Wings: The garlic parm was the standout -- fresh, flavorful, and honestly better than my usual Buffalo Wild Wings order. The tikka masala didn't really taste like tikka masala (more like a standard BWW flavor), but it was still tasty. The only drawback was the size of the wings -- smaller than I expected. Next time I'll probably go for the 16 or 20 piece. Waffle: I picked the Belgian waffle with maple syrup dip. It came hot but not crispy, with just a dusting of powdered sugar. Still sweet and enjoyable, though next time I want to try the bubble waffle for something different. Fries: Got the seasoned fries on the side -- good flavor and seasoning, though like the waffle, they weren't super crisp. Still tasty on their own, but I would've loved an option to pick dips (ranch, queso, garlic parm, etc.) instead of just being handed four maple syrups. Extras & Drinks: They also offer mac & cheese or the bubble waffle as side options, plus unique teas and lemonades for $1 more, or milkshakes for $4.50. Prices on extra dips are $0.99 each. Overall, it's a fun and unique concept -- fair-style food in a neighborhood spot. The food is flavorful, not always the crispiest or warmest on carryout, but easily fixed with a microwave or air fryer. I'll definitely be back, especially to try the bubble waffle and maybe some loaded fries or wraps/buns during happy hour (2-4 PM).

After 3 different tries they finally got my order in the computer correctly. When I opened the box I found that Popeyes must have gotten an order of Pygmy Chickens, these were the smallest chicken strips I have ever had!!! There was also no spice whatsoever on them! I use to like grabbing a meal here every once in a while, but I definitely will not be going back to this location!!

I stopped by the Popeyes near Chettinad in Overland Park around 2 PM after a long, emotionally…read moredraining day and a hot yoga session. This was my first time trying Popeyes, so I was curious and hungry--maybe too hungry, because I over-ordered... and still didn't feel full. (Stomach expansion? Let's not talk about it. ) Here's the breakdown: Chicken Sandwich: Went with the classic spicy. Hot and crisp, but honestly? I prefer Chick-fil-A's spicy sandwich. Theirs tastes more like real chicken and less like "fast food chicken product." Still, Popeyes wasn't terrible--it just didn't hit the wow factor for me. Red Beans & Rice: It was okay, but tasted more like liquid smoke than spice. A little bland, could've used actual seasoning. Biscuit: Would not order again. Dry and forgettable. Skippable. Mango Lemonade: I tried this instead of Coke in the spirit of "trying new things." A bit too sweet for my taste--would've liked more tartness--but not bad. Cajun Fries: The MVP of the meal. Hot, crispy, well-seasoned--these saved the day and honestly might be worth a return trip on their own. Now, the space and service: The location was clean and bright, and there were two kiosks to order from, which made things easy. Even though it was downtime, my food came out quickly--props to the staff for prompt service. What didn't make sense: No visible ketchup station or condiment counter--come on, man. And charging 30 cents per extra sauce cup? Given how expensive fast food has become ($16 for a solo meal), it feels a bit petty not to include at least one or two sauces with your order. Final thoughts: Glad I finally tried it, but I wouldn't rush back. It scratched a curiosity itch, gave me something hot and comforting when I needed it--but the food was hit or miss, and the little things (like lack of condiments) made it feel less welcoming. That said, Cajun fries = fire. 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3 due to cleanliness and prompt service. Food is average.

So, we were driving around in Overland Park and saw a Slim's Chicken. We hoped it was the same brand as we had in Arkansas. Turns out it was the same. The chicken strips were delicious. Hot, tender, good size and very juicy. Also, for the price, got a 4-piece strips meal, for less than $10 got a lot of food. Meal included Texas toast, generous serving of fries and a drink. They also, have over a dozen dipping sauces to pick from. It is almost overwhelming to select a sauce. There is another major chicken fast food chain, whose chicken tenders we use as the comparison point. Didn't think it was possible, however these are better. Now, with that said, and looking at some of the other reviews comments I do have to say that the disposition of the service folks could take some lessons from this other chicken fast food chain. It was okay service; however given the overall taste and value of the chain I would now put this as my preference for the best chicken tenders that I have had. The service differences are not enough to drive me to the other chain. One other thing. They do have chicken wings. I got one to give it a try. It was okay and I would say expensive for what you get. So, none of their chicken wings for me. Stay with the tenders. My rating is only based on the chicken tenders, not the wings.

Was given a table and specials menu, which had amazing options. I chose pastrami with sweet potato fries. I must tell you that my choice was outstanding. It was delicious greasy, and the meat was so tender and flavorful with the mustard sauce. The fries were crispy and soft from inside. The spicy oil was great.
