    Wine flight (you choose 4)
    Harris N.

Good place you can just relax at the lake and sip a wine. I ordered the flight but the one at the counter was a bit rude answering my questions. Overall it is a place I'd recommend for Fredericksburg, and think it's better here experience here than Grape Creek Vineyards.

I loved this property! It is a truly special place where you can sip a glass of wine and enjoy nature. We were there as they opened so it was nice and quiet. The shop was full of yummy treats. This is a unique experience. I would like to visit again when the distillery is open.

    The view!

Best grilled cheese I've ever had. Third time here and all their food is so good. The outside venue can't be beat. So beautiful and peaceful. Wine. Food. Atmosphere. They have it all.

First time here.... They served sandwiches etc and of course, wine , cheese... also available outside are "food trucks" and we didn't know until we walk out towards the "pond"... Great place to chill... beautiful pine trees ...

This place is a must if you're in town. I love peaches and during the summer heat what better way to experience the flavor than to stop here? So much charm and space. Enjoy tasting inside and then take on the view and a sip out by the water. It was so peaceful and relaxing. If you want to cool down try the amaretto peach sundae. It's a rich creamy vanilla ice cream with chunks of fresh peaches and pecans toppef amaretto syrup and whipped cream. It's like a scoop of fall during the summer. They have so many cool flavors of jams and sweets it'll be hard to choose just one. Try the wine pairing. I really enjoyed the peach wine it was sweet and subtle and refreshing. I opted for a full glass of that post tasting

The incredible thing is I went here over a decade ago and go this incredible Smokey glaze from here! I couldn't remember the name of this place but remember it had a pond in the back and it was a wood building with a bunch of charcuterie and wine items inside. Lawd and behold, I returned back to Fredericksburg and by a quick google search, I was so surprise to find this place is still open and going strong! Das Peach Haus have been open for a long time and I was just so thrilled to see how many new items there was inside! I was dieing when I saw rhe Smokey glaze was still available!! I grabbed a few bottles! They have samples and you can try different items they have! Pasta sauce, salsa, jams, jelly, seasoning, olive oil, hot sauce, and so much more! Our favorites: 4/5 Peach salsa! Has a kick! And the peach is so good in it! Small Chunks which is perfect! 5/5 Smokey glaze: this stuff is goes well with everything! Love it on baked salmon. Cream cheese and glaze. Pork beef chicken.. it's Smokey sweet salty. Just yummy and a favorite in our household. 5/5 whiskey glaze: very close to the smoked glaze but there a chunk of something and not Smokey. We tried this for the first time and loved it too. Sweet salty glaze. 5/5 Pistachio jalapeño brittle: I wish we grabbed more!! Tried a sample and it has a kick of jalapeño and it's the best brittle I ever had! The pistachio is so good with the jalapeño! Must try! 5/5 Hot peach salsa: it's more spicy than regular peach salsa but it's perfect for the peeps like Louie a little more heat! They have baked desserts and wine tasting there! Next door is their new brewery they just opened. There's food trucks there too. Such a relaxing place with the outdoor scenery! Do we recommend this place ? Yes! Our visit there, Das Peach Haus employee, Efrain, went above and beyond to recommend us stuff. He was friendly and informative! Outstanding employee and made our visit at Das Peach Haus such a great experience! If you are the owner or manager at Das Peach Haus, you should give him a raise and a reward! We can't wait to return to restock our staple favorites from Das Peach Haus! Must visit when you're in Fredericksburg! Don't skip this place!

Das Peach Haus is a must visit in my books when in Fredericksburg! The spot is full of tasty jams, salsa, marinades, and most important wine! We got a tasting flight and took it out back by the pond to enjoy! Even though we came in with the intention of not getting any bottles of wine we ended up getting 3 of their country peach for ourselves and as souvenirs for friends! The pond out back is a great spot to relax and hang out with friends and family! there's plenty of shaded areas to fight the TX heat and tons of space for kids to run around! You can even buy fish food to feed the fish in the pond or even the turtles! We ended up leaving with plenty of jams, salsas, and all kinds of other goodies! The staff had plenty of recommendations and even told us how the family owned winery has expanded into several other endeavors! Overall we would recommend stopping by!!

We enjoyed our time here. We went during the week so it wasn't crowded at all. We chose this place for the proximity and the overall relaxed atmosphere. It helped that the wine tasting was affordable. The staff was friendly and had great recommendations for our tasting. We enjoyed our tasting by the pond which was very relaxing. The wines very much we enjoyed as well. We like sweet wines and our favorite was the hill country peach but I didn't have one I didn't enjoy. We stopped in the store to browse and I picked up a salted Carmel brownie...very delicious. Rich, decadent...just perfect.

This was the perfect spot to end our visit in Fredericksburg. An adorable store surrounded by beautiful scenery. You'll find a variety of products inside from preserves to salsas and even wine tasting. After we were done with our shopping, we headed to the rear of the store, where you'll find a nice sized pond with picnic tables, chairs, and outdoor games surrounding the pond. We took our snacks and drinks and had a relaxing moment. The pond is filled with fish and turtles and they sell food inside the store for $1 to feed them. We did hold off on buying some peach products on the main shopping street in Fredericksburg and found that this store did not carry peach salsa or peach syrup. We headed back to that area just in time to grab those items before they closed.

