    Chicken Bacon Avacado sandwich.
    Patti B.

Wonderful breakfast, brunch, lunch spot. Really wanted to try several things, but settled on the Chicken, bacon, Avacado sandwich with chips. I expected homemade chips, but instead came out with a bag of Zipps on the plate. My husband had the burger with fries. I loved my sandwich, and the burger was good. We splurged and got a Key Lime Pie to split. It was good too. The graham cracker crust was falling apart on bottom. I thought about trying the quiche, but read the sandwiches were great - and it is True! Service was great, even after the place filled up. Did not have to ask for refills of water- it came. This is a great place for espresso and pastries. Great gift shop there also. Enjoyed it, and it is a great place for lunch with the girls, or business lunch. They close at 3 - so it you go get there before then.

We ate here for lunch, it was a nice relaxing environment and great food. The service was excellent. We got our food fairly quickly. - we ordered : Pesto chicken pizza California Bbq Chicken pizza Turkey bird Sandwhich Old school burger

Our meal! We shared the Spinach Salad and BLAT Sandwich. The salad was split on two plates for us.

Cute place, that includes a little shop. Slllloooowwwwwww service from our server. Had to ask for refills on water, and ordered our pie from the host as he was passing by. LOVED that they had gluten free options with ok pricing. Food: citrus vinaigrette needed mustard or other binder. GF bread needed toasting bc it fell apart immediately. While we were eating, there was a buzz from the patio bc several tables had been sat with no service. After our meal, we shopped the little boutique but were turned off by the shop owner being on the phone, on speaker, the whole time. Great concept, has the right pieces, food was good, just needs a LOT of work on service.

Oh my goodness, what a perfect place for a lunch in Fredericksburg. It is always good to have a sandwich and soup here. The food is always tasty and made with lots of Love. I had the Turkey Bird Sandwich and the Tomato Basil Soup, my goodness, it was so tasty. You must also try out their wonderful pies, you will not be sorry you did, there are lots of choices. Go check this place out, its a must on your visit to Fredericksburg!!

We have been to the old location a couple of times. This is our first visit to the new location. Of course, it looks great - the ambience was outstanding, the ceiling was very high, great decorations for the holidays and the tables were placed very smartly. As for the food and service, what can I say, the food is consistently great and service is outstanding. They have one of the friendliest and young servers. Let's talk about their desserts! Oh my goodness - their coconut cream pie is sugar heaven on a plate. It was delicious! Also, Sunset Grill is being built in the same compound as Woerner's. They are owned by the same people and they're two of the best restaurants in the city. I'm a little worried about the parking issue when both eateries will open but it is not my problem. As long as I can get one when I go! It's going to be a treat to decide where to go eat at!

    Mother Earth sandwich

I have had this place on the radar for a LONG time, so when the opportunity came up to go, off I went. Luckily we got seated right away and the service came quickly and friendly. Our mimosas came out fast and we were impressed on how full and tasty they were. Well worth the price. I had the Mother Earth sandwich - crammed full of fresh tasty veggies - and the side salad. The sandwich was delicious, not just because of the fillings, but also because of that tasty whole grain bread. The side salad was just an assortment of greens, but the house-made balsamic vinaigrette dressing took it up a notch. The new location is a hit! The place retained its warehouse feel but also gives off a very warm and welcoming vibe. We very much enjoyed our visit and look forward to more.

We randomly picked this place for a lunch date while visiting Fredericksburg. What a happy surprise!! The food, drinks and service were all great! The place is absolutely adorable and has lots of seating available. I had a salad and tomato soup with an Aperol spritz and they were all delicious. My husband had a sandwich and said it was really good too. I completely forgot what sandwich he had though. Definitely recommend eating here if you're in Fredericksburg!

Creamy potato soup with 2 slices of bread
    Chris T.

There are not many places open Monday in Fredericksburg. This place was recommended to us by a local. The place is bright and well lit. The place has a bakery, gift shop, and restaurant. I don't normally like sandwich shops so I went for the creamy potato soap with bread. The menu made it sound like the soup was going to be served in a bread bowl, it is not. But the creamy potato soup is very creamy, very cheesy, and packed full of flavor and not overly salty. Sometimes soup it too salty and this was great. The bread was so soft on the inside with a nice chewy exterior. It was the perfect compliment to the potato soup. I wish it would have been served in bread bowl because I wanted more bread. My friend order the Greek salad and it was huge and full of fresh veggies and great quality lettuces. Another friend ordered a sandwich and I was given a bite and just delicious. Employees: friendly and wonderful service. Our server Juan did a great job and was super friendly and kept checking on us. Restaurant cleanliness: above average Bathroom cleanliness: above average

We came here for brunch. It is a very spacious family friendly restaurant. It is also an antique store, bakery and gift shop. Every dish we had was delicious. Considering we were a large party, we were not only greeted but also served perfectly. We will definitely be coming back!

