    Gluten free fries
    Kathleen R.

Always an amazing gluten free experience! This time we tried the family feast with GF nuggets, GF fries, and zucchini, it was delicious! Just a note: online you have the dessert included but on the menu in Lenexa it was not included so we were a little disappointed that we had to purchase when it showed it online, I recommend to correct either online or menu. We also love the updates you have done to the place! It makes you feel like you're in a cute small town restaurant with the train going by! Love it keep it up! And love the thte owner always stops by to check in!

Delicious pork tenderloin sandwich and great fries too. I would definitely get both again, the tenderloin was crispy and tasted great and I loved the sauce on the sandwich. Definitely check this place out.

Highly recommend the whole dang menu at Strips! Always fast, friendly, and delicious. The variety of sauces is enough to please anyone. The owner is so committed to good service, his number is on every receipt. I love the option of rounding up for foster kids, too! Well done, Mr. Johnson!

Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich. Sooo good.

Tried this for the first time and I was very surprised on how good it was. Not only was the sandwich full of awesome flavor, the portion was perfect. Just big enough to get me almost to full to want to go back to work. The fries were alright, I didn't mind the secret sauce, but loved that strawberry bbq. Definitely worth a try if you haven't had it yet. I went inside to place a Togo order. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean with a lot of seating. Really enjoyed my experience here. Haha

We arrived early but were prepared to wait for the order until the specified time. After waiting the 20 minutes I got a text that the order was ready but when I went back to the counter, we were told part of the order (mac&cheese) would be another 20 minutes. We could take a substitute item, so although it wasn't what we wanted we chose a different item. Then they said it would only be 5 minutes for the original item, so we waited only for them to say again that it would be 20 minutes. There was someone who appeared to be the manager in the back who never came out, which she should have rather than sending the young girl to address the issue. They had plenty of time to prepare our entire order and they should have handled their error better. All that said, the chicken breasts were great. The tenders, the potato salad, and the corn bites were okay. Likely won't return, at least not to this location.

I found that very convenient and much more relaxed than ordering at a counter with a line behind you. We ordered the wing portion of Soy Garlic Chicken and Pork Dumplings. I have never had wings like this before. They were breaded, and just the right amount of saucy. I liked having disposable gloves as an option to handle them, that is a game changer for me. They were very sweet, which I am not the biggest fan of. They did have a decent amount of heat, which I was warned about from other reviews. It was the perfect level of heat for me, I don't know if I would try their spicy version. I thought the Pork Dumplings were the star of the meal. They were large in size and cooked perfectly. They had just the right amount of crunch and filling. The sauce that came with it was also on the sweeter side.

So like Joe K said, it's great to see more Korean chicken places in the Kansas City area. (S)KFC is…read moreamazing - the crispness of the chicken, the fantastic sauces. It's special. I'm excited just thinking about it. But oh man was I hoping for better. And I think this place could get there, if they can change some things. Joyce and Brandy laid it out well, so I'll just echo some main points: - The food could be better. Apparently it has been before. What I saw felt pretty low effort, the crispiness wasn't there. (South) Korean Fried Chicken is amazing because even with those delicious sauces, the chicken stays crispy. Best of both worlds! These wings were soggy. I didn't feel great after eating the meal. It wasn't ideal. - The service was nonexistent. I came up to the human at the counter, who directed me not to talk to her but to put in my order on the screen to the side. I hate these. I hate them so much. The UX on the terminal was clunky, the navigation in particular was so bad that there were whole sections of the menu that seemed to be missing. I now know to swipe left on the headers to scroll right to a second page of root-level categories, but be honest, just reading that in a sentence is confusing and annoying. Some people may like kiosks. That's fine! But mandating them is awkward and obnoxious. - I'm still on the service. There's a big menu. There are paper menus. There are little signs advertising fun looking items. I already know what I want. It is so much easier and more enjoyable to order with a real human and get their help. Why put the added friction of learning a clunky interface? An employee would be fluent in the system even if it's bad. And if my case is any indication, it's not helping their sales. I would totally have ordered more dishes if I'd known that was an option. It just looked like they were out so it wasn't available. - After putting in the order, I was prompted for a tip for the service. Which just felt like a coup de grace to my psyche. - It felt like there was no heart here. That's probably an ownership issue. I'm sympathetic to a point, it's not easy in general and there's a lot of pressure to cut costs (especially with the tariff arsonist disrupting supply chains). But the vibe here was dismal, you could feel it in the food and the staff. The space itself seems set up well to have large groups and good times. Could be a fun spot. But right now, the impression I get is that aside from the wings the kitchen does a lot of prepackaged instant food. So I'm not sure what they're trying to be - a decent wing place, or more of a fast-food/gas station type of spot. A vending machine with a deep fryer. Like I said before, this place has potential to be great if they can change some things. They're just going to have to want to. I'm rooting for them.

Someone asked a question looking for fried chicken livers and it reminded me of the need to do this review. I am usually not an organ fan. The one you play, great. But eating an organ or something like that is just not my thing normally. But I was raised eating fried chicken livers in Alabama so this is my one exception. That's it. If I get an underdone chicken liver, I'm done, so being cooked well is a necessity for me. I always get the fried chicken livers at Go Chicken Go which I have accidentally called Run Chicken Run. It is probably an accurate name even if I find it unsettling. I've always gotten well cooked chicken livers here. It's all I've gotten but my boyfriend has gotten gizzards (no, thanks) and the fried chicken and really liked both. I've had their biscuits and tasted the fries and they are both pretty good but I'm really there for the fried chicken livers. A large order is 2-3 meals for me. We order through the app and pick up in the drive thru. We have never had to wait long since we order through the app and our order has always been correct. I highly recommend doing it this way if you can! It is quite user friendly. I haven't been inside so I can't review the ambiance but it's fast food so I wouldn't be expecting too much. It's sort of in a more industrialized neighborhood so it it not fancy at all on the outside. Those places often have good food though. If you are looking for a fancy, dine in experience, this might not be the place but if you are looking for some well cooked, fried chicken, livers, or gizzards along with a pretty good biscuit on the side, check them out!!

The nostalgia hit me the moment I walked in, it genuinely felt like I was back in Korea, enjoying fried chicken with a cold beer in chilled glasses. From the atmosphere to the food and overall quality, everything felt authentic. We started with the onion rings ($8) with some beer and Diet Coke, followed by 10 garlic soy spicy wings ($12+) and the spicy pork rice topped with a fried egg ($16). The onion rings were perfectly fried, soooooo crispy, perfectly seasoned, and a great way to start the meal. The wings were outstanding and EXACTLY HOW TO GET THEM IN SEOUL: crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a flavorful garlic soy sauce with just the right amount of heat. The spicy pork rice was rich, savory, and packed with umami and the salad which came with it was extremely refreshing. It didn't taste overly spicy while I was eating it, but I noticed the heat afterward, lol. Overall, it was a great and satisfying meal. The service was excellent, and our server was incredibly kind. She patiently offered thoughtful recommendations, gave us plenty of time to decide, and kept the restaurant clean / managed it while we decided the order. If you are craving authentic Korean fried chicken and spicy bold, umami-packed flavors, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

Got an avocado salad which was said to have arugula but was a basic lettuce tomato onion salad that wasn't too appetizing. Tried the honey mustard but it was too sweet.
