It has such a warm, welcoming vibe. We loved that they also have a piano bar with live music in the evenings, it would be such a fun place to spend an evening! The owner even stopped by our table to check on us, chat for a bit, and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. That personal touch really stood out and made us feel so welcome. Whether you're looking for a wine flight, a bottle to share with friends, or just a cozy place to unwind after shopping on Main Street, I highly recommend stopping by. Pierson, the pianist, asked my group to sing a song we requested because he was unsure of the lyrics, then the staff asked the group to sit down. Not sure if this place is catered to the older crowd or just not accustomed to having girls who like to have a good time, but I wouldn't come back here if you payed me. Staff 2.7/10. Food 6.7/10. Pianist 10/10.

The lounge is very comfortable and air-conditioned and beautifully decorated, and the backyard is breezy and spacious. Better yet, it's all dog- friendly! We caught a live performance by a young musician, and our dog got plenty of attention from other patrons. We left with branded swag to take back to California. Husband and wife owners, Rarig and Ellery, were kind enough to show us around and even took us on a tour of Main Street! Both are knowledgeable about wines and Fredericksburg, but also landscaping, raising children, dolls, ancient history, relics and artifacts, time travel, and more. We'll be coming back for sure!

We did a wine tasting flight and added a charcuterie board and rosemary bread to round out the experience. The wine? Fantastic. Each pour showcased the care and artistry that goes into Rae's winemaking. The Dandy Rosé was bright and refreshing, and the Trousseau was a beautifully light red. The charcuterie board? Easily one of the best I've had while wine tasting in the Hill Country. Every bite was thoughtfully curated and paired perfectly with the wines and we devoured nearly everything on it. The absolute highlight of the visit, though, was meeting Rae Wilson, the winery's master wine maker, herself! She was making the rounds in the tasting room, chatting with guests, and stopped by our table. Getting to hear directly from the winemaker about her process and passion added such a personal touch to the experience--it's not every day you get that kind of access.
