Well today was that day to finally move my things out of my storage unit. Ayan helped me with my emergency move 4 months ago and happened to be one of the two people who helped me move me things out of storage today. Ulices and Zhandos moved me from my one bedroom to a storage unit yesterday and were such a wonderful help! Some back story, I had someone stay with my pup for a few months while I was away, upon return I found my place was TRASHED. I was still cleaning when they arrived and they didnt judge and worked around the mess. My pup barked at them, but she soon warmed up to them and was curious, they were very sweet to her even though she was a bit of an interruption to them! They packed up my things, some of which were already packed up by previous movers, but even those things they packed more securely. Some things weren't completely wrapped or protected and they added additional wrapping, as well as making sure my favorite painting was very protected. They were super fast, and being a single female I felt completely comfortable with them, which is important! They were quick and efficient both in loading and unloading at my storage area. Not to mention their prices were among the most competitive of those I looked at. Also, I had to adjust my time a bit due ot the craziness of moving and they worked with me best they could. We moved from a 2 bed, 2 bath condo (on the 2nd floor) to a 5 bed, 2.5 bath (2 story). They had 2 guys come out / started at 8:17 AM and finished up around 3:09 PM (they initially quoted us for 3 hours - ended up being 7h 15min...). We did most of the 'small' stuff on our own the weeks leading up to it which was extremely helpful. Nothing that was moved was damaged, however, they did hit our condo wall with our couch which left a 2" hole. Paid in cash which was helpful to the bill total. Did not like that they charged "double drive time". Overall, they did a great job. We got quotes from over 10 different movers around town and based off of cost + the reviews - Pride Moving was an obvious first choice. If you're in our shoes, we truly wish you the best in selecting a moving service. Moving is so stressful! For my sister and I, we did find the right team! We didn't know which one to pick, so we checked ratings on Google, Yelp, and Angi's List, but still weren't sure. Next, we read all of the reviews (literally, ALL of them), and called for some quotes. We talked to our neighbors and family in San Diego. These are the things we can tell you about the movers we hired, Pride Moving, out of Carlsbad, CA. They helped us move out of our large storage facility in Loma Linda, Ca, which was costing us a fortune every month. Our mom had passed on, and our brother & his wife, who are active-duty military, placed everything into storage after she died. We needed help. Pride Moving met us in Loma Linda, and packed everything up onto their truck and moved it to our home in Ramona. The owner, Max, and his assistant Nick, were right on time. They worked very hard and quickly in 110-degree temperature! They had the truck loaded up within an hour. When we got to our home, they unloaded all of the furniture and placed it exactly where we requested. Nothing was damaged, including some of our parents' 50+ year old furniture. Everything was wrapped and covered with blankets before loading onto the truck. Max and Nick were kind, professional, and just gave that extra something that makes one pause and feel gratitude for all the things that are right in our crazy world. Like us, you've probably seen a lot of companies with 5-star reviews. We are giving 5 stars because of all of the above reasons. We hope you will realize the sincerity of our recommendation.
