The team showed up on time, were fast, courteous and careful with everything. by the end of an extremely long day of them going up and downstairs reassembling furniture better than the previous movers had they asked if there was anything else they could do. We asked if they would mind setting up a new bed we had purchased for our son. They immediately said yes and finished it quickly even though they all had to be exhausted. Ulices and Zhandos moved me from my one bedroom to a storage unit yesterday and were such a wonderful help! Some back story, I had someone stay with my pup for a few months while I was away, upon return I found my place was TRASHED. I was still cleaning when they arrived and they didnt judge and worked around the mess. My pup barked at them, but she soon warmed up to them and was curious, they were very sweet to her even though she was a bit of an interruption to them! They packed up my things, some of which were already packed up by previous movers, but even those things they packed more securely. Some things weren't completely wrapped or protected and they added additional wrapping, as well as making sure my favorite painting was very protected. They were super fast, and being a single female I felt completely comfortable with them, which is important! They were quick and efficient both in loading and unloading at my storage area. Not to mention their prices were among the most competitive of those I looked at. We moved from a 2 bed, 2 bath condo (on the 2nd floor) to a 5 bed, 2.5 bath (2 story). They had 2 guys come out / started at 8:17 AM and finished up around 3:09 PM (they initially quoted us for 3 hours - ended up being 7h 15min...). We did most of the 'small' stuff on our own the weeks leading up to it which was extremely helpful. Nothing that was moved was damaged, however, they did hit our condo wall with our couch which left a 2" hole. Paid in cash which was helpful to the bill total. Did not like that they charged "double drive time". Overall, they did a great job. We got quotes from over 10 different movers around town and based off of cost + the reviews - Pride Moving was an obvious first choice. We had a very complicated move that included a 2/2 apartment downtown, a second 2/2 ADU in Clairemont, and then unpacking ALL of it at a THIRD location. We used Pride Moving for unload services only. They also did some disassembly/assembly work as well. We were very appreciative of their courtesy, attention to detail, and hard work. They even went out of their way to remove their shoes each time they entered our home, even without being asked. Personally, we appreciated that, because we do not wear shoes in our home. However, we did not expect them to do this on their own, and we expected to have to ask them. Nevertheless, they took the initiative to do it on their own, which shows great courtesy and great class!
