Spending the weekend in Fredericksburg and popped in here for breafast. The food is really good. Service is top notch also. They keep things moving and check on you frequently. I just have one huge knock. The syrup for the pancakes. They seem pretty busy so I don't know why they have these pre-packaged syrup containers on the table that can't be heated. They serve theee delicious fluffy pancakes that come out piping hot and this table temp syrup package cools them down instantly and turns them into cold batter you're trying to get through. It's almost jarring. Literally everything else was great. I had a delicious omelette. My friend had eggs Benedict she loved. But this three stack of pancakes for my son barely got eaten cause it just wasn't enjoyable after adding that syrup. Please get a syrup you can heat. I'd rather not skip the pancakes when I return cause they're really good.
Friendly, family-owned restaurant with a variety of options. The owner greeted us as we entered and guided us to our table. My partner had the chilaquiles with the verde sauce. Our son had the Torta Cubana. I went with the Hangover omelette. The service was prompt and the food came out shortly. After just having some of the best chilaquiles a couple days before, my partner was equally impressed. Our son recently became a fan of this particular torta and carried on and on about the juicy, flavorful pork. Mine took up half the plate and was enjoyable. What was not eaten then was devoured the next morning. My family and I will visit again next time in town.
Absolutely delicious. The presentation was phenomenal as well. The service was outstanding!! Clean and comfortable! We will be back!

Food was ok, nothing to write home about. One of the drink menus shows 25% off when you post a certain brand of drinks, but what it does NOT say is the 25% off is for your next VISIT. So, if you are there for a vaca or passing through don't bother asking or expecting the 25% off, however of you are a local or a regular... then get that 25% off. Again, the food was ok.
Mom and I were looking for something away from the hustle and bustle of Main Street. I found this had high ratings and we jumped on it. When we approached it, I told Mom "we may get the stink eye for being out of town folks since this is not in the main touristy area". We walk in and it was 180 from that. We were immediately greeted as if we were old friends by one of the family members that owns the place. Come to find out these folks have been running restaurants and in Fredericksburg for 20+ years. The wife, Nury, is the owner and brilliant chef. The husband is the head of hospitality, which after being around him for ten minutes... I get it. It's clearly his calling to make people feel welcome and comfortable. We had the cilantro soup first and a "cup" is actually a healthy size bowl! It was delicious!! We also had the fish tacos and a delicious grilled chicken on fresh greens salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. This family knows how to cook and make a wonderful impression. We will be back!
Out of towner who eats here once or twice a year. The place is awesome. Really. Name something. It's good. Cuban? Yep. The various egg plates for breakfast? Yep. Chicken-fried steak? Yup. Burger? Pancakes? Benedicts? Yep, yep, and yep. Go here!
Wonderful "Hangover" omelette! Spicy, very well cooked, and stuffed with all kinds of goodness. Fast and super friendly service. Easy in and out. Highly recommend.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Eric (who was also our server) and told we could choose our table. We chose a table near the front of the restaurant and looked over our menus while we waited to take our order. The place itself is an older restaurant, clean and comfortable. I ordered a standard 2 egg breakfast with toast and potatoes and sausage. The restaurant itself was quite busy and Eric was hustling as he was the only server at that time. He was upbeat and friendly and never made us feel rushed. Our food took about 15 minutes to arrive. The eggs and potatoes were hot and cooked to order. If I were in the area again I would definitely go to try other menu options. Thank you Eric for your excellent service.
We're always on the lookout for hidden gems when we travel, and this spot absolutely delivered. The chilaquiles and the hangover omelette were both standouts. It's definitely a place we'll be returning to next time we're in the area.
We (wife and I) stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning around 9:00 am. We were greeted and seated quickly with menus and asked if we wanted drinks. We ordered coffee ($3 per cup) and water. We were brought the coffee and waters and we ordered. I had the Huevos Rancheros ($17) and my wife had the Fruit Granola Yogurt ($13). Our food was brought out after a bit and it looked good. However, there were problems with both dishes. My wife's dish, advertised a Greek Yogurt was more like they scooped some Yoplait into the bowl instead. There was some fruit chunks, but not near enough to justify the $13 cost. She said the carved strawberry was the best part of the dish and the granola was good, but certainly did not taste homemade. My dish was barely warm, the beans were way too soupy, and I had asked for over-medium eggs, but they came over easy. I sent it back and told the server the dish was lukewarm and the eggs were not prepared as requested. She quickly came back with another plate that pretty much had the exact same issues. Lukewarm beans and potatoes and over-easy eggs. Rather than send it back again, I ate less than half and called it quits. Our bill came to ~$40 and it was probably worth less than half that. Another tidbit is that we had to ask twice for coffee refills. The place was not really busy either. Not sure why it gets 4+ stars because I struggle with giving it 2. Overall, not worth the price and the quality of the food was lacking. Service was decent, but aside from that it doesn't rate another visit. Off the main area of Fredericksburg it's worth the stop. We were looking for a place to each brunch that was not in the crowded main area and we found this place. The staff are very friendly. Our server was exceptional - she was personable and appropriately attentive. I deduced to try the French Benedict which was two poached eggs on top of a croissant with ham and Swiss Cheese with their homemade Hollandaise sauce. It came with the cubed home fries and fresh fruit. The eggs were prepared well and the Hollandaise sauce was very flavorful - a great choice. While the cubed home fries didn't have anything that made them 'special' they were prepared perfectly with a bit of crispiness on the outside and soft inside. The flavor was good. The fresh fruit consisted of grapes, blueberries, cantaloupe and pineapple - all of which was fresh and flavorful. We also tried the Cochinita Pibil which was the corn tortillas filled with pork that was topped with purple cabbage and slivered carrots and their own sauce. The sauce was very good. The pork was super tender and moist. It had a great flavor but there was a hint of a flavor that we just couldn't place - almost apple-like but not quite. At any rate is was good although they could ease off on the cabbage - there was a lot of it. The refried beans that it came with were very flavorful and clearly homemade. The rice was - well, it was rice; moist but nothing to write home about. Good breakfast in a nice atmosphere with good service and a great family run business. Sauces on the meal and sides tasted homemade, my favorite was the green sauce, chips were crispy and eggs over medium cooked perfectly. I would recommend this fine restaurant! read more

