This winery (actually a tasting facility) is a little different from the normal wineries in and around Fredricksburg. It doesn't offer any Texas wines. All of their wines are brought in from Italy from a family winery in Tuscany. The Andreucci family has been making wine for over two centuries. According to their history, in 1810 the quartermaster for the French Army purchased wine from the Andreucci family to serve Napoleon's troops while they were in Italy. A reproduction of the receipt issued by the French Army is shown on the label of a number of their wines. Even back then they had a reputation for making exceptional wines. The facility is small and very bright and open, with a bar for tasting and seating ares as well. It is adjacent to the Alstadt Brewery along 290 and easy to get to. Plenty of parking is available as well. We were greeted by a lovely Italian woman (Erica) who served as our sommelier. She was an energetic and vibrant person who fully described all the nuances of each of the 5 wines we tasted. While some wineries offer a pre-defined list of tasting options, Andreucci has you select 5 wines from their entire offering list. I am more of a red wine drinker (though I do also like some whites) and my wife prefers whites, so it made for a nice option to be able to select what we wanted individually. I selected the Black Label Cabernet, Montepulciano, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Grillo. My wife also chose the Chardonnay and Grillo, as well as the Donna Alma, Primitivo, and Prosecco. Erica even brought out a sample of some amazing cheese to try with the red offering. Perfecto! All the wines we tasted were very good, and we settled on purchasing a bottle of the Black Label Cabernet and one of the Grillo. They offer a wine club membership (as most all wineries do now) and offer a red club, white club, and premium club option. No membership fees. We will definitely return to this lovely location and try some additional wines next time!

We first visited this little Italian wine bar a year ago on a friend's Fredericksburg trip. We loved the wine so much we became members that same day. We've only been back 3 times since but have enjoyed our quarterly bottles and out free wine glasses and tastings. This is a true Flavors of Italy wine bar and all of their wines are imported from Italy. We are planing on returning next month for the wine pick up party. Always greeted with friendly smiles is also a plus and the fact that they are open Sundays is awesome since so many places close on Sundays. My husband likes the Primitivo, I like the Lambrusco but we both love the Vigna 1810. Definitely add this place as a stop on your next Fredericksburg outing.

Great wine room in Fredericksburg. Dog friendly too! Brought our puppy here to have a wine tasting from 5 wines each for $25 from Italy. The server carefully explained each of the choices and service came when we finished and didn't rush us at all. Small and intimate and some tables outside too.

The most amazing wine straight from Italy. You honestly cannot match it. They also offer small bites, pizza and cooking classes. Andreucci was our first stop ever in Fredericksburg.

Andreucci has been nothing but amazing to us over the years. I would recommend stopping by for a tasting anytime you are in town.

My daughter arranged a wine tasting tour for my birthday. Andreucci was my favorite. Authentic, elegant, the atmosphere was perfect. Our wine expert, Carlos poured exactly what my palate desired in a red wine for my tasting. Thank you for that wonderful experience. You were amazing with our party. You are greatly appreciated! I will be back. If you enjoy fine red wines at room temperature, with extreme attention applied for proper aging, authentic, Italy family owned winery, you must visit Andreucci. You will not be disappointed.

Love love love this place. It's one of the few places we could find that would sell wine by the glass without a membership. Wine was very reasonably priced around $7 for a glass of merlot. Also Fredericksburg does no have open container, so you can get your wine to go!

Flavio Andreucci's picks for my wine tasting!

Great red wine even for those who don't usually go for a red. Beautiful view and photo ops as well!

Our server, Madelyn gave us personal attention, serving us while we enjoyed the view from the patio. The wines are from grapes from Europe (France, Germany, Austria, Spain) barreled and bottled there, then flown all the way to this winery. I had a glass of Crianza (Tempernillo from Roja, Spain). Very good! Ambience is calm and mellow. Next door is a fenced area that was full of colts and their mommas. Adorable! Inside tasting room is contemporary with a clean and welcoming design. With so many wineries to choose from in the area, Alexander Vineyards is a true winner!

That means busy busy busy. Fortunately we hit at a good time. Not too busy and at an easy going pace. Self admitted wine snob that I am i prefer to choose a glass over wine tasting. We looked over the lineup and the Montepulciano 2022 was calling me. My wife latched on to the Tempranillo. No grapes are grown here it all happens on foreign ground. From grape to juice to bottle and label. Everything happens in Spain, France etc....interesting concept. We enjoyed our glasses that were served by young Madeline new to the industry and very nice. We were also enjoying new foals/colts on the property next door. Six mother horses and thier babies. The outside patio and grounds are very relaxing. I recommend Alexander Vineyard.

At that time, there was nothing going on and nothing growing so we decided to come back around when spring was happening. So this time around, definitely more popular, more cars and people wanting to check the place out. Essentially I was expecting this to be more of a field of flowers. But, it's basically that (although there wasn't much of it yet, just some flowers to see) and garden decor, pots, gifts, wine, pickled things, plants and LOTS of wildflower seeds to plant at home. The plants, some were decently priced, most were a little pricier. Just depends on which ones. Majority of the ones we wanted were a little better price wise vs going to home depot, at least we think so! We walked around the adventure trail (since it was free) to get some steps in and have the kids burn some of their energy out while roaming around (minus my toddler, she would want to run away and fast haha so I changed my mind on that idea). The trail itself was open, spacious and a great way to get some fresh air. You can be lucky enough to catch some glimpses of some flowers that could be sprouting out even though there's not much! The shops: they had different types of store fronts, one for food/snack/pickled items alongside a small cafe where you can order beer and wine, another for more accessories, clothing and some planting items too! They had standing wine tasting area near the trail walking area if you want to walk around with some wine. Parking: so much parking, so definitely not to worry although I can image it being more difficult when the flowers really bloom in their field.

For clarification I have had a total of 3 glasses of wine since noon and it's currently 7 o'clock and I am writing this review as I am leaving. I have a strong understanding of TABC rules and regulations, and this question was misplaced and pretty rude. Pierson, the pianist, asked my group to sing a song we requested because he was unsure of the lyrics, then the staff asked the group to sit down.
