Been coming here for years now, still a classic favorite spot for my boyfriend and I. Service is always friendly, food is always fresh. Recently for the past few months I've been doing constant burrito bowls and they're always great, good portions too. The few times I've had issues I've been taken care of, which is appreciated. The chicken is the best IMO, that's definitely what I stick to. I haven't tried those tostada shells yet but they look intriguing for sure, maybe next time. Tacos from here are good too, the shells are perfection, and loaded up! Looking forward to coming back already. As someone who usually goes to chipotle, I loved that they had a larger variety of sauces and salsas. I had to get the mango salsa and cilantro sour cream. They pair together so well and I look forward to trying other options. I will say the beef lacks some spice. I just found out this evening that the burrito bowl that I've been eating for over a year and I always ask is it gluten-free. This whole entire time at the Oakway center, Mucho gusto stated that the Tofu was gluten-free. I would get the tofu... or I would order it through DoorDash, and put in the food allergy section, that I was gluten-free! Guess what if you're gluten-free or celiac do not eat their meat or their tofu IT IS GLUTEN ! Mucho gusto changed their recipe about a year ago. So for a whole year I could've been contaminated by their non-forthrightness! I've been wondering why my son and I have been feeling sick! Just be honest restaurants if you are not gluten-free, let the people know! I will be letting the Health department know that you are deceiving the public! I'm considering suing because of my health issues and being poisoned by the gluten Rule of thumb let your yes be yes and your no be no !!! Just be honest ! Mucho Gusto really does deserve 5 stars. While this place isn't fancy or in the category of "fine dining", they consistently serve delicious food at a great price. Honestly their tacos are better than nicer, table-service Mexican restaurants I've been to in town. I'd take a Mucho Gusto carnitas taco any day. And you can't beat their prices for margaritas! My favorite thing to order is the mucho dip. It's basically nachos but with the toppings separate from the chips. It is very filling and my husband and I usually share it. I haven't been here for a few years and I used to love eating here. Since the last time I was here, the prices went way up. Service went down. Quality went way down. The whole place was dirty. There were flies everywhere. I mean everywhere. All over the food. All over the people. It was gross! The food was super salty and expensive. My only major complaint was I got the salad and asked for chicken but they put a lot of the chicken juice in tiny salad. I'm just not a fan of meat juice. Made a quick pit stop here on the way home from a long shift. I wanted something quick and filling and this satisfied both criteria. The set up is assembly line style (think Chipotle) with options of: burrito, burrito bowl, tostada, taco plate, salad, and something called mucho dip which is basically a large bowl over a mass of tortilla chips. I had the burrito bowl with fried cod as my protein, rice, beans, cabbage/lettuce mix, pico, cheese, guac and sour cream. Overall, it was hot, nutritious and filled me up. That being said, I did feel like the food could be more flavorful. The fish was fried well and had a great crunch, but was a little bland (more so than usual for cod). The guac also felt a bit generic. Other than that, it's a solid place and I would come back again if I needed a quick hearty meal for a good price. read more

My wife and I have been here before and always enjoyed it. Today, however was an odd experience. It was pretty busy and we stood in the line that was to the door. This is the kind of place where you stand in line and they build your meal as you want, then pay and you have a seat with your meal. My wife ordered a chicken salad and I ordered a beef burrito. They made my wife's salad first and then proceeded to replenish the ingredients while we were oddly standing there while I waited to place my order. It just felt weird they didn't confirm if our order was together before replenishing ingredients. When we got to the register the salad was gone. They weren't sure where the salad went so they had me pay for just the burrito and let my wife fill out a to-go order ticket for the salad. We sat down and waited for my wife's salad which they brought out promptly in a to-go container. We noticed the people sitting near us were in front of us in line. They had an extra salad at their table that no one was eating and looked to be exactly what my wife ordered. As they were finishing up, we saw them get a to-go container to put the extra salad into. We overheard them say, we didn't pay for it so we're just going to take it home. Who does that? They knew it wasn't their's. Why did they take it? My wife did get her salad and they did not charge us for it but they should have been more organized. The food was good but my wife did not get her tortilla chips either. I've been coming to this location for over a decade. Service is ALWAYS friendly. I've grown to love the people that work/worked here. The cost of this delicious food is always a good surprise too. There's a reason there's a line out the door during lunch/dinner. I like the chicken, in a salad or burrito. But my biggest tip is to get your burrito wrapped to-go, because it WILL get messy without something to hold it all. Also, the cheese melts in the aluminum foil! This location is always clean too. I visited Mucho Gusto back in February. Mucho Gusto is a nice fast causal restaurant. It reminded me of Chipotle and Baja Fresh. I got a burrito bowl with carnitas. It was medium sized and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. It came with chips and salsa as well which was nice. The employees working were friendly and nice. Clearly they were slammed, but everything behind the counter was a huge sloppy mess and no one seemed to be cleaning anything. Ok, here's the truth. Is it Mexican food? Yes. Is it authentic homemade Mexican cooking? No. Is that a bad thing? Not at all, as long as you know what you're getting into. It has the same concept: You walk in, choose your type of "plate", choose your protein, choose your toppings, and choose any extras. Chips are included and they are delicious! They're very crunchy and have the right amount of salt. Definitely my favorite tortilla chips from any fast food Mexican restaurant. The staff has always been friendly, fast, and accurate with my orders. They also have beers and margaritas. I'm not a huge fan of margaritas, but many people say they're really good here. The biggest thing I need to highlight about Mucho Gusto is their ingredients. They really do look and taste fresh. I've never had a bad experience with my food. I usually order the same thing: Burrito with shredded beef, rice, black beans, lettuce, cabbage, cilantro, jalapeños, shredded cheese, cotija cheese, pico de gallo, green or red salsa, and cilantro sour cream. This is my "go to" order. Prices are fair, the place is clean, and they work fast. Keep in mind that it's a popular spot, and depending on the time and day, you may encounter a line out the door (especially with social distancing). I used to loooove Chipotle, but Mucho Gusto definitely does it better. I've tried going back to Chipotle but the food quality is not the same, service isn't that great, and their chips are horrible! They're either too salty or not crunchy enough. If you're looking for a new place to try, this is it. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do! Enjoyed a meal around 1230 in the afternoon on a Monday with friends. I ordered the burrito bowl which is one of my favorites from here! I get rice, black beans, beef, lettuce, cheddar cheese mix, cilantro, pico, and the cilantro lime sauce on top! It's so yummy! Always tastes fresh and delicious here. They have never disappointed or gotten an order wrong as they stand in front of you and pile on the toppings to your liking. Great concept of assembly line for orders. They're always efficient and really have their skills down. Lots of drink options including soda machine, margaritas, & more! I love coming here for a fresh and easy meal and usually leftovers to take home. I have to note we also catered from mucho gusto last September for our wedding and the food was just as fresh and delicious tasting catered as it was made fresh in front of me yesterday!
