I come to this Jack in the box frequently and up until today I've always had wonderful interactions with the employees. The gentlemen who gave us our order at the drive through was great but the snappy, rude, b that was behind him and snapping at him for every move he made was really a mood killer. She was angry that we asked for an extra drink holder instead of just saying something nicely. We were not aware of a policy where you apparently can't ask for an extra carrier. Hope she learns to check her nasty attitude for the sake of everyone's day. The tacos are of the fried variety, which can be harder to find, but they are good-I wouldn't mind seeing a "tacos and fries" meal. The burger and fries were good, but not knock it out of the park. However, I could live with Jack-in-the-Box compared to Carl's Jr.-Carl's Jr's food always left me with an ick feeling. I just purchased food at this, Jack in the box. I ordered two plain hamburgers, two sides of pickles and four packets of secret sauce. Upon receiving my order and inspecting it, I discovered, I was given two cheeseburgers, and no secret sauce packets . After telling Alicia R (my server designated on the receipt) she proceeded to give me the look(you know the one that teenagers gave you) like I messed up my own order. No, you screwed it up by not putting the right food in the right bag . After waiting again to receive two new hamburgers, I was still shorted a secret sauce. She then explained to me that they were out. I'm a regular customer as I get off work late at night and this store is close to my house. I am surprised when they get my order right the first time. It almost never happens. 4/5 times I have to remind them they forgot something or gave me the wrong item. The food is always sub par, fries are always soggy. They give me attitude when I check my bag to make sure everything is right but then most times I have to get their attention because something is wrong. The first time they forgot to give me my debit card back when I went through the drive thru. Then I found out they charged my card twice for the same transaction. Agree with the most recent reviewer. The female manager is trash. The workers are trash as well. Attitudes from the smallest question, taking things personally, immature, don't own up to their own mistakes, and act like a bunch of kids. All I did was ask to talk to the person in charge of the shift and at first the employee on the phone was refusing to even ask her if she was able to talk. When she did, she lied about what I said and made it seem like I was being aggressive when really the moment the girl answered she wouldn't allow me to talk to her boss at all until I gave her a "good enough reason for calling" as she put it. Excuse me? Good enough to who, you? That's funny. So, she played gatekeeper on whether it was important or not of a reason to her *personally* to ask their busy manager. You guys screwed up my *entire* order. I ordered a garden salad combo meal. You didn't give me the drink, you didn't get the salad right (I got Southwest instead), and when I asked at the window, you insisted I was wrong and wouldn't give me my receipt to prove it since conveniently it wasn't printing. So, I called hoping to talk to the ringleader in charge of this circus of a fast food stop and instead got what sounded like the same chick who messed up my order. How convenient that your boss was busy. Just because "she's in the kitchen and not taking any breaks," as you put it, doesn't mean she's too busy to talk to a customer. That's part of her JOB. If she wants to keep her crappy job, that is, it's part of what she signed up for. When the girl on the phone did finally ask her manager with the biggest attitude ever, she said "Do you want to talk to this person?" without even saying who I was or what I wanted. When asked by, who I'm guessing was the manager, what I was calling about, she said I was threatening to go down there if I didn't get to talk to the manager about my order. Which I never said. So of course the manager didn't want to talk to me since the worker made it seem like I was unhinged. I said I didn't want to have to drive all the way back there (a few miles away during after-work traffic) just to talk to the manager in person... hence why I was calling! No shit. I was tired and didn't want to waste the gas on *their* mistake. So, yeah, I wanted to talk to them about it real quick and just get it fixed. Because I spent $18 and didn't get what I ordered or even all of what I ordered. But I'm the bad guy, right? Because we all love wasting that much money on already crap food just to not even get all of it, right? When I could just talk to the manager over the phone about it, it's not a big deal, but they're clearly toxic as hell over there and made a big deal of it. Very big difference though between threatening to go down there because I'm mad and just telling her I didn't want to go down there because it's really inconvenient and it could be fixed faster over the phone. I was also tired, too. From working myself. But the kids working there are a few screws short of a full set, so I get it, critical thinking is not their