
