This might be a long review (my sister says that I talk too much, lol...we're in our 60's so it's okay...she knows me well). If you're in our shoes, we truly wish you the best in selecting a moving service. Moving is so stressful! For my sister and I, we did find the right team! We didn't know which one to pick, so we checked ratings on Google, Yelp, and Angi's List, but still weren't sure. Next, we read all of the reviews (literally, ALL of them), and called for some quotes. We talked to our neighbors and family in San Diego. These are the things we can tell you about the movers we hired, Pride Moving, out of Carlsbad, CA. They helped us move out of our large storage facility in Loma Linda, Ca, which was costing us a fortune every month. Our mom had passed on, and our brother & his wife, who are active-duty military, placed everything into storage after she died. We needed help. Pride Moving met us in Loma Linda, and packed everything up onto their truck and moved it to our home in Ramona. The owner, Max, and his assistant Nick, were right on time. They worked very hard and quickly in 110-degree temperature! They had the truck loaded up within an hour. When we got to our home, they unloaded all of the furniture and placed it exactly where we requested. Nothing was damaged, including some of our parents' 50+ year old furniture. Everything was wrapped and covered with blankets before loading onto the truck. Max and Nick were kind, professional, and just gave that extra something that makes one pause and feel gratitude for all the things that are right in our crazy world. Like us, you've probably seen a lot of companies with 5-star reviews. We are giving 5 stars because of all of the above reasons. We hope you will realize the sincerity of our recommendation. I used Pride Moving for my 3 bedroom house for packing and moving. I couldn't have asked for better moving company. I am busy mom and I didn't have time to pack the boxes. So,I contacted Pride Moving requesting full service packing and moving. They scheduled visual estimate and Max showed up at our place 7 prior to move day. He offered us 3 movers for 2days. One day packing and organizing. Moving on the second day. He gave me estimate which they completed the move within the estimated range. On the first day, the 3 gentlemen showed up at my place were very friendly and respectful. They handled my belongings with care. They brought their packing supplies . And they packed all of my misc items like dishes and clothes. They made sure all of my dishes were packed with bubble wrap and packing papers into boxes. All of my furniture were covered with moving pads and stretch wrap. On the second day, they showed up on time and quickly started loading all the boxes that they packed stack them nicely in their box truck. They were extremely professional and careful. When we got to my new house, they unloaded everything without any damage and put the boxes in each room where they belonged and staged and assembled my furniture. They were this whole time smiling and never complained when they carried my heavy dresser and armoire up to the second floor. They are punctual, reliableI, and efficient. I couldn't be more happier. Second time we've used the company and after sending a lot of business their way bc our first experience was so awesome. They moved us from apartment to house to storage to another house to destination apartment in 5 hours with 2 movers. So this time we hire 3 movers bc they can only spare us 4 hours. They called us the evening before our move day asking if we could possibly delay our move date. Absolutely not. Like, the power is being shut off. They say thy have a truck problem and ask if we could possibly switch to afternoon. Fine but we absolutely need to move Saturday as we had to clean our apartment in time for a final walkthrough Sunday. Get a confirmation text saying they will meet us between 8am and 9am as scheduled. Awesome. The next morning they arrive at 8:30 with a truck that is half of the size of our previous move. They end up having to do multiple trips, from storage to new house to apartment to new house twice bc they can't fit as much in the truck. 3 guys moved us in 7.5 hours. That wouldn't be so bad but then they turned around and charged us double drive time. Huh? Why are we being penalized for you having a smaller truck? Our movers were still super nice but ultimately we were really let down by the pricing penalty. Had we known the truck would be smaller and we'd be paying for that, we would've hired elsewhere. read more

Pride Moving, how can I describe them in one word - AWESOME!! We were searching for a moving company to help us clear our storage space in Loma Linda and move our deceased mother's furniture to our home in Ramon. After an exhaustive search we picked Pride Moving. Their rates were excellent, but it was my conversation with Maxx, the owner, that made the decision for us. Maxx was professional, understanding and even laughed at my jokes. They arrived in Loma Linda at the time we had requested. Maxx took the place of a sick employee even though he had a full day of managerial duties. Maxx and Nick loaded the truck quickly and carefully. It was 110 degrees outside, and they worked without complaint. At the house in Ramona, they placed everything where we asked, and nothing was damaged. They were friendly, courteous, and respectful. I can't begin to express how impressed we were with the three man crew that moved us today! Albert, George & Nick we're professional, polite and incredibly efficient, hard workers! They wrapped everything, and took extra care with fragile items. They went out of their way to make things easier for us like providing and setting up as many wardrobe boxes as we needed and moved things more than once while we were placing furniture in our new home. Not one damaged item, nick on a wall or any mishap all day! They expressed sincere appreciation when we provided lunch, drinks and snacks throughout the day. Pride Moving Company has been one of the best moving services that I have worked with. I moved from Los Angeles to San Diego and requested their service, the owner and his team are a friendly bunch. Pride moving is reliable, professional, and honest. We moved from San Diego (SD) to Santa Clarita (SC) with the understanding that there would be a double drive time charge. We were concerned about this as it would be the most costly portion of our trip. Max assured us, double drive time is only for time from SD to SC x2; return trip time does not get counted. On the day of our move, Albert and Joaquin arrived on time and are the most hard working and efficient movers we've ever dealt with. Amazingggggg job from Pride Moving. I have had a few awful experiences with moving companies, but this time it was completely smooth. Sam and Adam were soooo professional, savvy, and fun to be around. They carefully wrapped every piece of furniture which I really valued. My plants were carefully handled and they were extremely helpful when it came to disassembling my furniture since it was too large to fit through the doorway. Even with one flight of stairs, nothing was damaged, broken, etc. Sam and Adam are two of the best movers I've ever had and they worked sooooo hard. I admire them for all of their efforts. I would give them 10 stars if I could. We just moved from San Marcos to Rancho Mirage (100 miles)and they did a fantastic job . They packed and loaded the truck and then drove over the next day. We have a lot of antiques plus a black lacquered baby grand piano and a lot of paintings. Also an antique 6 foot tall antique gilded mirror (very ornate). This tall kid manufactured a cardboard crate for it and it came through just fine. All of our things were fine with no dents or scratches. Everything was blanket and shrink wrapped and then unpacked and put in place for us. It was hot here but the guys kept moving at a fast pace the whole time with no complaints. My parents hired this company to take our belongings from both their house and my wife's mom's house and transport them up north to our current home in Santa Maria. Albert and Nick arrived on time and ready to work. They visited both homes to carefully get our stuff and get it packed up in the truck. They were so friendly and professional. After that they made the approx. 5 hr drive up the coast and met us at our house, where they unloaded everything extremely quickly so as to honor the price originally quoted to my Dad. Max, the manager, came to my home and did an accurate assessment of my moving needs. He showed great flexibility when my first escrow fell through and I needed to change the date of my move. HIs crew showed up on time and efficiently packed up all furniture and boxes for my move. It was a long haul from Oceanside to Bend. Two mornings later, Max and Tom arrived at my new home at 8:00 AM, as promised. In four hours, they had all my furniture assembled and placed in appropriate rooms, as well as boxes designated to specific parts of the house. I called Pride and spoke with Max, who assured me they had extensive experience with such furniture. Pride sent a three-person team, headed up by Zhandos, who meticulously wrapped the table and removable base in moving blankets and stretch wrap. They safely navigated stairs with a 90-degree angle, and the table arrived at its new home in perfect condition.