strong point. And a little bit of empathy is too much to ask. So, once the girl on the phone got back on and said the manager "doesn't want to talk to you, sorry", with an I-told-you-so attitude, I said okay, if she's refusing to at least see what the issue is that a customer is experiencing under her watch, that's pretty unprofessional, and I would have to talk to her manager's boss then about it. The girl got mad and said "Oh, yeah, is that right?" and hung up on me after that. Really childish. Shouldn't be working a customer service position if you can't even communicate like an adult to the simplest thing without taking it personal and having an attitude to everything I say. Honestly, whoever the manager is, she is a real piece of work. And the types of a** kissers she hires under her to gatekeep who can and cannot talk to her is absolutely pathetic. I only ate here because I was desperate. So, I guess the types of workers they hire reflect that mindset. I won't make the same mistake again and eat at this garbage place. I hope the person in charge of all of them sees this and figures it out or this location isn't going to last long. Customer service really does matter. When you put that last, all you attract are awful people who will scare away your business. I did fill out a request to talk to a rep through corporate on the main site. The employees are quitting left and right and the customer service is just ok, there are some employees that really in comparison to others and considering the part of town their a little is hard to give and yet they still do it! jack in the box isn't the classiest joint, the food is not that good, and , the tacos aren't beef! But when there's chicken there is also a bone and I have a bone to pick with the employees who don't give it there all! ( I worked for Jack for 4 years in high school) When my order was taken the fat, lazy, worthless manager deliberately ignored my request. When he handed me my receipt I called him back to clarify my request just to be dismissed. Gave them one star because I couldn't give them less. Terrible service, having been the local trash hauler for 30 years I can stay out of the way of cars. Working during this corona 19, not a lot of choices for lunch in a big truck. They refused to serve me at the drive up and couldn't serve thru the front door. No walk up service. I have defended there cashiers from homeless bums in the past, but now can't even get lunch. I will never set foot in this place again, never ever! This restaurant is pretty bad. They have run out of fries more than once. That's unacceptable. I have also been turned down on my rarely ordered Oreo cookie shakes more than once. That's a little more relatable. Quality here seems generally low. Food is sometimes disgusting. Other times it's what you would expect. Wait times can be long, especially with the drive thru. Honestly just wow. You have to have pretty low standards for fast food, but this location will likely still disappoint you. I pulled up after a 14 hour shift last night and just wanted something quick, easy and filling for myself and my boyfriend at home so I could relax after a bad week. Despite being pleasant and patient thru the long wait and the fact that they were "out" of half the menu (grilled chicken? salads!?), the girl working was still rude as hell and very clearly did not want me driving thru and bothering her to buy food. Got home and the fries were the wrong (smaller) size and my loaded breakfast sandwich was missing all things meat... the ham, bacon and sausage were replaced with another egg and more cheese. I literally just ate a greasy cheese and egg sandwich. How is this okay? I work in the food industry as well (granted not fast food) so I get that you sometimes just don't want to deal with people. It could be a sauce, a dessert, or even ingredients for a full sandwich and by the second item I order they promptly tell me they're out of "______". But that is just the tip of the ice berg for this location, they serve stale cold fries, the presentation of the food is a joke, and the service is always abrupt and rude that the employees seem to have no sense in the word customer service. I had only come to this restaurant for two reasons, first it is one of the few places that are opened after 10 and the second is that it is only five minutes away from my house. You should give these guys fricking bonuses for having to work in FREEZING conditions. It was so cold I could not even enjoy a meal here. I know all chain fast food is supposed to be the same but this Jack in the Box is different. The food seemed fresher than most and a bit less greasy. We had a coupon for a free burger when you buy one and after we finished ordering she gave us more coupons to use on future visits. That really gave the message that she was glad we came and wanted us back. I wish I had caught her name but the entire transaction was very pleasant and we had some interaction with 2 other employees during the visit and they were also very pleasant. When the food arrived, it was just as we had ordered it and very good as fast food goes. The place was very clean and decorated nicely too.
