    Yummy mead wine

Amazing service! Very kind and friendly environment. The wine is interesting and good in the best way!!!

Small little winery located in Fredericksburg Tx. We went for my nieces birthday which was nice cause they were able to accommodate us for being such a large group. The women working that day were very sociable and let us sample the wines before purchasing. I ended up getting the strawberry mimosa which I really liked! It was really sweet. You can purchase by the glass or bottle. The only thing I didn't like was that one of the ladies kept making comments about our height. We're a short family. Once or twice ok it was funny haha. But she kept going and going every time we went up to get a drink. After a while it wasn't funny anymore.

This place was AWESOME! A really great variety of wines and meads that I wasn't expecting. Lovely set up; books, games, poker, this places has an excellent vibe. My husband and I had lively conversations with the owner and couldn't resist coming back. Out of all the wineries in Fredericksburg, this is the only one we visited more than once. AND we plan to come back again and again! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Warm welcome! 6 wine tastings for $22 Our wine connoisseur was very helpful, sweet, real, and understood exactly what we wanted. I was very conflicted and she was very patient with me. She did give me samples of anything I asked for which I really appreciate because her meads were very flavorful! They have more of the sweet and mead wines but they have 2 dries and they were very gooood! There is seating outside which shares with fiesta winery right across and there is unique seating inside with entertainment such as games. The poker table kept us entertained for about 2 hours. Great place and I would suggest to stop by and check it out yourself!

My wife and I had a fabulous time here! We snuck in at 5:45pm just before closing and never felt rushed to leave. Both hostesses waited on us and we loved the fun conversations we had about life, etc and alcohol too. We both ordered different flights of 6 for only $18 and sharing is ok here at 6 shooter too. The raspberry mead had such an amazing flavor and smell, and the Minstrel's mead was dangerously smooth and sweet. Our fav may have been the Mango Mimosa custom spiked (at the suggestion of our hostess) with a splash of their Hot & Bothered Jalapeño spicy mead = Boom! Fun decor, just be yourself here!

I LOVED this place! Barb, the owner, is so freaking hilarious and soo generous, she absolutely makes the experience. She was a wide selection of sweet wines and meads. The price you can't beat, 6 tastings of your choice for $22?! We will for sure keep coming back here every year. (P.s. she has 2 pet raccoons)

Bought these awesome sturdy wine glasses with the cutest saying! There all sorts of fun wine glasses you can buy.

Six Shooters is one of our all time favorite wineries in Fredericksburg!! The wines are mostly sweet and the meads are as well which is exactly what I love! The atmosphere is very inviting and cute!! Lots of great shopping from cute and funny wine cups to fun dog toys and pretty jewelry. Barb, the owner is so sweet and funny!! We always end up staying for hours and having a blast!! She is very knowledgeable on all wines and meads and also gives very good local recommendations. Defiantly stop here while in FBG!! *alson if you like cherry and sweet... The cherry chocolate port ,Rodeo red, & sweet cherry wine are our favs !! These are My favorite wines ever. Cheers!

Love the space and atmosphere of this place. They had a poker table, fun dog lover stuff and couches for relaxing. The owner was fantastic, love her! She greeted us immediately and was very informative of the establishment and others.

Great mead!! I'm personally a huge fan of mead so I may be biased but this Twas excellent! A lot of choices so be prepared for that! It's an quaint little place and the decor is super cool. Actually, my sister bought something off the wall. The employee Zach texted the owner how much it was even though she wasn't there and she responded quickly. Such a cool little spot and once again have to mention our man Zach! He was great, funny, and very professional about the meads. He should definitely be recognized! Again, awesome mead and great atmosphere there. Glad we stopped and will definitely recommend to anyone coming through!

We all fell in love with one of their Rosés -- easily one of our favorites of the day. Plus, we had a private room all to ourselves, and it was the cutest space, with a charming book wall and unique rustic decor. It made the whole experience feel intimate and perfect for our group. I also love that Barelle is a woman-owned vineyard, and all the wines they produce and serve come from female winemakers. It's such a great touch that makes me want to support them even more. All in all, Barelle Vineyards nailed it for us. Great wine, an amazing vibe, and fantastic service. It was the perfect place to celebrate, and I'll definitely be back!

All of their wines are brought in from Italy from a family winery in Tuscany. The Andreucci family has been making wine for over two centuries. According to their history, in 1810 the quartermaster for the French Army purchased wine from the Andreucci family to serve Napoleon's troops while they were in Italy. A reproduction of the receipt issued by the French Army is shown on the label of a number of their wines. Even back then they had a reputation for making exceptional wines. The facility is small and very bright and open, with a bar for tasting and seating ares as well. It is adjacent to the Alstadt Brewery along 290 and easy to get to. Plenty of parking is available as well. We were greeted by a lovely Italian woman (Erica) who served as our sommelier. She was an energetic and vibrant person who fully described all the nuances of each of the 5 wines we tasted. While some wineries offer a pre-defined list of tasting options, Andreucci has you select 5 wines from their entire offering list. I am more of a red wine drinker (though I do also like some whites) and my wife prefers whites, so it made for a nice option to be able to select what we wanted individually. I selected the Black Label Cabernet, Montepulciano, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Grillo. My wife also chose the Chardonnay and Grillo, as well as the Donna Alma, Primitivo, and Prosecco. Erica even brought out a sample of some amazing cheese to try with the red offering. Perfecto! All the wines we tasted were very good, and we settled on purchasing a bottle of the Black Label Cabernet and one of the Grillo. They offer a wine club membership (as most all wineries do now) and offer a red club, white club, and premium club option. No membership fees. We will definitely return to this lovely location and try some additional wines next time!

I guess since they moved, their numerous customers have followed them, as the new building ( very nicely done) can take more people now. I'm sure they have their familiar faces who got larger samples, as I noticed. When brought to the attention of the person who appeared to be in charge, he just said," I would have to charge you more, if you want more." It was perhaps meant as a joke, but I didn't think it was funny. While the wine is good especially Nobilo Black Label, this kind of business should never consider a walk in as inferior customer. EACH customer is a potential return customer, a potential member of their elite "wine club"....! One can never assume .... They have enough business that my negative comment will not affect them. After 5 years of visiting this winery, I will go elsewhere.

But, it's basically that (although there wasn't much of it yet, just some flowers to see) and garden decor, pots, gifts, wine, pickled things, plants and LOTS of wildflower seeds to plant at home. The plants, some were decently priced, most were a little pricier. Just depends on which ones. Majority of the ones we wanted were a little better price wise vs going to home depot, at least we think so! We walked around the adventure trail (since it was free) to get some steps in and have the kids burn some of their energy out while roaming around (minus my toddler, she would want to run away and fast haha so I changed my mind on that idea). The trail itself was open, spacious and a great way to get some fresh air. You can be lucky enough to catch some glimpses of some flowers that could be sprouting out even though there's not much! The shops: they had different types of store fronts, one for food/snack/pickled items alongside a small cafe where you can order beer and wine, another for more accessories, clothing and some planting items too! They had standing wine tasting area near the trail walking area if you want to walk around with some wine. Parking: so much parking, so definitely not to worry although I can image it being more difficult when the flowers really bloom in their field.
