Our handyman recommended this place. He's from Europe somewhere, so I figured that was a good sign. Their gyros are definitely not light, but then again, what gyro is? They put fries inside the gyro, which purists probably won't like. I personally love it. It cuts through the richness of the lamb and beef combo. Total salt overload, but when you're in the mood for it, it hits. My mom ordered the chicken gyro and it was terrible. Big chunks of chicken breast covered in honey mustard and super messy. She hated it and honestly I did too. She prefers the style Mr. Gyros used to serve pre-Covid, and this wasn't even close. So it's kind of hit or miss. They do their main item really well. This is the first time I have tried this out and it didn't disappoint at all. At first, it just looks like another fast food place but it was much more. There's a whole menu for gyros/pita and OMG I wanted to try the steak that was new and can't forget the classic beef/lamb gyro. The staff immediately greeted us with a friendly smile. Didn't feel overwhelming or intimidated either. Ordered what I wanted and let me just tell you, it was so good and huge. Very fulfilling to the last bite. One of my favorite fast casual meals is Nick the Greek. They serve a lot of your traditional Greek food with lots of flavor! I ordered several items on the list and they were all delicious. The bowl, the donuts, and the baklava are my favorites, but you cant go wrong. The space (Olathe) can be a little tight if it's a busy day but I was able to find a seat and enjoy my meal. Service sets this restaurant apart from other "fast food" restaurants. Is this a fast food restaurant? Food delivery was fast, faster than Mr. Gyro, but more tasty. I didn't know any of the employees, but I asked for names as I was impressed with the service. Sean was running the resister and provided great service multiple times (at one point one of our children was having a meltdown and he brought her something to distract her. Francisco (one of the owners) was also frequently helping out. His servant leadership shows through with his employees. Ambiance is modern design with some class. I highly recommend. read more

Delicious! We needed a dinner place that was open after 8 PM, luckily Nick the Greek is open till 10 PM on Saturdays. I ordered the souvlaki plate with chicken and rice, he had the gyro plate with beef and fries. Pita: buttered, garlic-salted, and grilled. I would come here and just get a handful of this bread if I had a bad day and needed a snack. Chicken: It reminded me of chicken tikka in texture and flavor? Well cooked, still tender, with a nice char. As noted later, not a lot of seasoning but with so many other strong flavors from the rice, pita, onions, tomatoes, and sauce I preferred it this way! Rice: Well flavored and yellow. Nice side accompaniment. Greek side salad: Mostly lettuce, with some feta and two really good olives. Fries: Nicely seasoned, but oddly pale? Did not stop me from snitching them from my husband's plate when he wasn't looking...