    Wine and view

The weather was nice to enjoy some wine tasting with my daughter! The staff were friendly and well educated about the wines they had available. There were games people can play and chairs one can just relax and enjoy the weather, company, and wine! Unfortunately there were not anymore charcuterie left for us to enjoy with wine. The staff were friendly and well educated about the wines they had available.

The scenary here is beautiful and such a vibe, would come back for just that. The peach cobbler was mid for the price & serving, but probably would get again anyways lol

Beautiful place to relax and enjoy wine and snacks

I love coming to Das Peach Haus, aesthetically it's beautiful and the wine selection is great. They also have great snacks you can purchase or enjoy while enjoying the beautiful backyard that oversees a pretty pond. There's lots of seating and the staff are super friendly and seem to really enjoy giving customers a unique experience.

4 stars mainly for the ambiance: lovely lake, and surrounding trees that give decent shade - a luxury in Central Texas!! They got live music on the weekend and nice outdoor seating. They sell a bunch of sauces, jams, crackers, mustard, etc. inside The wines and fresh food served are not that great. We got the wine flight and tried a mix of white/peach wine and red. Wine is under-aged most of them is 2024 wines, they are not tasty. The peach cobbler has a doughy texture and canned peaches flavors. The vanilla ice cream on the side helped a lot but overall the dish is kinda disappointing considering this place is called Peach Haus. Nice spot to visit though for the views and seating experience.

I highly recommend making a reservation vs just showing up. There was indoor and outdoor seating. It was hot so sitting inside was perfect. Our waitress was nice and knowledgeable about the wine. We enjoyed the wine and chocolates. We also visited Joanna's market which is on the property that has snacks and other food. We bought a bag of Torres truffle chips and were obsessed! Defined by scenic…read morelandscapes, rolling hills, and the gentle sounds of a breeze through the trees, the peaceful atmosphere for this family estate is quite appealing. The Signor's and Weisinger's have not only had a rich history of farming in the state but have also ventured into winemaking. Already seasoned stewards of the land, they knew quite well the rewards of hard work and patience. The Weisinger family began their winemaking journey in Oregon's Rogue Valley region before collaborating with their Signor friends. Situated on a bluff between the Pedernales and Grape Creek River, the current site on HWY 290 was acquired in 2010 with vines planted in 2015. The following year, they opened a tasting room. The estate grows 7 red varietals across two dozen acres: Tempranillo, Touriga Nacional, Tannat, Mourvèdre, Sangiovese, Malbec, and Montepulciano. Additionally, they source grapes from vineyards near Fort Davis. The Member's tasting room is quite beautiful and truly stunning. Its décor just blends right into the landscape. Adjacent to that is an expansive outdoor patio. There are outside tasting tables on the patio with scenic views. The other enclosed tasting room is the harvest room with large indoor seating with views of the vineyard. Michael Barton has been leading their winemaking, adding his special touch of greatness to these wines. Starting off with the '20 Sauvignon Blanc, this wine was sourced from Oregon's Rouge Valley which was quite aromatic with kiwi and passionfruit notes. The 2nd white was the '23 Chardonnay. Also sourced from Rogue Valley, citrus notes were pronounced followed by pears. The23 'Mama Said There'd Be Days Like This' was an interesting Muscat blend. It was sourced from Texas Hill Country fruit with 25% each of Marsanne and Roussanne in addition to Muscat. It was quite a treat to have with honeysuckle and peach notes. For their Rosé wine, the '24 Rose of Mourvèdre was sampled. This Texas High Plains fruit had strawberry and melon notes. Moving on to the reds, the first one to try was the '22 Sangiovese with fruit from the High Plains. It poured a light red hue with herbal notes and good acids. Following that one was the '21 Dolcetto. This red wine with grapes sourced from the Rogue Valley expressed itself as light bodied with cherry notes. The '23 High Plains Tempranillo had a good balance of oak with dark berries and a dash of pepper. Cab Franc lovers never fear, their '21 Rogue Valley bottle was wonderful - spice, pepper and a rich deep feel. The Hudspeth County '23 Petit Verdot was next. This West Texas sourced beast was rich and bold with dark cherries, a touch of cocoa, and just the right level of tannins. The '22 Touriga was sipped and savored too - a smooth red wine with a classic strong nose, black pepper and excellent tannins. Next was the '21 Mozzafiato. This blend of Barbera, Primitivo, Sangiovese, and Dolcetto (Rogue Valley) was well balanced with a lingering feel. For the the '21 Estate Tannat, this big bold red envelops your palate with that full mouth feel of rich dark cherries and medium tannins. Finally, the '22 Grand Pere was poured. This mighty red wine was blended with equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc (Rogue Valley). It had beautiful notes of blackberries and plums, plus a nice balance making this wine quite versatile. Every wine on the wine tasting menu, (and a few unlisted) was simply fantastic! There is more that could be said about their history, initiatives, and of course the quality of wine here, but that should be saved for a future mini novel. The staff provided top service, offering guidance throughout each wine tasting session. Do check out Joanna's Market as well, which is in a classic farmhouse style home. There is an onsite kitchen offering a variety of options, but do try their famous Pozole. Your visit will impress you and leave you looking forward to a return stop again soon. Cheers!

I had a group visiting from California and they wanted to visit both the California wineries here in Texas, as well as some of the Texas wineries that buy 100% Texas Grapes.
