I miss the old location but this new one (to me) is still cute and set up in the familiar way as the old place. The food as usual was so good! I had the quiche and my husband had the chicken sandwich and my sister had the chicken/veggie soup. Everything was fresh and delicious! Now for customer service: I can think of a few places that need to take a lesson from here. It's 4th of July and about 10 minutes to close when we walked in. We thought they were open later but small town communicates with a sign on the door. They w ere all so gracious when we asked if we could stay. They let us sit and did let us know that the kitchen would close soon. We were never rushed. Our server made sure our teas were filled and even gave us to go cups. We were initially going to Sunset Grill, but there were about 20 waiting outside to be seated...so we sauntered into this little gem (which is apparently owned by the same family as Sunset). Nice open area dining, although the host attempted to seat us in this tight little underwhelming room that I euphemistically called the "etiquette reject room" LOL Luckily Texas Mom was on patrol and insisted on the main area LOL. We have been to the old location a couple of times. This is our first visit to the new location. Of course, it looks great - the ambience was outstanding, the ceiling was very high, great decorations for the holidays and the tables were placed very smartly. As for the food and service, what can I say, the food is consistently great and service is outstanding. They have one of the friendliest and young servers. Let's talk about their desserts! Oh my goodness - their coconut cream pie is sugar heaven on a plate. It was delicious! Also, Sunset Grill is being built in the same compound as Woerner's. They are owned by the same people and they're two of the best restaurants in the city. I'm a little worried about the parking issue when both eateries will open but it is not my problem. As long as I can get one when I go! It's going to be a treat to decide where to go eat at! read more

I have had this place on the radar for a LONG time, so when the opportunity came up to go, off I went. Luckily we got seated right away and the service came quickly and friendly. Our mimosas came out fast and we were impressed on how full and tasty they were. Well worth the price. I had the Mother Earth sandwich - crammed full of fresh tasty veggies - and the side salad. The sandwich was delicious, not just because of the fillings, but also because of that tasty whole grain bread. The side salad was just an assortment of greens, but the house-made balsamic vinaigrette dressing took it up a notch. The new location is a hit! The place retained its warehouse feel but also gives off a very warm and welcoming vibe. We very much enjoyed our visit and look forward to more. read more

There are not many places open Monday in Fredericksburg. This place was recommended to us by a local. The place is bright and well lit. The place has a bakery, gift shop, and restaurant. I don't normally like sandwich shops so I went for the creamy potato soap with bread. The menu made it sound like the soup was going to be served in a bread bowl, it is not. But the creamy potato soup is very creamy, very cheesy, and packed full of flavor and not overly salty. Sometimes soup it too salty and this was great. The bread was so soft on the inside with a nice chewy exterior. It was the perfect compliment to the potato soup. I wish it would have been served in bread bowl because I wanted more bread. My friend order the Greek salad and it was huge and full of fresh veggies and great quality lettuces. Another friend ordered a sandwich and I was given a bite and just delicious. Simply Amazing Sandwich! Came to Woerner's today after visiting a local winery, 1st time so did not know what to expect. Virtually no wait at 12:00 on a Sunday, very efficient staff seated us quickly and served drinks. All of my party ordered the Turkey Bird sandwich, a few were able to finagle the weekly 1/2 sandwich + fruit option available normally only weekdays, I opted for the full sandwich. This was a warm Ciabatta roll with loads of turkey, fresh bacon and melted cheddar cheese. Taste and flavors were magnificent, no other words come to mind. Everytime I go here I get the Jimmy-Cado with no tomato's and added feta. I get a different type of coffee each time but always get hot here. It's so cute in the glass and the whip. So cute. My boyfriend gets the Hercules with no cream cheese and get changes the bread to sourdough. Those both are our favorite.
