When this Jersey Mikes opened it was my go to lunch spot in town, the food was always good and the people working were always friendly and helpful. Sadly, this is no longer the case. I have been in four times in the last two months and my order was wrong three out of those four times and the new staff is unfriendly and rude. The first time my order was wrong it was like pulling teeth to get it fixed and the next two times I was already home before I realized it wasn't right. Today at 12:15 my husband and I both ordered hot subs and they never called out a name or let us know they were ready. They were just sitting by the register getting soggy while we stood there waiting. I get that making sandwiches is not most people's life goal but if that's literally what you're being paid to do a smile and some accuracy goes a long way. Did I really just pay 13 dollars and some change for a giant philly sub?? dannggggg, I did. What was I thinking? I immediately had buyers remorse. How, or why would people want to pay that much on a regular basis?? Giant = footlong + 2 inches. I'd go with the normal for sure "if" I went back. Yeah I'd rather pay 5-6 at subway or a bit more at Jimmy johns which is what this spot reminded me of, except they were nowhere close to freaky fast. I awkwardly stood waiting for my philly cheese and having person after person asking me if I was in line, very awkward waiting area that took about 15 minutes. Eugene, OR location on Delta Hwy: Probably won't eat there again. Ever. First of all, Jersey roots or not, I was not impressed. For one, sandwiches are a mess and full of surprises... I'll get to that. Their mission statement includes "True to it's deli roots, and true to it's community's roots too." That may be true, but they also forgot to include "also contains human hair roots" as my first experience there included four 8-inch long hairs melted into the cheese beneath the sliced chicken on my Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich. FOUR. Seriously. I can deal with one. But then I found a second. And a third. I'm not a food snob, and I have kids, so not much can gross me out these days. I decided I'd rather finish it than raise a stink about a hair in my food. Until I took another bite and literally found ANOTHER long hair in the sandwich, which I was unaware of until I felt it floss through my teeth and I had to resist the urge to throw up right then and there. I wrapped up the sandwich and went back and politely said "I'm sorry, may I have this sandwich remade, without the human hair in it please?" They politely obliged my request and apologized and said they'd replace it for free. A few minutes later an employee brought me a new chicken bacon ranch sub and literally said "Sorry for the inconvenience. Here's a new chicken bacon ranch." I took his word for it. When I got back to my desk at work, I unwrapped it, and they'd given me a turkey, lettuce, and tomato wrap... EPIC FAIL. Now, this chain just opened their doors, and I understand that, but the lack of attention - especially when trying to make a positive first impression on the community - is not a good way to start a reputation for their business. My family is from the East Coast and I have had lots of subs, grinders, etc. First off, if you are looking for lots of veggies on your subs this isn't your place and you should move on, this is an east coast rooted place. This place has some great meats and cheeses that is sliced for you as you order. The brand they use is Boarshead which can be found at Safeway. I am in love with vinegar on sandwiches and theirs tastes like a delicious apple cider vinegar. They could cut down on the oil a bit, however their seasoning for the subs is on point. I have been here twice and both times they made the sub as ordered. I went their the first time and they were out of bread and they were cooking a fresh batch. I didn't mind because one... Fresh bread? Ummm yes please, and second, steel pale is right around the corner. The bacon is a little to crispy for my taste and not the best quality in comparison to the other meats and cheeses they use. The place is not very big and cannot occupy very many people is another down side. Overall not to shabby. I'll be going back. read more

Awesome food, but pricey. My wife and I could have easily split a giant, which was about 15 inches. The meats and cheeses are sliced fresh per order and not weighed and are pretty generous. Mike's Way is awesome, but don't plan on eating leftovers, the oil will soak the bread. Even though I over ate on a giant, I still had about 6 inches (that's what she said) of sub that I tried to eat later. I am looking forward to my next trip soon. I'm not impressed. Sandwiches are over priced and are not as tasty as other similar places. My wife had the California Chicken Cheese Steak ($7.85) I had the Grilled Pastrami Reuben with extra meat ($9.60). I made one a meal with chips & drink ($2.95). Total of $20.40. All subs ordered were regular size. Even with the extra meat I thought it was not enough. They barley put any sour croutons on it. My wife said it was not very flavorful and would not want to go back. I ordered ahead of time and had to wait 10 min beyond when they said it would be ready. I suggest going to Jimmy Johns or Fire House Subs instead. read more

