My go-to spot for relaxation on stressful days. I adore the flower covered walk ways and beautiful lake in the back surrounded by large pine trees. The only issue is that it closes early and is super packed on weekends with limited parking. My best option has been coming for lunch when possible during the week. It is absolute heaven enjoying their peach Moscato with a good book while catching some vitamin D as butterflys flutter around me. I don't care what type of day I'm having, this place makes it better instantly. They often have great deals. The last time I went they gave me some free cheese sticks with my purchase. It was very nice of the workers to let me sample a few options before deciding, and the customer service was smiley and friendly just as you would expect for such a classy and beautiful spot. What a gem! It was so fun browsing and sampling all the different products they had to offer! We bought a bottle of the raspberry chipotle sauce after sampling. They sell homemade ice cream in a few different flavors. My husband got the chocolate one with pecan and cranberry inclusions and I decided on the peach, both so delicious! We enjoyed our frozen treats out back sitting next to the relaxing pond that had turtles and fish swimming within view. They even had fish food you can buy for $1 to feed them! Before leaving we checked out the smaller separate building where they sell fudge, chocolates, brittles, and popcorn, with a small selection of fudge samples to try. Everyone was so friendly! This was the perfect spot to end our visit in Fredericksburg. An adorable store surrounded by beautiful scenery. You'll find a variety of products inside from preserves to salsas and even wine tasting. After we were done with our shopping, we headed to the rear of the store, where you'll find a nice sized pond with picnic tables, chairs, and outdoor games surrounding the pond. We took our snacks and drinks and had a relaxing moment. The pond is filled with fish and turtles and they sell food inside the store for $1 to feed them. We did hold off on buying some peach products on the main shopping street in Fredericksburg and found that this store did not carry peach salsa or peach syrup. It has changed over the years adding a culinary kitchen, air stream trailers, a tiny house and of course they have a beautiful pond. Such a charming place to visit. I'm not a huge wine drinker so I really didn't know what to get so I decided to get what the employees recommended which was the peach moscato and the blackberry wine. Both tasted very good but the blackberry was my favorite! Inside the store there are so many jams, oils, and spreads you can sample from; everything tasted delicious and fresh. Highly recommended by a friend, we made a quick stop on our way out of Fredericksburg. It's a beautiful, well kept spot, located near a gorgeous pond surrounded by trees. As I was on my way out of Fredericksburg, I saw Das Peach Haus and decided to stop. On the way out to my car the strangest thing happened. I dropped my phone, and it fell through the slit between two pieces of wood. There was no way to get underneath the wooden walkway. The only way to retrieve my phone was to unscrew one piece of wood in order to grab my phone. Luckily one was very loose and an employee was able to lift the piece of wood and grab my phone for me. The staff was so helpful and so kind, and I felt bad that they went out of their way to do that for me. read more

When I first learned about Das peach Haus and read about their peach cobbler, I was sold and stopped reading lol. I'm glad it was an overall pleasant surprise/experience for our first time visiting. It's not only a "self serve" winery but a culinary school, a bakery and the home to a beautiful and serene landscape outside on their property! I wanted seconds but decided not to because I will be returning frequently!
