After 3-5 years of driving past this food truck, I finally did it. I finally stopped and tried their tacos. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Their street tacos are pretty standard in terms of toppings. However, I think they have some of the best taco meat in town. (I've tried the carnitas, carne asada, and adobada pork.) Their lengua tacos are especially good, it just melts in your mouth and is perfectly seasoned. Their burritos and tortas are decent, nothing to write home about. The beans that come with their combos taste very thin (watered down maybe?) and the rice is also just okay... TMP is very close to our house and somehow it took us forever to stop and try it! Every time we'd pass by, myself or my husband would say "we should really try that truck some time." Well, our first encounter was with some breakfast burritos Breakfast Burritos (1x ham, 1x sausage) and YESSS. SO. GOOD. The next time, we called ahead to order for pick up and got 1x Asada and 1x Carnitas burrito. These were good, not great. A little on the bland side, though big and filling as you would expect from a taco truck. For the price and quick turnaround for pick up, we'll still keep coming back here....mostly just for those breakfast burritos. This truck is a gem for sure! Their street tacos are super cheap $2-$2.50 and the best meat I've had in town by far. We started coming here a few years ago for their breakfast burritos which are also great but recently we've started trying the rest of the menu and the only critic I have so far is that the tortas are remarkably slim and skimpy on ingredients but very flavorful. If you live closer into town it's a slight drive but so very worth it. read more

My husband just found this taco truck and being from San Diego I didn't want to get my hopes up. However the food was amazing. I got the street tacos and they tasted just like ones we would get in Mexico plus the price is great. $3.00 each. Definitely not your average food truck serving up Hispanic food. Seeing this place always busy, & heard good I decided to tryout. Sorry guys, when I ordered the $2 tacos I was asked if i want everything on, yes except onion. I ordered a side of beans. Upon arriving home the tacos were only meat, I thought everything on meant lettuce tomato cheese. I should've asked. The chicken meat was good. No side of beans in bag. I called let one of the guys know my name, next time I'll get. I drove back 3 miles that evening to get beans, got home and they were soupy runny beans and tasted like old water. If you like super flavorful marinated pork try the abobado. if you like a kick with spice ask them to make it hot. Stopped here for the first time today. I found the food to be below average and somewhat bland. A little hot sauce and salt would have probably livened it up a bit. The customer service was the worse though! The guy wasn't helpful and when I asked about hot sauce he threw one small one in the bag, said hot sauce cost extra and walked off. I would have gladly paid for a variety of hot sauces if he would have just said that instead of being rude and abrupt. I love taco trucks, unfortunately I won't be back to this one. It is a little out of the way but we were out swimming at fern ridge and it was the perfect snack after. The chips and salsa were disappointing for $3. I go here for the convenience and location of the taco truck. The price is pretty good for the taco meals. I would not say it's the best I have ever had because I have had some pretty dang good taco truck eats in C.A but I still stop and get them once in a while. I also get burrito's, and the fajita's. I like the pork fajitas better than the chicken it seemed to be more full of flavor. If they came in carne asada that is what I would get them in. I have never had bad service here and the food seems to be consistent. One day I just hope to get the flavor of the taco trucks from Cali! read more

We discovered this place when my girlfriend's brother was showing us around town after our arrival. We've been eating here for 2 years now and although the staff has changed somewhat the quality and quantity has remained the same. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican food experience, you can do no better than this little truck. The burritos are simply huge and extremely cheap, and they have a killer vegetarian option for those who eschew the carne. The street tacos are a personal favorite, served in a more authentic manner with heated corn tortillas and meat, cilantro and fixins, they are cheap and filling, although I recommend 2-3 for a meal. We usually order rice and sometimes a cheese quesadilla on the side for a full meal. You can eat a lot of authentically delicious food for under $15 for 2 people. By far the best taco truck in town. Since I have started eating here, I have noticed failings in other taquerias' offerings that I would not have been able to quantify before... Like how well the meats are marinated, or even down to how the meats are prepared (diced into small cubes, gristle and fat trimmed out very well) all of which adds to the overall flavor and quality more than I had realized. The adobada tacos are simply amazing as are the pollo tacos. The prices are very reasonable and even the refried beans and rice that come on the plates are memorable. This is a pretty good taco truck, not extraordinary, but the people are friendly and the good is no less than average. My favorite burrito there so far is the chile relleno. I would not recommend their chorizo breakfast burrito, it's relatively small and doesn't have any flavor to speak of. For the last year my teenager has been raving about some little taco truck parked in an empty lot off Hwy. 99. He offered to buy me dinner there tonight, so I finally went. Excellent prices and great food. I had a $5 pollo burrito, add guac.. it was yummy, flavorful, and so big & fat I could only eat half. Only complaint is not enough cilantro, I couldn't taste any actually. At my kid's insistence I also ordered a $1.50 chorizo taco, which I liked and ate every bite (not difficult since their what I'd call "petite" sized, and very tasty). I took a bite of my kid's marinated pork taco, and it tasted even better, then the chorizo taco. I washed it all down with a Tamarind flavored Jarritos soda. I'm still stuffed! Not the most flavorful Mexican food I've had in the area, but I do recommend trying the Taqueria Mi Pueblo truck. The old saying holds true...ya can't judge a book by it's cover. read more
