My wife and I spent the evening in Boerne and made a trip to Fredericksburg to get our wine…read moreshipment from another vineyard. We decided to try something new this time around. We were kind of concerned as it is in the opposite direction of all the other places. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host in the outside foyer and taken to our table ( they take reservations but we did not have one). We were sat and promptly greeted by our server. She explained the options for tasting to us and informed us that there was a food truck onsite as well. We opted to do the red wine tasting . The tasting started with a Grenache ( full bodied, very fruity but not sweet) the grapes really shine, next was the Sangiovese which was even better. We went through a series of 5 wines that all were made with exceptional care as none were left to waste. My favorite was the 1 Sangiovese, 2 Grenache, 3 Tempranillo. We also purchased a pizza from the food truck onsite. It was a margarita pizza ( large enough for two to share as a medium snack). If your hungry you made need more. They have more than pizza as well. We bought a bottle of Sangiovese and will definitely return. Excellent live performer and extraordinary service !!

With the Valentine's holiday it looked a little busy but the hostess got us seated right away. Laurie conducted our tasting and we was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. We did the red tasting. All of the wines were delicious. My favorite was the Grenache. Followed by the Sangiovese which was a strong second. It paired excellently with the pizza.

The staff is knowledgeable and they do a great job walking you through the wines and making recommendations based on what you like. We had the Zinfandel and the Sauvignon Blanc--both were excellent. The Zinfandel was bold and smooth, and the Sauvignon Blanc was crisp and refreshing. Honestly, they never miss here. This place nails the Fredericksburg wine country vibe. Relaxed, clean, and just the right balance of upscale and comfortable. It's easy to settle in and lose track of time. We'll definitely be back--this is one of those spots that's reliably great every time.

I brought my mom, partner and family. We traveled from San Antonio. I loved it so much I became a member and took home 3 bottles!! It was around Christmas time so there was also a tree decorated. The tasting room has lots of natural light. I live in Atl and I am glad I picked this spot. Their story also drew me and how Kalasi is intentional in everything they do! From the labels, snacks, names of wines, to the water cups. You can also see llamas, sheep, and horses on the land around. Beautiful area. Outside the area they have lawn chairs, to sit outside and tables on the outside. Lot of space for dogs and big groups. Thanks Jay, Kalasi Cellars and (The owners and dreamers and doers-) Nikhila & Greg! I will be back soon and will definitely be bringing other friends along!

And they have a lot to brag about! Kalasi is 100% estate grown, 100% Texas fruit, organic, woman led. The wines are really great and they offer some unique offerings (including teroldego). Customer service here was unlike any other winery experience I've ever had. Only thing keeping this from 5 stars for me is I think the inside seating and decor could be improved. I would love to see more bright colors/fabrics to go along with the theme.

Dan McCoy, the owner made an appearance & kindly brought us chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered marshmallows, & jalapeno peanut brittle. I failed to snap a pic. We also got to taste their jalapeno peanut brittle & the caramel popcorn. I had their Lambrusco & the hubs paired with Pinot Noir. Highly recommend visiting & everyone in town seems to know & like Dan as well & several of the Main Street establishments sale his chocolates as well but visiting their establishment was a treat!
