The Kaffee Haus is set in a historical limestone building off Main & Adams with two private adult only areas. Perfect for holding a small meeting or conference calls. It is hands down and twice over the best coffee shop in Fredericksburg in my opinion. The staff is very friendly. They greet their regulars by name and make you feel like family. Lori (owner) is absolutely the sweetest person. Besides coffee, tea, sodas, and bottled water, you will find a wonderful selection of homemade baked good, sandwiches, and starting next week, homemade chicken pot pies. read more

We've been visiting Fredericksburg and finally found a coffee shop worthy of a 5 star review. I ordered an Americano which was had a deep, rich flavor. My kind of coffee! The other coffee shops we've tried here all served watered down versions. My wife got sweetheart latte, which she thoroughly enjoyed as well. Staff is friendly. The place itself is very inviting. They have a nice outdoor area which I wish we could have tried, but alas, it was raining. read more

Cute and cozy little coffee shop with awesome coffee drinks. I didn't see that they had a baklava before I ordered my plain latte, and the barista kindly added the pistachio syrup to my drink. We arrived at this place because it appeared to have more table seating in which we're looking for outlets to use a computer. I'd suggest to get here early if you're looking for exactly that. We had our children with us if we could not use the 2 rooms marked " no children allowed". Only a few food Ireland available, in my opinion very bland and mediocre. We really enjoyed our stop at the Kaffee Haus. We went on a ghost tour the day before and the tour guides told us about how this coffee shop had opened in an old wheel repair shop. Upon going in, it was really cool to see how the shop had kept some of the fun details of an old shop throughout the place. There were lots of places to sit and get cozy. We ordered cold brew and a couple pastries. The kolache was amazing and the chocolate croissant rivaled some we had in Paris. The only thing is they didn't heat anything up (or ask if we wanted to) and that definitely would have raised the quality. read more

Koffee Haus Cute place with warm ambiance. Ordered what was noted as a "special": peppermint mocha. However when the bill rang up $8(!!!) I was too stunned to say anything and quickly noted that they simply charged a latte + peppermint syrup + mocha, then the extra for almond milk. Wow. I should have known something would be off when it given to me literally seconds later. So quick. It was New Year's Day so I didn't feel like being fussy and the staff seemed nice, but once I drank it.....it was watered down with barely any flavor or peppermint or mocha. read more

Beautiful atmosphere and they serve Greater Goods beans which is our favorite local roastery. No dairy milks available as well as seasonal favorites. However, I asked for a sf latte, they made me a hazelnut latte, no problem, they made me the correct one. I ordered a macaroon, they asked if I want a plain or chocolate, I said plain I got chocolate . So, that's 4/5 stars not 5/5. How do you mess up 2 items on a 3 item order? Yummy! Did a quick stop for morning coffee and ordered the seasonal pumpkin pie latte and German sausage kolache. Definitely left wanting more! When traveling, you're taken out of your normal morning routine and the coffee you know you love and it's never fun having to play Russian roulette trying to replicate your norm. So I went in here and just peeped at the menu. I decided to take a chance. I got the Americano, iced, adding vanilla and sweet cream. I was so stressed to take that sip, but it was delicious! Everyone took a sip to the point we had to go back and get everyone their own. They have some baked goods, and I decided for the chocolate cookie of course. It was huge and super yummy! I'll expand to more of their baked items on my next trip. There are other jams, shirts, bags, coffee beans, and more you can shop through and purchase as well. The service was friendly and now I know my go to coffee spot when in Fredricksburg! :) read more

Stumbled across this little gem of a shop in Fredericksburg. Enjoyed a hot brown sugar!cinnamon coffee and chocolate croissant. Also picked up a few ham and cheese croissants for lunch. Everything was delicious. The team here is super helpful, so come and feel like you're at home. This location has plenty of comfortable seating in various parts of the building. My only experience here is with the coffee... Actually a latte. Service was friendly and professional coffee was made in a acceptable amount of time. The taste was wonderful... No bitterness just good strong coffee and perfectly steamed milk. Not a large seating area... but very effective use of the space. I really enjoyed the vibe of the place and next time I'm in town. Best Coffee in FBG! We live here and my Wife and I have tried them all. We love the Chai, the Drip and Lattes. The Baristas' are great, Helpful, Friendly, and happy that you come in for a visit. Kaffe Haus is a nice spot to grab a snack and some coffee before you head out of town or you embark to visit the wineries. Serving all your favorite drinks and also bakery items as well. I especially enjoyed the kolaches and was great fuel before I went out on a hike to Enchated Rock. The staff is friendly, inside is a little small. Their espresso is amazing. I got an iced vanilla latte. It wasnt too sweet which is always a concern for me. The cafe is super cute and even have a "no kids" couch room, if youre looking for a little bit of quiet. If what you are looking for is just a nice cup of Joe on your way in or out of town, this establishment would perfectly suit your needs. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, willing to make your coffee just the way you like it. As others have written, it is a cute little shop sharing space with another cute little women's shop so you can take advantage of a twofer (two for one) experience. The prices are moderate, the quality is good and space is at a premium, but this is the kind of experience many enjoy. Stop in and have yourself coffee and a pastry. You won't regret it. read more

The service is always so great and everyone is always smiling and friendly! Seriously, this alone goes SO far to making an "in and out quick" place a hit. It's always clean inside too. They're great whether we drive thru or go inside. Though I will say that the drive thru and parking can be tough. It's a small place with a small parking lot and the drive thru can't go anywhere except straight thru the lot. I'd suggest parking next door behind the dollar store (easier entry, easier exit). It's hard to make bad donuts. That, or I've just been lucky my whole life. But my picky son actually orders something different quite often here and always enjoys it. The jalapeño kolaches (I'll not get into the argument about what constitutes a kolache) that I typically order are always great! They have a wide selection of breakfast sweets and a fair amount of non-sweets too. Their beverage options are just as varied. A ton to choose from and they even added specialty coffees to the menu a while back. I've had a caramel frappuccino and can say from experience that it's every bit as good as, if not better than, the one I get for a significant price hike at Starbucks. If donuts is what you want for breakfast I would recommend this place without hesitation!
