The bartender was friendly and made great drinks! My whiskey sour was made with honeysuckle rye and egg whites and it was so good! And she made hearts in the foam

Cute bar on Main St that we stopped into before going to dinner. We placed our order at the bar and then easily snagged a table in the large space. We had a frozen margarita and a tequila so I can't speak to the cocktail menu but the margarita was great.

The service was great once we were able to get a seat at the bar cause the bar was packed when we walked in. Great place to kick back, relax, have a drink, and be social.

I love to stop by here when I'm in Fredricksburg. It may not look like much but if you are craving a queso hot dog and a frosty beer on a hot day, definitely stop here.

Great drinks! We had the frozen margarita and frozen whisky Coke - both great on a hot summer day. They had a great array of liquor and a few bar snacks (chips, nuts and hot dogs) I think a chips and queso option or popcorn machine would be a good addition as a simple bar food to encourage more, uh, drinking! Overall great experience, great service.

How could I rate this place anything but 5 stars?!? My great grandfather built and ran it in the late 1800s as The White Elephant Saloon. Love it's opened back up as a saloon. A special nod to Chris and Autumn!

Great new bar on Main Street. Fun, great vibes and great drinks. You must try the seasonal the pumpkin cocktail. This is a must try while in Fredericksburg.

Fun, quirky place. We stopped in for a cocktail and had their walking tacos. Live music, too!

The menu and atmosphere were a bit underwhelming. I'd recommend this for a quick stop while on Main, and keep the orders simple.

I tried several different options and relaxed on the patio. The band playing was setting a fun, funky vibe, and the crowd was getting down. This place proves you can have classy and a bit wild at the same time. I loved the little lounge areas with vintage chairs and beautiful decor. Highly recommend making a reservation (we had one, thankfully), as it's a popular spot, and walk-ins may face a wait. We did a wine tasting flight and added a charcuterie board and rosemary bread to round out the experience. The wine? Fantastic. Each pour showcased the care and artistry that goes into Rae's winemaking. The Dandy Rosé was bright and refreshing, and the Trousseau was a beautifully light red. The charcuterie board? Easily one of the best I've had while wine tasting in the Hill Country. Every bite was thoughtfully curated and paired perfectly with the wines and we devoured nearly everything on it. The absolute highlight of the visit, though, was meeting Rae Wilson, the winery's master wine maker, herself! She was making the rounds in the tasting room, chatting with guests, and stopped by our table. Getting to hear directly from the winemaker about her process and passion added such a personal touch to the experience--it's not every day you get that kind of access. Wine for the People delivers on all fronts: incredible wine, a welcoming atmosphere, and a memorable experience. If you're exploring Hill Country, make sure this spot is on your list!
