We had the meat lover pizza and it was one of the best pizzas in FBG. I prefer thin crust and it was perfect.

Unfortunately, we decided not to eat here because of a hygiene concern that made us very uncomfortable. Shortly after arriving, I went to the restroom and encountered a member of the kitchen staff coming out while still wearing his apron. After using the restroom myself, I went to wash my hands and discovered that both soap dispensers were completely empty. Obviously, I can't say what the employee did before leaving the restroom because I wasn't inside with him, but there was no soap available from either dispenser when I attempted to wash my own hands immediately afterward. Seeing a kitchen employee leave that restroom and then discovering there was no soap available was enough for us to lose confidence in eating there. We had intended to stay for food, but instead we paid for the Prosecco my wife had already ordered and left. Hopefully this was simply an oversight and management addresses it, because something as basic as having soap available in a restaurant restroom--particularly one being used by food-service employees--is important. Unfortunately, based on what we observed, we weren't comfortable staying for a meal. read more

Absolutely amazing service I asked what were the top things on the menu and I was eyeing their first sandwich "creole sandwich". She didn't mention it so I went on a hunch.. that was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! It was hot but cool with sauce, idk can't describe it but it was delicious! This place blew away all the other spots in this town with above and beyond/top notch service and a welcoming vibe for me (a newbie). So great to see they treat both locals and new guys with the same kindness and respect. When I asked if there was a jukebox by chance the guy (I believe Skylar) said "No but what do you want to hear?" I asked for some Stevie Nicks and he said no problem. I didn't expect any of that and was overjoyed to hear some Stevie over the speakers. What cool people here! The patrons at the front gave me recommendations on good spots and were very welcoming. I ended up with a Spicy Italian. This one had a nice kick but not overpowering and a generous size along with some coleslaw and a pickle. I couldn't quite finish it all. My companion and my self both ordered something else and I totally forgot to take pics of our meals, so grabbed a pic of our server's pizza! My friend had the chicken salad sandwich. The beer can pizza really didn't seem that outstanding despite other rave reviews... it was chicken with some BBQ sauce. The service was a bit disorganized. A cup of coffee came out cold, and the creamer was curdled. They did make a hot fresh cup after we informed them about the situation.... But we should never have been served cold coffee to start with. We asked for a spoon to stir the coffee and the server left but never came back. We went inside to find a spoon ourselves. Wanted to take a day trip up to Fredricksburg to kick off the holidays and the milder temps allowed for it. Our first stop had to be here for the Mediterranean Pizza as it's become a tradition the past few years. We ordered the large and on this visit, the slices were broken up not in triangles, but in grid-like cuts. Guess it's more manageable for the stringy, melted cheese upon serving? The toppings seemed a little less than years past when it seemed to be loaded. What I did forget that was a bonus were the chunks of roasted whole garlic pieces that softened up and was pleasurable with each bite. Not date-friendly unless your date also likes garlic, LOL!! Fully intending to order an appetizer and a pizza (eating only some of both), I started with the roasted garlic and goat cheese appetizer. Oh. My. Goodness. It was delicious. I've never had roasted garlic like that, it spread on the crostini like butter and was delicious. So good, that I finished all of the garlic but didn't finish the goat cheese. I loved the combination of veggies also offered on it. I wasn't planning on devouring most of the appetizer so I ended up skipping the pizza. The sangria swirl was a swirl of their frozen sangria and belini. A great drink that lasted me the entire meal and was really refreshing on a hot summer day. My server was attentive without being overbearing. He totally understood when I didn't order the entree I told him I was planning on ordering.
