Very welcoming, upbeat and friendly. They made me feel at home. And they made the sandwich within 5 minutes or less... CHIPOTLE CHEESESTEAK: 10/10 I couldn't believe my eyes like WOW! It's huge!! First time stepping into a Jersey Mikes. It was clean. I was greeted right away. There were two workers in the front who demonstrated great team work and communication. They were so polite and well mannered. I asked if they knew what the viral pregnancy sub was and they did. They also provided recommendations. I let them know I was pregnant and asked about their cheese. They made sure to check that it was pasteurized for me. They were just so kind and helpful. The sandwich was well made and literally did not disappoint. It was the best sandwich I may have had- ever. I split it with my significant other and he was also shocked. I didn't quite understand the rave of Jersey Mike's until I really experienced the tastiness of their sandwiches. This was my first time REALLY having Jersey Mike's! For context, I've only had Jersey Mike's one other time at an out-of-state location and it was an incredibly soggy, sad, and fishy-flavored tuna fish experience. Never again. Gratefully, I've since learned that there are much better menu options!! The staff were super helpful with guiding me on the options; including the different types of bread and what "Mike's Way" meant. I supremely appreciated their kindness and patience! I ordered The Original Italian, Mike's Way, with the hot pepper chopped relish. Seating was a plenty and the ordering process was easy and breezy! It was love at first bite!! Oh my goodness... the fluffy bread, the generous portion of the meats, the harmony of crunch and tangy accoutrements... this was SUCH A GOOD SANDWICH. I get the rave now!! Also, I really enjoyed both the vanilla agave cream soda and the root beer. What a delicious and refreshing way to wash for a beautifully crafted sandwich! It's been 2 weeks and I still cannot stop thinking about HOW. GOOD. MY SANDWICH WAS. DIEGO MAKES THE BEST SANDWICHES AND THEY CAN BRIGHTEN YOUR WHOLE DAY. Mind you, Jersey Mikes is my favorite place. I LOVE sammiches and Mike's is where I go, OFTEN. I'm known at the location by my school, the one closest to my house.. I'm true to this, not new to this. This Jersey Mike's is conveniently located close to the freeway making it accessible without adding too much time if you're on the road. Stopped in for a break and there was a growing line since we came by around lunch time. The staff was attentive and efficiently moved customers through the line. Recently had a Door Dash delivery from Jersey Mike's. We order from them often. For the first time, our order wasn't correct. I contacted them and the gentleman I spoke with was very honest and apologetic about the mixup. I was able to get a new order delivered, the original order was credited. This location gave my a beef cheese steak sandwich in error. We ordered the #42, Chipotle Chicken because of a health issue effecting beef digestion. Thinking it must've been dark meat chicken we took several bites. Each bite was questionable. So, I visited Jersey Mike's site to find that chicken is, indeed, light colored. My spouse was sick later in the evening. This is terrible. Please, DO NOT use a number system if your employees are unable to understand what is included for that sandwich. We absolutely love Jersey Mike sub shops. However, this location (we've been here countless times) gets no love from us. Our typical order is a giant #9 sub made Mike's Way. It's was mid day on a weekend and not a soul in there. Three employees working, all appearing to be of equal age range. We start eating and noticed the sandwich was missing the bacon. After going back up and asking if there was a reason they didn't make the sandwich as we ordered it, he looked at me and said "oh, we forgot". I go and sit back down and he comes out and brings a cup of burnt bacon. Literally way over cooked, crisp and burnt. This equates to eating at a breakfast house and the cook sends out burnt toast. Why? Why would you present that to someone as acceptable? Offer someone a free cookie and say the bacon has been sitting in the cooker far too long instead of trying to pass it off. We rolled up at 8:30pm and the store closes at 9 so we thought cool they still have 30 minutes so in we went! Immediately I was disappointed that no one was up there and when the girl finally came she said two words and then disappeared. I was left standing there with my daughter waiting on her and her coworker to come take our order. While hanging out in the lobby I saw some things that made me want to run for the hills!! I'm posting pics for everyone to see because it's important you know how your food is being treated! It is not clean and when we left I was skeptical about eating my dinner! I felt incredibly nervous that I might get sick! Well as luck would have it I did! I was left to puke my guts out!! I kid you not it was awful and my daughter threw her food away! Meat has to be treated a certain way, hence why when you are pregnant cold cuts are off the list of approved foods! I love Jersey Mike's but I gotta tell you this location is not my favorite. I've been here more than once and after this visit, I won't be visiting ANY Jersey Mike's for a long time!! The turkey(see pic) was literally just sitting out on top of other meats in the cooler! Not covered or nothing! Stuff all over the counter and it was so messy I was freaking out about my sub sitting on the counter! The lettuce was down to the VERY bottom and no longer looked fresh! I came by during the pre-opening event as well as the first day of business and was surprised to learn that many people still aren't familiar with this sandwich brand. That might change with the opening of this centrally located store, accessible right off the I-15 freeway across from the Promenade Mall. In a gist, Jersey Mike's is known for their large subs. With a range of deli cheeses and meats like turkey, ham, salami, cappacuolo and Philly chicken or steak, you can decide to order a cold or hot sub, wraps, or salad versions from their menu. Sandwiches come in three sizes: Mini, Regular, or Giant. The standard is to top it off Mike's Way with mayo lettuce, tomato, onion and "the juice" (oil & vinegar) on either white or wheat bread. I came to grab dinner for the family (5 sandwiches) and they had already "shut down the grill" more than 20 minutes before closing!
