Nothing special about this coffee house, coffee is good, it's hot and it's pricey. On a cold Sunday morning expect a long wait.

I got a vanilla hazelnut oat milk latte and it was deliciousss! It was super enjoyable. The service was good too but the only thing I would say is I would've appreciated if my order got called out or something because I was sitting in the back and couldn't really see when my drink was out. The overall shop is pretty welcoming and has a cozy vibe to it. There is also plenty of sitting and makes a nice place to sit down and chat with family or friends.

Stopped by Java Ranch for a grab and go coffee and snack over the weekend. Coffee was good, could have been hotter. Sausage cheese biscuit was great, highlight the flaky biscuit. Very comfortable space, maintains the original architecture of the building on Main Street. Plenty of merch for those inclined. Nice place to visit for coffee and breakfast treat.

We stopped in here after checking out a couple other coffee shops in the area. I got their honey Lavender Latte and it was great. I would recommend stoping in!

Great coffee place. We got to try the iced blueberry breech matcha which was from their March special menu and blueberry muffin. Upon request, they were able to heat it up. Both items were really good and were around $10-11. Mix of old and modern vibes, will definitely recommend this.

Drink was a little darker than I would expect, but smooth (opted for oat milk). Service was excellence. Ambience was as expected for a busy Saturday - felt like a mini merit coffee. Also tasted the cinnamon pecan scone and it was decent. Would not fight a crowd to eat here, but if on the way I would not mind stopping by - just didn't stand out for me.

Good Coffee and good service. Passing through Fredericksburg on a Sunday morning and we were pleased to find Java ranch. Limited food items but that was not the reason for the stop.

Great little place right on Main Street for a quick breakfast bite. Fast, friendly service. There are a couple outdoor tables available or enjoy your breakfast in the cozy cafe. Highly recommend the French toast muffin!

Fun Saloon style and walk up coffee bar inside. Fun flavors, I had the Banana one. It was interesting. Not in a bad way, but I might want to try something different next time. Friendly service!

A beautiful coffee shop with lots of coffee choices and delicious pastries. I had a perfectly made hot latte and visited 3 times while I town. A definite must if you like coffee!

Cozy spot, great coffee. The cashier was very helpful she took time to explain the specials.

I come here many times when I visit Fredericksburg. Such a cute place to read a book, hangout with friends/family, and even work. Their coffee is delicious as well as their other none coffee drinks. They do have a small selection of smalls bites which is also taste. I would recommender the wrapped hotdog. The employees are quick and knowledgeable.

Cold brew with vanilla, caramel iced latte... yummmm! We started with zucchini fries and they were hot, crunchy and delicious. I had the brunch burger (it was huge!) with sweet potato fries. I love their sweet potato fries. Husband tried the special- biscuit love - says it's good for anyone who loves gravy and brunch dessert was the banana French toast - we got the banana on the side and a side of berries. Yum yum yum. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, substituting bacon for ham, with a biscuit and gravy on the side. The Eggs Benedict was good. I loved the unexpected touch of Swiss cheese, which added a nice twist to a classic dish. The hollandaise was a little on the sour side, but the bacon was cooked perfectly. The biscuit and gravy was the real star of my meal, so good that I almost wish I had ordered it as my main! Definitely getting that next time. My husband went for The Big Ass Sandwich and loved it. Fair warning- it lives up to its name. It's big, it's messy, and it's absolutely worth it. He said the same thing I was thinking: we need to come back. We'll definitely be returning on our next trip to Fredericksburg. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great breakfast spot with good food and even better service!

I was very excited to write this review about the positive experience and I had here. In my images, I showcase a beautiful French omelette. It is so easy for people to get omelettes wrong and overcook them until they are a rubbery mess. But mine was very soft, decadent, and fluffy with a very beautiful balance of all flavors present in the dish. I also appreciated the salad that came with it because I think starting the day off with some fiber is very healthy for the body. In the past, I've had the steak and eggs and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. But when I came to visit on this specific day, they were out and happily recommended the omelettes instead. It can get crowded, but I don't agree with the reviews here that say the restaurant gets too loud. Let's be honest. Fredericksburg has a certain type of demographic and at times I feel they are unfairly nitpicky to the local businesses. When the restaurant is crowded, it's lively and full of smiling faces and servers who are eager to serve and make sure that you enjoy your meal. Restaurant was also clean on our visit and the restrooms were well taken care of. I can't wait to come again for breakfast!

Sturdy enough to hold up the thick bacon, lettuce, tomato, mashed avocado and had a light layer of aioli that I appreciated did not take over the sandwich. The salad was light, tasty, & the glazed pecans were a special treat. The other dishes enjoyed were the Texas Triple and 1/2 Chicken salad sandwich with potato corn soup. When the dish arrived, however, the steak was clearly overcooked and closer to well done than medium-rare. When we raised the concern, the waiter claimed she had told us the meat would come out anywhere from medium-rare to well done due to how it sits in the warmer, and then suggested we must have misunderstood her initial explanation. This contradiction was frustrating and unprofessional, especially as it felt like our concern was being dismissed rather than addressed. Both the waiter and manager insisted the steak was cooked correctly, despite it clearly not being medium-rare. After we sent it back, they replaced it with a filet that was prepared properly. They did remove the original entrée from the bill, but then charged us for the filet at cost. Given the situation, it would have been more appropriate to simply substitute the filet at the original menu price. Unfortunately, my meal was also very underwhelming. The fish lacked flavor and was not enjoyable. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for a special anniversary dinner. I will say -- the hummus plate was delightful. Light and great flavor for an appetizer. The drinks were also very good too.

They were pretty booked up but as it was cold outside they let us switch our reservation from patio to bar seating. We really enjoyed our meal. The waiters were very attentive and happy to talk through the menu with us. Ultimately we decided on a pretzel as our appetizer, with lamb chops as our entree to share and a side of kasespatzle. The pretzel was warm and a nice size and we thoroughly enjoyed the beer cheese. We finished the cheese halfway through the pretzel and the waiters were kind enough to bring us another one. Next for the kasespatzle - which from my understanding is the German version of mac and cheese. It was very tasty and hearty! More filling than I expected. The lamb chops were the crown jewel of the night - rich and succulent and paired so well with the asparagus. The chef was kind enough to make another lamb chop for us as she saw how the meat shrunk while cooking it. The meal was so tasty and a good size for sharing! We were very full by the end. It's great the way it is, and trying to make it fancy doesn't make it better. But I've always thought that if a restaurant has only a few options on its menu, they had better all be great, and I didn't find that to be the case at Otto's. One of us had the schnitzel au gratin, which seemed more to be like a chicken Parmesan. I had the duck schnitzel. I would say they were just both OK. The fried potatoes that came with the au gratin schnitzel were left largely untouched on my companion's plate. There wasn't much flavor to my red cabbage, and my spaetzel seemed to be more like a modern day risotto. And this at a restaurant that makes you leave your credit card for a reservation and threatens to charge if you cancel less than 24 hours before. For that, it had better knock my socks off. But my socks are still on, and they won't be walking back to Otto's. Extra star for the great location.
