We were staying within walking distance of this coffee shop, so we stopped by before starting our Fredericksburg winery hop. The coffee counter is located inside FarmHaus, so it feels more like part of a boutique store than a standalone coffee shop. The coffee area itself is quite small and with the Saturday morning rush it felt reaaaaally tight inside. I ordered an iced matcha along with a spinach feta pastry and both were delicious. Hands down, this was the best matcha I had in Fredericksburg!! There were seven of us, and since indoor seating is very limited we grabbed everything to go and enjoyed it while walking. I'm taking one star off for the service. During our visit, the staff didn't make much eye contact and seemed uninterested in answering questions which made the interactions feel really unwelcoming. Maybe they were having an off morning or feeling overwhelmed... That said, the quality of the drinks and food was excellent, and I'd still recommend stopping by for the matcha alone! read more

This spot off Main is more of a store than a coffee house. They offer your usual overpriced coffee and frozen type drinks and have a very small area for sitting. I had brought a book and sat in that tiny area. But I couldn't stay long due to mosquitos everywhere and heat coming from the windows and door opening constantly. It was very uncomfortable. My overpriced frozen sangria was super small and nothing to write home about. The farther back you go, you can find all kinds of house wares. I wasn't too impressed with the pricey grandma looking selection, and sad to see all the wasted space. The temperature was great in that area atleast. This is most likely a tourist trap and not built for comfort of any kind. They are basically here to get your money and get you out. Excellent cup - definitely a to-go place worth going to! Ordered the usual: decaf flat white with heavy cream. Perfect ratios! The cup was hot but not scalding, just the right amount of bitter flavor to balance the cream and it was silky smooth down to the last drop! The staff is friendly enough, but they have few choices to offer. The primary focus of the store is the rooms and rooms and rooms full of home accessories, old and new. The pics explain the scene. It's very easy to get lost in the maze. It's fun to walk through and see all the "stuff" but one would be better served at a different coffee shop if you're serious about coffee and a breakfast snack. read more

This place has basic coffee options and some pastries like croissants, cheese danish, blueberry muffins that smell delicious in fhe morning and look great in the case too. I'm always glad to smell coffee, look at pastries and go through the motion of morning cup of joe/pastries so this was nice. We had a latte and americano, latte was okay 7/10, my bf didnt like his Americano very much as it was overly hot and tasted bland. The ham and cheese croissant was pretty good 7/10. Wait was okay on a Saturday morning, less than 10 mins to get out coffee & heated up croissant. Their is also a home decor shop inside the cafe. There are some small tables inside. The inside of the shop is connected to a store that sells high end home goods - nice little place to walk around while waiting for your drink. Ricardo is one of the many friendly baristas, and makes a delicious signature drink, "Café con Miel" It is my personal favorite at Rockhaus! Also, the lady taking the orders is awesome, I heard her taking the time to genuinely compliment the woman before me, and when I got to the front of the line she didn't hesitate to tell me how much she loved me tattoos! The best chocolate croissant I've ever had! Iced lattes were strong but creamy. Will definitely return every trip To Fredericksburg!

As soon as I walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and helped me choose the perfect items for my taste. I went with a chocolate croissant, which was absolutely delicious, and a bonbon. The only thing I'd tweak is making the bonbon a bit sweeter, it was a little on the bitter side for my liking. Very cute little location. I have really enjoyed my time in Fredericksburg, but they are so WINE-centric! It was nice to find this little coffee shop as part of the Farm Haus. I got an Americano and it was very good. I'm not sure if they're a roaster or not, but they have a house blend that I believe they use for their espresso. Visiting Fredericksburg for the weekend and I'm so glad I decided to stop by this coffee shop. It is gorgeous and the staff is incredibly kind. The coffee is delicious, I ordered the Bonbom latte and my husband the Americano. Both drink were delicious and I'd love to try other drinks.
