Such a cool building! Staff is super helpful and the place is very clean. We just popped in for a coffee mid shopping trip. The coffee was a perfect pick me up and the pastry we're saving for this evening. It wasn't too busy until the rain started so we had the place almost to ourselves for a bit. The perfect place to rest your feet and regain energy for more shopping!

Stopped by the pharmacy on our way out of the city! We had an iced butterscotch latte and a vanilla latte for the road! Both were absolutely delicious! Service was fast and efficient! They even make their own syrups which are all delicious! The pastries looked delicious but we had plans for breakfast so we'll have to come back another day and try those!

My husband and I walked by while shopping in Fredericksburg and had to try some of their pastries because they looked so good. We went with Lemon Kolache and Oatmeal Cream Pie. Both were fantastic. I would happily go back and try anything they make because I'm sure it's all delicious.

The Pharmacy is a coffee shop and has a really cool historic vibe. I got a cup of coffee and it was good. The barista was a cool dude and very friendly. It's part of the Albert Hotel so expect this place to be kept up well.

We had breakfast here and it was really good and the space is super cute! It's little pricey but it is part of the Albert Hotel so to be expected :)

I was please to see they were opened in the evening when we arrived! I had seen it on social media so I was excited to try! It did not disappoint. I got an iced butterscotch latte with oat milk. DELISH! The syrups are house made and you can tell. We also tried the snickerdoodle cookie and the lemon poppy seed scone. Sooooo fresh, buttery, with the perfect firm but soft texture! Great pastries. The barista was very nice and patient with us as new comers and gave great recommendations. The ambiance is so captivating as well. I spent the entire time I was waiting on our drink just walking around and looking at everything.

Great coffee, sweet service, beautiful interior perfect for sitting and contemplating the day ahead. I had a simple espresso and sausage kolache. To me, this is the perfect meal, a strong kick of espresso with a kolache and a spot to people watch and chat with the person sitting next to me.

Egg and cheese slider, cinnamon roll, ham & cheese croissant, house drip coffee, caramel latte

We stopped at The Pharmacy in downtown Fredericksburg for coffee and breakfast before hiking Enchanted Rock. It was the perfect spot for a quick bite to eat right in the middle of downtown! The coffee shop is super cute and the decor makes you feel so cozy. I ordered a hot caramel latte, ham & cheese croissant, and split a pecan cinnamon roll with my boyfriend. He ordered drip coffee, a chorizo and egg taco, and an egg and cheese slider. We originally wanted something small before we hiked but everything looked so yummy we had to try a little bit of everything! The latte was solid but nothing amazing. The ham & cheese croissant was delicious and had a Dijon mustard filling that I wasn't expecting but was still yummy! The taco and slider were also a hit. The star of the show was the pecan cinnamon roll! So flavorful and the cream cheese icing was to die for! They were very busy but the service was great and super friendly! I would definitely come back to study, work or read. It's the perfect environment to get work done, people watch, and then enjoy the rest of downtown afterwards.

I got a vanilla matcha extra sweet since I tend to not like the grassy taste of it and the barista here helped me a lot especially because I'm indecisive. She even made it sweeter than usual because I explained to her that I love my sweetness in the matcha. I tried it and it was perfect! She even let me know if I needed it sweeter that she could do that. The overall shop was so cute too. I'm only stopping by for vacation but when I come back in the area I will definitely be back!

I got a decaf latte with almond milk and cinnamon and it was delicious.

The coffee is great! We bought a chocolate chip cookie and it was so delicious! The staff is super friendly and the shop is quiet, spacious and beautiful! I will definitely be coming back!

All we tried was the peach pound cake. It was exquisite!! Loaded with 2 layers of peach filling and a sugary topping. A little pricy at $5. But a great treat. The inside is very cute and quiet.

If I could give this coffee shop 10 stars I would. My coffee loving heart loved everything about this spot. It was a former pharmacy and kept the historic feel as well as some of the pharmacy decor. I noted for a peppermint mocha cold brew that was soooo creamy and to die for! Also took a homemade oatmeal cream pie and ginger snap to go. Check out this cute spot on Main St.

They updated their porch to have more coverage which will be great once summer really hits. Inside is great too. We've sat in all the areas. We went all out for our brunch date (mom & dad time out). Cold brew with vanilla, caramel iced latte... yummmm! We started with zucchini fries and they were hot, crunchy and delicious. I had the brunch burger (it was huge!) with sweet potato fries. I love their sweet potato fries. Husband tried the special- biscuit love - says it's good for anyone who loves gravy and brunch dessert was the banana French toast - we got the banana on the side and a side of berries. Yum yum yum. Soft and pillowy. Thank you Sam! See you soon :)

I ordered the Eggs Benedict, substituting bacon for ham, with a biscuit and gravy on the side. The Eggs Benedict was good. I loved the unexpected touch of Swiss cheese, which added a nice twist to a classic dish. The hollandaise was a little on the sour side, but the bacon was cooked perfectly. The biscuit and gravy was the real star of my meal, so good that I almost wish I had ordered it as my main! Definitely getting that next time. My husband went for The Big Ass Sandwich and loved it. Fair warning- it lives up to its name. It's big, it's messy, and it's absolutely worth it. He said the same thing I was thinking: we need to come back. We'll definitely be returning on our next trip to Fredericksburg. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great breakfast spot with good food and even better service!