Service 10/10. order came out wrong after 25 minute wait. Waitress apologized. Asked for sauce on side because I knew ranchero sauce would make chips very soggy. Good flavor, but couldn't get past soggy chips. Did they additional chips. She did ask I wanted new plate but I said no because we didn't have time to wait another 30. Husbands fruit had mold on grapes and strawberries. Husbands eggs Benedict were over poached eggs and little sauce but good flavor. Home fries/ potatoes had zero flavor. read more

Ranchero sauce taste like raviolis. Nothing Authentic!!! At all Nothing is homemade at all. Coffee taste like Maxville house weak and keep in a thermos lukewarm at best if there not busy. not sure how this place ever got to number one breakfast. They must have a lot of friends running Yelp. We went here with some good friends who live in Fredericksburg. The recommended it because it's is not always overrun with tourists, and is in a great location. I liked that it was easy to access, so much so that I didn't need my wheelchair. We were able to be conveniently seated next to a power outlet for my oxygen machine. In fact, there were a few tables not far from electrical outlets. The food and service were outstanding. The waitress was very friendly, and took our orders right away. She was friendly and kept the chips and salsa coming. They were quite good. The food came quickly enough that I didn't kill my appetite with the chips. My husband had a burger with bacon and egg, topped by a jalapeno and French fries. He loved it. I had the eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise sauce was very good, and tasted like it was made right there, not reconstituted. The eggs were poached to perfection, and the ham with thin sliced and not fatty. The hash browns were some of the best I've ever had. The menu has a wide variety of food, so there is something for everyone. I intend to eat here again the next time I'm up there in Fredericksburg. read more

We came here for breakfast and had a great meal! My sister and I ordered the plate with eggs, potatoes, breakfast sausage and a pancake. The eggs and sausage were the standard but the pancake was fabulous! It was fluffy and melted in your mouth. My mom ordered her go to, everywhere, chilaquiles. She was happy that the chips were thick and came smothered with sauce. The service was on point and we were seated immediately on a Sunday morning at 8am. Overall a good experience! read more

This was an incredible spot. Very clean and the food is delicious and plenteous. Our waiter (Enrique) was fantastic. Super kind, remembered my name and was proactive in helping us without us even needing to ask for extra plates for splitting and extra silver ware and knife for cutting the burger. Update on Nury's After a couple of years, my wife and I went back to Nury's twice this past week. First time was to be eat lunch a few days ago and this morning, a late breakfast. Food quality is still good. My lunch sandwich was their chicken sandwich. It was tasty, delicious and huge! I had one half for lunch and took the other half home. I love their fries! Fresh from the fryer, it's crunchy outside and warm to hot soft on the inside. My companions ate burger and fries and Nachos Supreme. They both raved about their lunch choices. The burger guy was so full, he took a nap on the way home. Which brings us to today's breakfast. Their French Benedict is good, not great. They took half a croissant, cut it in half and put the poached eggs on each quarter cut of a croissant. It was not very filling to be honest. Why scrimp on a croissant? Another issue is the fruit served with it. It was not very fresh. It tasted like they got the old fruit from yesterday and mixed it up with the fresh fruit from today. Mind you, this was $18 for the meal! Their service is always prompt and their servers friendly and accommodating. This place was packed with people and even had a line starting by the door. We got seated pretty fast so we considered ourselves lucky. Ambiance is very pleasant. They keep the place clean and even saw one of their servers get under a table to pick up a used napkin and jelly container. I'd come back here for lunch anytime but probably go someplace else for breakfast next time we come back to Fredericksburg for peaches! read more

No flavor at all! We got the chilaquiles and French benedict. Beans were bland and so were the potatoes, we couldn't even eat them. The hollandaise sauce was basically just lemon juice squeezed on top. The chilaquiles were good but the only edible thing on the plate. We came on a Saturday and there were many tables available when we arrived so not insanely busy but got busier as we ate. Good diner feel. Servers were great, although personally I don't like when people in food service have those extremely long fake nails, she could barely set the plates down on the table and I kept thinking about how gross they probably are touching everything. read more

I was in Fredericksburg for the day and found this spot to eat before our wine tour. We got a few different dishes. All were delicious. Staff was great. We were seated right away when we arrived. Chilaquiles: the best dish. It was so good. They chips are homemade. You can get them with one type of salsa or two. French Benedict: perfect poached eggs. The side of potatoes were delicious. Huevos rancheros: good, simple plate with two eggs and refried beans. You can choose your salsa. It also comes with a few of their homemade chips. Salad with tuna and avocado: huge portion. The tuna is tuna salad with Mayo. They aren't skimpy on the avocado. It also had big pieces of tomato and olives. It is filling Pancake: perfect on its own or as a dessert. Fluffy. Great taste. Big enough to share French toast: same as then pancake. We ordered this to share as a dessert. They have parking on site. read more
