I am gonna be brief. Service: good Food: VERY upscale but tasty Ambiance: nice and comfortable Drinks: very tasty Price: very spendy I would not call this authentic, but it is tasty and very on brand for Fredericksburg. Not a bad choice for an evening in Fredericksburg.

Great times at Casa Chloe!!

So damn good!!! Must have had at least 10 different entrees, all were amazing!! Highly recommend the queso fundido and the shrimp ceviche is amazing!! Such a treat having dinner with the Hondo Crouch of Fredricksburg!!

Everything we ordered was so good!! And the portions were very generous. The cilantro lime rice was so fluffy and flavorful- a real surprise for plain looking rice! The totopos and salsa came with 6 different salsas. Each was really good and they were all so different. Definitely check this place out!

We picked this restaurant for my husband's father's day celebration dinner. I had looked over the menu beforehand so the prices weren't a big surprise. We ordered the chips and salsa, two margaritas, queso flamedo, shrimp tacos, enchiladas poblabo and refried beans. Everything was delicious and fresh. We couldn't decide which entree was better because they were both amazing. The downside was they didn't offer anything my son would eat at a reasonable price so he ate some chips and we got him something afterwards. They do not offer a la carte items and children will pay full price for a meal. We would come back but with other couples or a solo date. Atmosphere and presentation was spot on.

Cute spot for a weekend dinner! Our reservation was honored and we were seated right away. The patio was more lively than the inside and very cute vibes. The food was expensive, but to be fair, on par with the area pricing in general. We enjoyed the salsa sampler-especially the honey infused and spicy selections. The supporting wait team was quick to refill our water and take our plates. Unfortunately the waitress was not attentive and we heard them give the specials to the table next to us after we ordered without hearing them prior. The tacos were good, nothing out of the ordinary street tacos you would get at a decent place, besides the bone marrow addition. A solid stop in Fredericksburg!

Wow! This place was worth a 5 star review! We came in here last minute hoping for something ok. Found a gem! We sat out on the patio, live music was great ( not sure if who is playing) Food and drinks were great. We all tried different dishes to try as much as possible. Fajitas were the best in my opinion, ribeye tacos and chicken poblano enchiladas were equally great. Margaritas were made perfectly. Do not miss out on this spot. The owner came out and talked with us a while. Service was very attentive. Will be back!!

We had beef street tacos , chicken street tacos and an order of the Tostitos Machete. Everything tasted great but the selection of salsas takes it to the next level. However, they will charge you for a cup of water and there is a $.40 service fee which I cannot explain. At least there was no credit card fee, but the tip screen was waiting. To be honest, their bacon and egg basic taco is pretty average, nothing special, but their red spicy sauce definitely took it up a notch. Their potato sausage and egg taco barely had any discernible sausage to it. It's the communal salsa bar that really makes the tacos extra special. They do have a fountain drink station, bottled soda on ice and a pot of coffee by the order window. You can get quite a variety of mixed drinks like margaritas along with numerous beer choices, although no local beers. Because of the value and sauces, I would definitely come back to this spot again. And just so you know, they do not have a public bathroom here and they are closed Monday. Ten informative photos to fill in what words miss.

Unfortunately, this experience felt less like a restaurant opening and more like a dress rehearsal no one stopped. First problem: location confusion. We went to what turned out to be their second spot--which, crucially, was not called Nurys on the sign. Same ownership, new space, old identity crisis. Walking in felt like entering a building that hadn't yet decided what it wanted to be when it grew up. The lingering aroma? A strange duet of fish, antiseptic, and industrial cleaning agents. Not hunger-inducing. More "urgent care with a fryer." There was no one there, which made sense--it was between brunch and lunch--but somehow the wait for food felt disproportionately long for what arrived. What arrived, sadly, was mediocrity wearing a Tex-Mex costume. They seemed to be aiming for Tex-Mex but landed somewhere closer to Tex-Flex--stretching flavors thin until they snapped. The barbacoa was fatty in a way that suggested less "slow-cooked tradition" and more "glistening regret." It didn't taste authentic, or even especially intentional. Just heavy. The guacamole--perhaps the most unforgivable offense--was bad. Guacamole is avocados, salt, lime, and love. That's it. This had none of the above. The waitstaff wasn't rude, exactly--just possessed by the clear energy of people who would prefer you to finish quickly so they could resume their real lives. Hospitality should feel like an invitation, not a countdown. Now, maybe the original Nurys is wonderful. I hope it is. But if that's the case, why open a second location only to phone it in? Expansion should mean excellence multiplied, not care divided. There are too many good places in Fredericksburg doing things right to settle for something half-hearted. This one wasn't terrible--it was worse. It was forgettable. And that's the real disappointment.

I didn't care for it. We were a large party and sat immediately, which was nice, and the restaurant…read morewas calm and nearly empty for a Sunday but honestly, there's a reason it was so dead. Right away, the service felt off. Our waitress didn't even ask if we wanted drinks before jumping straight to, "Are you ready to order food?" Then she disappeared for long periods, even though we were basically her only table besides one other couple. The food was extremely underwhelming -- basic, barely warm, and nothing memorable. On top of that, there were so many flies inside that we were nonstop swatting them away. And to make matters worse, there was a bug in my drink when it was served to me. That was pretty much the final straw. Overall, a very forgettable and disappointing experience. We probably won't come again, and I would not recommend it.

They updated their porch to have more coverage which will be great once summer really hits. Inside is great too. We've sat in all the areas. We went all out for our brunch date (mom & dad time out). Cold brew with vanilla, caramel iced latte... yummmm! We started with zucchini fries and they were hot, crunchy and delicious. I had the brunch burger (it was huge!) with sweet potato fries. I love their sweet potato fries. Husband tried the special- biscuit love - says it's good for anyone who loves gravy and brunch dessert was the banana French toast - we got the banana on the side and a side of berries. Yum yum yum. She really made the experience. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, substituting bacon for ham, with a biscuit and gravy on the side. The Eggs Benedict was good. I loved the unexpected touch of Swiss cheese, which added a nice twist to a classic dish. The hollandaise was a little on the sour side, but the bacon was cooked perfectly. The biscuit and gravy was the real star of my meal, so good that I almost wish I had ordered it as my main! Definitely getting that next time. My husband went for The Big Ass Sandwich and loved it. Fair warning- it lives up to its name. It's big, it's messy, and it's absolutely worth it. He said the same thing I was thinking: we need to come back. We'll definitely be returning on our next trip to Fredericksburg. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great breakfast spot with good food and even better service!

They had live music playing from a traveling guy out of Vegas (can't remember his name, but it was two guys' first names)--it was such a nice touch for a weekend lunch. I'm extremely picky, but the fajita steak quesadilla was soooooo good. I paired it with the fries, and they were "the good kind"--perfectly crisp and super tasty, hot and fresh. I also really appreciated that they served my Coke in a can with a separate glass of ice and a straw. It's a small detail, but I love being able to drink a cold can with a straw. The rest of the group seemed to love their food too. My fiancé got the fish tacos and they looked great, as did the Reuben sandwich my MIL got. Highlights: The Service: Our server was a rockstar. Even though the place was slammed, she were super fast and every single order was 100% accurate. The Fries: Seriously, don't skip them. The only real lowlight: There is only one bathroom, so the line can get lonnnnnnng. Definitely don't wait until it's an emergency to head that way. Other than the bathroom situation, it's a great spot for a group hang with solid food.