I was very excited to write this review about the positive experience and I had here. In my images, I showcase a beautiful French omelette. It is so easy for people to get omelettes wrong and overcook them until they are a rubbery mess. But mine was very soft, decadent, and fluffy with a very beautiful balance of all flavors present in the dish. I also appreciated the salad that came with it because I think starting the day off with some fiber is very healthy for the body. In the past, I've had the steak and eggs and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. But when I came to visit on this specific day, they were out and happily recommended the omelettes instead. It can get crowded, but I don't agree with the reviews here that say the restaurant gets too loud. Let's be honest. Fredericksburg has a certain type of demographic and at times I feel they are unfairly nitpicky to the local businesses. When the restaurant is crowded, it's lively and full of smiling faces and servers who are eager to serve and make sure that you enjoy your meal. Restaurant was also clean on our visit and the restrooms were well taken care of. I can't wait to come again for breakfast!

They stuffed so many tables into such a small space. The coffee cups were filled all the way to the top so we couldn't add anything to them. The matcha martini was ok, truffle fries were cooked to perfection. Our pancakes were black and burnt to a crisp then "hidden" under powered sugar. Same thing with the monte cristo. Disappointed with several things on this visit the bathroom also did not have toilet paper.

I love the set up of the main dining room. I'm always a fan when you can see the kitchen preparing the dishes from your table. Hill and vine pairs their excellent food with some amazing local wines. We had Kristen as our server, she was so attentive and sweet. To start we tried the sweet cornbread, lavender mint lemonade, and regular lemonade. The lavender mint lemonade was one of the best drinks I've had in a while. For our meals he had the BLTA with fries and I had the avocado and lime salad with tri tip steak. Absolutely stellar food, quality ingredients and great flavors. We had leftovers for sure, lol, something to eat on the drive back to DFW the next day. For dinner, we sat outside and had Jess as our server. She was also really nice, she had quite a few tables and still managed to give us plenty of attention. We had carnitas nachos and the ground beef soup. The carnitas nachos are... unnecessarily large. lol Luckily the soup bowl was very small so I was able to help the boyfriend with some nachos. But my small effort was not enough and he tapped out of the nachos at the halfway mark. Highly recommend the nachos if you have four friends with you. =D This was a great restaurant with a lovely outdoor space. If we lived in Fredericksburg, I could easily see us making this a monthly hang out on Friday nights. If you have the chance, make sure to get in with Kristen or Jess, you won't be disappointed.

Unfortunately, this experience felt less like a restaurant opening and more like a dress rehearsal no one stopped. First problem: location confusion. We went to what turned out to be their second spot--which, crucially, was not called Nurys on the sign. Same ownership, new space, old identity crisis. Walking in felt like entering a building that hadn't yet decided what it wanted to be when it grew up. The lingering aroma? A strange duet of fish, antiseptic, and industrial cleaning agents. Not hunger-inducing. More "urgent care with a fryer." There was no one there, which made sense--it was between brunch and lunch--but somehow the wait for food felt disproportionately long for what arrived. What arrived, sadly, was mediocrity wearing a Tex-Mex costume. They seemed to be aiming for Tex-Mex but landed somewhere closer to Tex-Flex--stretching flavors thin until they snapped. The barbacoa was fatty in a way that suggested less "slow-cooked tradition" and more "glistening regret." It didn't taste authentic, or even especially intentional. Just heavy. The guacamole--perhaps the most unforgivable offense--was bad. Guacamole is avocados, salt, lime, and love. That's it. This had none of the above. The waitstaff wasn't rude, exactly--just possessed by the clear energy of people who would prefer you to finish quickly so they could resume their real lives. Hospitality should feel like an invitation, not a countdown. Now, maybe the original Nurys is wonderful. I hope it is. But if that's the case, why open a second location only to phone it in? Expansion should mean excellence multiplied, not care divided. There are too many good places in Fredericksburg doing things right to settle for something half-hearted. This one wasn't terrible--it was worse. It was forgettable. And that's the real disappointment.

Right away, the service felt off. Our waitress didn't even ask if we wanted drinks before jumping straight to, "Are you ready to order food?" Then she disappeared for long periods, even though we were basically her only table besides one other couple. The food was extremely underwhelming -- basic, barely warm, and nothing memorable. On top of that, there were so many flies inside that we were nonstop swatting them away. And to make matters worse, there was a bug in my drink when it was served to me. That was pretty much the final straw. Overall, a very forgettable and disappointing experience. We probably won't come again, and I would not recommend it.
