As a Hispanic I actually really enjoy the mexican burritos from here! They have rice, salsa, protein, beans, optional add ons, and I really like them! They're about $10+ which isn't bad and they're literally huge too. Salsa verde is good! I've tried the taquitos too and they aren't bad at all. I love Baja Fresh. It's a great fast causal Mexican option to switch it up from qdoba or chipolte. It is more on the expensive side for this type of place but the portions are hefty. I always get the chicken quesadilla. Would definitely recommend ordering that. It comes with really good guac and sour cream. They also have a salsa bar which is nice. When it comes to burrito bowls, it's not very easy to find good quality burrito bowl shops. I have tried other places, but they haven't always been the best. Sure, you'll pay a little more, but least you won't feel like you've been ripped off. It's a big bowl, and it has the works-restaurant style rice, beans, veggies, and whatever protein floats your boat adds up to a delicious meal! Finally, a burrito bowl that doesn't have sanitary issues or makes you feel ripped off! This would my go to for a office lunch or dinner! I am just finishing my meal, which was fresh and delicious. My review is about the temperature of the lobby. It is so cold! The temperature outside right now is 38, and I'm not exaggerating that it can't be more than 50 degrees inside the restaurant. Unfortunately I chose to dine in. Another (take out) guest mentioned the temperature to me, and stated that he felt sorry for the employees. In the past I've been unhappy with service here; they're understaffed and overwork the employees. Now the restaurant is too cold. This location has deteriorated. We always loved eating here. It is a mess now. They have neglected the patio, the fountain doesn't work, the wisteria is gone, the tables are a mess. Inside is dirty and there were flies everywhere. Salsa bar was messy. Bottles of Tapatio were empty. Chips were stale, tortillas were also stale. The shrimp tacos are nothing like they used to be. The counter staff don't know the menu. They are confused and seem bored. We used to get awesome service here and even better food. It's very sad to see it go to hell like that. We will definitely be visiting the fresh mex place across the street. They still have good food and service. So sad Baja Fresh, why????? read more

We had an event with about 60 people and chose Baja Fresh Cattering. The food was hot and we picked it up in a hot bag, they provided chafing trays and all servingware. Victor was very accommodating and friendly. Everyone loved the food and it allowed us serve everyone from vegan, Vegetarian, gluten free and those who enjoy the chicken, carnitas and steak all at a reasonable price. I really enjoyed their Grilled Shrimp Chile Lime Salad. It's so hard to find something that is quick and healthy and tasty nowadays, but this salad is all of those things! It's nice to eat something green at a restaurant and have it taste fresh. I used to come here a lot when I worked off Coburg Road, but it fell off my radar when I transferred jobs. I stopped in the other night when I was in the area, and I remembered how good their food is. It's so easy to call ahead to order too and the food is usually ready in 5-10 minutes. To the employee that just told my husband that you close at 8:50pm when it was 8:52pm and you actually close at 9pm you may think you just lost one sale but your manage and owner would probably like to know you actually lost two customers for life! I know its a gamble when you are trying to decide to clean up so you can get home faster or hold out until actual closing time but is getting home 10 min earlier really worth loosing a customer for life? I never thought so when I was working fast food in my youth and luckily I always had a shift manager who didn't think so either! Hopefully this is a life lesson! I've only eaten here once, but I wasn't really impressed. I thought they were a little expensive. Baja Fresh is one of those fast-casual Mexican restaurants, similar to Mucho Gusto (which is almost across the street, in Oakway Mall). I wouldn't eat here again unless I was with someone who really wanted to eat here. I hope Chipotle Mexican Grille decides to build in Eugene soon. read more

Seems like they are focused on delivery orders rather than eat in customers. The fish in the fish tacos is not the same. They said they were out of the cabbage slaw so they gave me something white chopped up with salsa thrown over it with a weird sauce on the side.
