The chicken is cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. If you're feeling something sweet to pair with your food, give the the Cookies N Cream milkshake a shot because it is delecioussss. We hadn't tried Chick-in-Waffle until a few days ago. They opened about a year ago and are having their 1 year anniversary a few days after I write this review. We have been missing out. It's really good! It was a newer, clean restaurant with quite a few tables to sit inside. I signed up for their rewards program and I'm already receiving some good deals from them. It's also fun to try to stop the clock on exactly 10:00 which will get you a free meal. I stopped it at 10:04. I lost but I was the closest of the others I saw try while I was there. lol You can order, online, at the kiosk right inside the front door, or at the register. I got the large (20 piece) chicken nugget. There's not a lot of price difference in the smallest and largest so I went with the largest, it's plenty and I had over 3 meals. It comes with a side and I chose getting the waffle! Yum. The nuggets are juicy and flavorful. The waffle was also terrific. 2 of my family had wings and the other had Asian Chili loaded fries. I'm not a fan of wings but I tasted the Asian chili fries and they were tasty! The prices are very reasonable for what you get and all the employees were very nice. Tried Chick-in-Waffle for carryout and ordered the 10-piece bone-in wings combo. You get two flavors with this, and I went with garlic parmesan and chicken tikka masala. Wings: The garlic parm was the standout -- fresh, flavorful, and honestly better than my usual Buffalo Wild Wings order. The tikka masala didn't really taste like tikka masala (more like a standard BWW flavor), but it was still tasty. The only drawback was the size of the wings -- smaller than I expected. Next time I'll probably go for the 16 or 20 piece. Waffle: I picked the Belgian waffle with maple syrup dip. It came hot but not crispy, with just a dusting of powdered sugar. Still sweet and enjoyable, though next time I want to try the bubble waffle for something different. Fries: Got the seasoned fries on the side -- good flavor and seasoning, though like the waffle, they weren't super crisp. Still tasty on their own, but I would've loved an option to pick dips (ranch, queso, garlic parm, etc.) instead of just being handed four maple syrups. Extras & Drinks: They also offer mac & cheese or the bubble waffle as side options, plus unique teas and lemonades for $1 more, or milkshakes for $4.50. Prices on extra dips are $0.99 each. Overall, it's a fun and unique concept -- fair-style food in a neighborhood spot. The food is flavorful, not always the crispiest or warmest on carryout, but easily fixed with a microwave or air fryer. The first time I came to this location, I knew it was good, but the bone in wings weren't as crispy and flavorful as the other location. However, I came here again and ordered the boneless wings, fries, cookies & cream shake, mac and cheese, and a chicken wrap that I shared with my girlfriend. This food was absolutely incredible. The boneless wings were crispy, the fries were seasoned well and had a nice crunch, the cookies & cream shake made me want more even though I'm not much of a sweet person, the mac and cheese was warm and made my stomach feel light, and the chicken wrap had great flavor and even better, it was $5 as part of a limited special. The service has always been great. The workers are very helpful, kind, and friendly. You can tell they want to ensure you are having the best experience possible. This new location was already up to speed and serving up tasty food during my soft opening dine-in lunch experience. My garlic parmesan bun combo ($13.99 including soda drink and choice of side) was served with a smile just six minutes after I ordered at the counter. The sandwich stood 3.5" tall with plenty of moist, white, premium chicken, crunchy slaw, pickles and sauce on a fresh, toasted bun, while the macaroni & cheese was creamy and delicious. I found the service to be welcoming and cheerful with a satisfaction check. The dining area was clean and new with four TVs, 70's background music and a patio. You can also try your luck for a chance to win a free meal after you order if you have a rewards account. Opening Day for this awesome place! Lines were long but they went fairly fast (deals today only if you ordered at the counter so other options weren't being used). Everyone was smiling and food was flying out the door. We ordered the classic chicken and waffle with a side of mac and cheese, 2 kids chicken bites with sides of the Belgian waffle, 2 cookies and cream shakes and a frozen pineapple freeze. SO good. I was surprised by the extra charge, as it wasn't mentioned until after payment. I also learned that refills were not included, which was not communicated beforehand. Why was I charged an extra $1.00 without being informed, and why were refills not offered for the strawberry dragonfruit tea? Before leaving, with my cup still not empty, I requested a refill, but it was denied.
