Do not waste your hard earn money here. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I have never been treating so poorly. I came here by myself on Monday evening and the bartender not only over charge me $32 for a 2 glasses of a $10 wine (according to their menu) but the bartender did something absolutely disgusting. He served me leftover rosé from one bottle then look up at me to check to see if I was looking and open another bottle (of a different rosé) and poured it in the same glass then served it to me. He probably didn't think I saw him. He did not bother to tell me "hey we ran out of the one you were drinking would you like this one instead" or have the decency to at least serve me in a new glass and dump out the previous one he served out. read more

Stopped by this bar because I saw it in Instagram. It's a very cute place, and there is a decent amount of space in the inside and out on the patio in the back. They have a full bar and there are fun menu sized cards that have trivia questions and break the ice questions which was pretty cool. The restroom was very clean and even had a small lounge sofa inside so someone can come keep you company in the bathroom I suppose. I tried the Alstadt Lager and it was ok, wasn't my favorite but the bartender was really funny and nice. There is no parking lot, this place is on E Main Street in town so you have to find parking along the streets. read more

My wife, daughter and I visited 78624 for the first time and we were so impressed. We were greeted by Jeremy and "my friend" Carlos. They were both very friendly and welcoming. As we ordered drinks, we chatted, laughed and were informed about the drinks. We all had very different drinks, all of which were delicious. The Aztec was absolutely amazing and different than any other coffee drink I've had before. It is very coffee forward and tasted genuinely coffee flavored. The backyard is like a private little oasis and the inside is filled with fascinating and slightly creepy art. With the lo-fi tunes, the feel is nostalgic and relaxing.This establishment has instantly become one of our favorites. We will definitely return. We popped in midday while shopping to take a break. We loved that it's full of comfortable seating. It was very nice to escape the heat and relax. We ordered a pretzel, chips and salsa, and a cowboy cookie, as well as some cocktails. The pretzel and dips were very good. The chips and salsa was more than we could eat, but good as well. So great value. The cookie was too crunchy/crumbly in my opinion, I prefer chewy, but the flavor was still excellent. They excel in their take on the old-fashioned. The espresso martini was definitely strong with espresso, but I didn't mind because it was a great pick me up. We enjoyed all the drinks, and would go back and relax here anytime. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. The only kind've complaint was that our waitress had no personality. She could have been a robot. Everyone else was perfectly nice and friendly, so maybe it was an off day for her. But she was efficient, so can't complain too much. She still got a good tip. read more

We sat at the historic bar, imported all the way from Victoria, TX, we were told, and enjoyed stellar service and conversation. The bartenders don't just mix drinks here; they craft cocktails. Friday evening for me was simple - Buffalo Trace Bourbon, neat. On Saturday I opted to try a smoked Old Fashioned and it was outstanding. It's my best friend's bachelor party and we drove to Fredericksburg. My friend was super excited to come to this bar. When we got here, we saw this sign at the door. We waited patiently outside since they were originally going to open at 2:00pm, but sign states they will now open at 2:30pm due to staff meeting. Once it was 2:30pm, my group and a few other groups approached the door waiting for it to be opened. They did not open the door until 3pm. While we were waiting after 2:30pm, two of the employees entered through the front door with iced coffee, was sarcastic towards us when we asked if they were still opening at 2:30pm, and locked the door behind them. We can visually see the employees eating and hanging out, clearly not having a staff meeting any longer. After the employees saw a few of the customers taking a picture of the sign posted, they came and took it down, still not acknowledging us. All of the other groups left except us because we were excited to try their drinks. We also heard many people walking by wondering what was going on. I hope the owner sees this message and realizes the incompetency of their staff on a Saturday, they caused you to lose a lot of money as everyone left. read more