I had a wonderfully average experience here. It doesn't look like it will have great sandwiches, especially for vegetarians (3/5ths of our party was vegetarian) but they deliver. They have one vegetarian wrap and one vegetarian sandwich, you can get 3 sizes - small, medium or large and they are decently priced (think subway prices). The chipotle chicken sandwich was good but overstuffed so half the sandwich fillings didn't even fit in the bread. The service wasn't great- they initially forgot one of our sandwiches and the sandwiches were not made in a way everything could fit. But they taste pretty good and the bathroom and tables were clean. The vegetarian sandwich is pretty bland and it gets soggy fast because of the stuff they put on it, but you can get extra pickles which is always a plus! read more

tried a BLT, ordered through HUNGRY DUCK(these guys rock, delivery in under an hour, even in the ice and snow) Onto the BLT, everything was awesome except half the bacon on it was burnt and crunchy as hell. picked off the bad bacon, and it was an awesome sub, without enough meat, go figure. lol. I love the food here. The sandwiches are spicy and fantastic. They use a lot of unusual meats and the menu has a lot of variety. I docked a star because they have some cleaning and hygiene issues. True "East Coast, Jersey Style" Subs. I was in there on a Saturday night right before the Duck game. (Around 6:30) A really cool guy came out as I was deciding what to get and greeted me. He is one of the franchisees and I asked for his name so I could give him some direct credit on yelp and I forgot and I feel bad. I wish I could remember the name of the sandwich I ordered. I wanna say it was the "Supreme" or Mike's "special" but don't quote me, I was in a hurry. I do know it is the sub that has 3 types of ham. Regular Ham, Cappicola, (hot ham) and another I can't remember. The franchisee told me "great choice" and "it's the best ham sandwich I'll ever have". HE WAS ON POINT! AWESOME! Get your sub "Mike's Way". It includes lettuce, juicy tomato, onion, a high grade splas of red wine vinegar and pure olive oil and herb blend. For no extra charge I added AWESOME crispy dill pickle chips, pepperoncinis, and their own signature tomato pepper relish! Slightly spicy and tangy. The bread is a thick and dense French style roll that holds up well to the "sauce" (oil and vinegar) I will be back ALOT! BTW..I got the "mini" wich is a 5 inch sub. It was just over 5 bucks. The only knock is that the crew is brand new so I've hand some waits and the occasional mistake. HOWEVER! All good quality just a preference because I love meatballs. Have not tried any other sandwiches yet. I normally love this place it has great subs and great employees the reason I am writing this review and only gave it two stars is because today I went in ordered two sandwiches one was a cold sandwich and one was a hot sandwich. My problem is is that when I received them my hot sub was almost a 3/4ths of the size as my hot sub mind u they were both to be regular subs and I paid 17.00s for them. When I asked the girl why my subs were so different in size she tried to tell me one was a large and one a regular when I corrected her she said that some times our bread is wider since we bake it in house. She was rude and argumentative. I get food there all of the time and I am a member of the shore points program I have never had a sandwich that small as a regular. Next time u order make sure that the sand which is the correct size before u pay for it read more

I was referred to Jersey Mike's by a friend a while back, we tried and we were hooked! I've always received excellent customer service from the Delta location. I usually order online now... And it's always waiting for me when it says it's going to be! Today I ordered online and went to pick it up and both my small children were sleeping in the car. I called the location and asked if they would bring it to my car, and without hesitation the gentleman brought it out to me. The employees there have always been fantastic.. but today they showed above and beyond customer service! Went to Jersey Mike's for the first time today. We went to the 13th ave location, It wasn't busy when we went to pick up a called in order. My first thing I would like to say is I tried to online order and it was a difficulty to get the payment for my visa to go through. I just spent 20 minutes setting up account, choosing what to order and entering in my payment information. I entered all the correct information and kept getting a cannot go through gateway error message. Everything is good on my visa and my debit card. I had sufficient funds to cover this purchase. My hubby ordered the regular chicken parm# 18 and I ordered the regular original italian #13 with extra veggies no vinegar, oil or oregano. We took our subs home and I was pleasantly surprised with mine. My husband said, "they should of toasted my bread more and there was a touch to much sauce." He liked that it is real chicken and not some pressed piece of all different parts of the animal. He also said," the sauce tasted good." There were good portions of meat and cheese. We usually go to Togo's on west 11th as it's close to home. The prices were comparable to Togo's. We don't like Jimmy Johns and Subway should be ashamed for giving their customers such little portions of meat and cheese and filling the rest with veggies. Both sandwiches were yummy and workers were polite and accurate. Place was clean and looked like it belonged on a carnival lot or boardwalk alongside the ocean. We had a pretty positive experience all in all. The food order came to $15.70 for 2 sandwiches. I can't afford to eat here everyday, but when I can I will give this place a call.