The biscuit and gravy was the real star of my meal, so good that I almost wish I had ordered it as my main! Definitely getting that next time. My husband went for The Big Ass Sandwich and loved it. Fair warning- it lives up to its name. It's big, it's messy, and it's absolutely worth it. He said the same thing I was thinking: we need to come back. We'll definitely be returning on our next trip to Fredericksburg. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great breakfast spot with good food and even better service!

I was very excited to write this review about the positive experience and I had here. In my images, I showcase a beautiful French omelette. It is so easy for people to get omelettes wrong and overcook them until they are a rubbery mess. But mine was very soft, decadent, and fluffy with a very beautiful balance of all flavors present in the dish. I also appreciated the salad that came with it because I think starting the day off with some fiber is very healthy for the body. In the past, I've had the steak and eggs and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. But when I came to visit on this specific day, they were out and happily recommended the omelettes instead. It can get crowded, but I don't agree with the reviews here that say the restaurant gets too loud. Let's be honest. Fredericksburg has a certain type of demographic and at times I feel they are unfairly nitpicky to the local businesses. When the restaurant is crowded, it's lively and full of smiling faces and servers who are eager to serve and make sure that you enjoy your meal. Restaurant was also clean on our visit and the restrooms were well taken care of. I can't wait to come again for breakfast!

When the dish arrived, however, the steak was clearly overcooked and closer to well done than medium-rare. When we raised the concern, the waiter claimed she had told us the meat would come out anywhere from medium-rare to well done due to how it sits in the warmer, and then suggested we must have misunderstood her initial explanation. This contradiction was frustrating and unprofessional, especially as it felt like our concern was being dismissed rather than addressed. Both the waiter and manager insisted the steak was cooked correctly, despite it clearly not being medium-rare. After we sent it back, they replaced it with a filet that was prepared properly. They did remove the original entrée from the bill, but then charged us for the filet at cost. Given the situation, it would have been more appropriate to simply substitute the filet at the original menu price. Unfortunately, my meal was also very underwhelming. The fish lacked flavor and was not enjoyable. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for a special anniversary dinner. I will say -- the hummus plate was delightful. Light and great flavor for an appetizer. The drinks were also very good too.

The pretzel was warm and a nice size and we thoroughly enjoyed the beer cheese. We finished the cheese halfway through the pretzel and the waiters were kind enough to bring us another one. Next for the kasespatzle - which from my understanding is the German version of mac and cheese. It was very tasty and hearty! More filling than I expected. The lamb chops were the crown jewel of the night - rich and succulent and paired so well with the asparagus. The chef was kind enough to make another lamb chop for us as she saw how the meat shrunk while cooking it. The meal was so tasty and a good size for sharing! We were very full by the end. Unfortunately, this experience felt less like a restaurant opening and more like a dress rehearsal no one stopped. First problem: location confusion. We went to what turned out to be their second spot--which, crucially, was not called Nurys on the sign. Same ownership, new space, old identity crisis. Walking in felt like entering a building that hadn't yet decided what it wanted to be when it grew up. The lingering aroma? A strange duet of fish, antiseptic, and industrial cleaning agents. Not hunger-inducing. More "urgent care with a fryer." There was no one there, which made sense--it was between brunch and lunch--but somehow the wait for food felt disproportionately long for what arrived. What arrived, sadly, was mediocrity wearing a Tex-Mex costume. They seemed to be aiming for Tex-Mex but landed somewhere closer to Tex-Flex--stretching flavors thin until they snapped. The barbacoa was fatty in a way that suggested less "slow-cooked tradition" and more "glistening regret." It didn't taste authentic, or even especially intentional. Just heavy. The guacamole--perhaps the most unforgivable offense--was bad. Guacamole is avocados, salt, lime, and love. That's it. This had none of the above. The waitstaff wasn't rude, exactly--just possessed by the clear energy of people who would prefer you to finish quickly so they could resume their real lives. Hospitality should feel like an invitation, not a countdown. Now, maybe the original Nurys is wonderful. I hope it is. But if that's the case, why open a second location only to phone it in? Expansion should mean excellence multiplied, not care divided. There are too many good places in Fredericksburg doing things right to settle for something half-hearted. This one wasn't terrible--it was worse. It was forgettable. And that's the real disappointment.
