I love the #9 And also the Philly Cheesesteak This location has pizza which are very thin and crispy very large slices just the way jersey pizza should be. If you want to do it right fold it while you eat it. Roast beef is cooked in house and is fresh and lean. Fresh bread and cookies. I love this location. It's clean, staff is friendly, and the food is yummy. The only problem is they do not read special instructions on carry out orders made via the website. In the special instructions I ask for extra vinegar and oil. Every single time my sandwich is dry. It's so dry I almost question if they even put any on. I always come here because I forget how terrible it was, and it's so close to my house. Then, something else bad happens and I remember why I don't like it. Take my last trip as an example-- I got the turkey and provolone mini, and asked them if they could heat it up, as they have one of those microwave/toaster contraptions for heating other certain sandwiches and wraps. As a response, the employee says, "We don't heat our #8s" suggesting that I made some great faux pas just because I wanted mine heated. Why can't I just get my sandwich heated?!?!? Jersey Mike's offers good subs, decent cheesesteaks, and decent pizzas. For me, they are on-par with a Mr. Goodcents on the cold sub front, but not quite as good as a Planet Sub or Which Wich. They blow a place like Subway completely out of the water. Hopefully that gives a good idea of where they rank among other sub chains in the area. I like this place for several reasons. They have mini sizes if you aren't super hungry. They have hot and cold sub options and they have a griddle so they can sauté onions and peppers for your sandwich if I think is very yummy. They do have pizza too but I've never tried it. I love the Big Kahuna with chicken and the Philly chicken. Crisp onions and peppers with grilled chicken and melted cheese oh yum. Two stars off NOT because the food is not food. The food is definitely amazing. HOWEVER there is a lack of consistency. Ordered a roast beef tonight and usually they shave 6 slices of beef, (sometimes 8 if the beef is really thin) but I watched and dude only gave me 3 beef slices. Benefit of the doubt, maybe the guy thought I was having a beef and turkey so only did half the meat... and forgot the bacon... but also forgot the turkey too so forgot 75% of the meat? I didn't say anything because I thought maybe the guy changed the slice size on the front if the slicer to be twice as big? So it would be thickly cut meat that 3 would have the volume of 6 slices? Didn't notice til I got home it was nearly vegan level of meat. But you know, Mistakes happen and I'm not mad. The sandwich may have been super light on protein but it was nonetheless delicious. The veggies were freshly cut, the oil and vinegar is something I wish all sandwich places did. Any other day? I'd give 5/5 but I'm feeling a little disappointed from todays sandwich and I can't report an issue in the app, so I'm posting here. However I would highly recommend this establishment. I think I just had a poorly made sandwich. Maybe my sandwich artist was having a bad day today. My lunch crew and I go (went) here once or week or there about. I've had the pizza (it's OK) and a few of the several dozen subs they offer. They offer a mini size (about 4-5 inches), regular (7.5"), and giant. They also offer sub-in-a-tub which is breadless (but no price break), and a wrap. Normally this mini option is nice if you're not too hungry, but I'm not sure if it's offered on every item. The meats are plentiful and fresh and good tasting. The bread is fresher than other places. As I mentioned, there are a lot of items to choose from and a few different toppings to add like pepper relish and fresh, crispy bacon. There's a popular option to get your sandwich "Mike's Way", which I decline, but it's essentially drowning the sandwich with special oils and seasonings, and most everyone seems to choose this. Now, the bad. This place is quite pricey. Even the aforementioned mini sized subs are $5.25 (they just raised their prices) and a regular is usually around $7.50-$8.50. That's pretty much the killer for our crew going there any more, except on rare occasions. read more

I'm a huge fan of Jersey Mike's. For me there is no better place to get a fresh, rare, roast beef sandwich. Actually, they make the roast beef right there in house. I like mine with mayo and tomato only. My only complaint is that sometimes the amount of meat is skimpy. But, I just ask for more while pointing out that there is much less meat than normal. Service is the best (I've only been at this location in Olathe but I imagine it's great at other locations too). I work in the same parking lot as jersey mikes so it is convienant for me. Pros- Big slices of pizza, lots of choices like hot or cold subs and wraps and sub in a tub, diffrent sizes to choose from. Cons- they are over priced, hardly any cheese choices, few meat choices, only cheese and pepporni on the individual pizza slices Overall they are good and i do enjoy it every once in a while, but for the price i would rather go to subway and have any cheese or bread type i want. read more
