First all the pastries are amazing! Fluffy layers in the chocolate croissant was so good. The muffins were moist and tasty too. BUT the line and the time it took to get was crazy. My husband dropped me off to run in and grab us some breakfast and coffee before we went out and about for the day while visiting the area. The pictures looked really looked great and off Main Street so I chose this. Wrong move since we were wanting to get somewhere. The total time I was in there was 35 minutes! The line actually moved fairly fast it was the waiting for the order that took so long. Everyone waiting was making the same comments too. Maybe we just hit it wrong and everyone showed up at the same time - they had plenty of staff behind counter, but maybe some were new. If I wanted to go back for the pastries and walked in and the line was short then I might order again because it was good but I would not wait that long again.

Only grabbed a photo of one item we got to eat but it was the best and everyone should know that! I can't say enough how delicious this chocolate pistachio croissant was. I came SPECIFICALLY for this after a friend came the day before and raved about it. Upon entering though I noticed the pastries case was near empty as we came around 1 to eat. They had sold out of nearly everything! I asked her to see if by chance they may have one- she said they were busy and sold out but then paused "wait, let me be right back." The cashier ran to the back and when she returned she rang up their last croissant just for us The staff was so sweet, parking was easy as could be, and the shop behind the restaurant was so fun/cute to peruse around. We also got arepas and avocado toast. Absolutely solid food choices. But I assure you when I return I'll be purchasing that croissant

Gluten free empanadas (very tasty), gluten free pastries! Sadly they didn't have the gluten free croissants when we went due to losing a GF flour supplier, but apparently they're working on finding a new alternative. If they are able to get GF croissants back on the menu, we would come every time we're in Fred! My husband has never been able to eat a GF croissant - that would make his week!

Breakfast spot with counter service, pastries, hot breakfast and both indoor and outdoor tables. Jump in line and ogle the croissants and sweets in the glass case while you wait. Hot items will be delivered to your table after you order. The empanada plate features one each of the chicken, beef and cheese enchiladas, paired with three different condiments. They arrived piping hot, with the delicious fillings tucked inside crispy corn shells. These were great, but I wasn't a fan of the mini arepas, dry and devoid of fillings. Full coffee bar serving everything from drip coffee to pretty lattes and mochas.

This is an order at the counter and find seating cafe off of Main Street in Fredericksburg. I was pleasantly surprised with the diverse pastries and dishes they offered. I think they have a Colombian/latin twist on some of their typical American breakfast dishes but it works!! I ordered a chocolate chip cookie (because they are my weakness and this one was so good!) and an avocado toast. The avo toast was probably one of the best I've had. It had cheese on top which really sealed the deal for me. The seating area is pretty big too. It wraps around to the back side of the cafe where there are little shops/vendors as well as more outdoor seating.

This place was great! There was a bit of a line when we visited on a Sunday morning but we were provided free freshly made buns while we waited which was great since the line wasn't even that long. They have a great variety of breakfast foods and fresh pastries. There's not a lot of sitting room which may be an issue if you visit while it's crowded but otherwise no complaints. Great spot!

This is listed as a bakery, but Zuly's offers gelato, cafe items, barista crafted beverages (with house made syrups), and a bakery. The cafe items are made from scratch and the menu has Benedicts, arepas, and a few salads. The side hallway has a few gelato options, colorful macarons and cake slices. I ordered a few bakery items and an iced coffee and everything was delicious. So glad I found this place for future visits!

Breakfast was amazing. Enough for all of us to share and walk out stuffed. Staff was very friendly and it was very clean inside.

Overall the food was delicious! The toasted chocolate almond croissant has my heart. Rustic industrial is the vibe. The original eggs Benedict was a bit of a disappointment as the prosciutto was chewy.

    Coffee

Loved their coffee and pastries! The breakfast sandwich was super delicious! Definitely worth giving a try, you will find something you enjoy here.

And we got a crossaint to go!

Walking into the restaurant side of the bakery, we are greeted by a wall of huge croissants- savory, sweet and breakfast. Really a fun vibe, not like other bakeries I have visited. Mixed crowd, all ages. Our server was Caitlin, and she knows her stuff. We ordered avocado toast with an egg, and the classic eggs Benedict, a drip coffee and a latte. Oh, and a giant chocolate croissant. While we wait for the food, I notice that the open ceiling is very tastefully done. Not too noisy, and a good mix of 90's and early 2000's music. The giant chocolate croissant is, well, giant. And tasty. Buttery. Dark chocolate. This is not your standard HEB croissant. Made in house, and croissants are a hard thing to make consistently. The standard drip coffee is really good, and my wife approves! The chai is hot. After a bit it is also flavorful. Thumbs up! The avacado toast has halloumi cheese on it - sourdough, a thick coating of crushed avocados, and the lightly grilled cheese. Fantastic! The classic Benedict is big, flavorful and excellent. Very filling. Everything we tried was great. An excellent bakery, a solid breakfast and really good coffee and chai. As others have noted, a bit more expensive than McDonalds or Whataburger. Cheap compared to the tourist traps along Main Street. I am giving Zuly's a double thumbs up , and they earned it. Very pleasant.

    Happy 1 Year Anniversary!

From the food to the atmosphere and service. You have to try the Arepas. My favorite was the brisket and cheese. It was a savory choice with a hint of sweet from the sauce. On their one year anniversary, they gave out free cupcakes! They have flavored croissants and a gluten-free croissant. My recommendation is get a list of their current flavored croissants in order the gluten-free croissant with a side of whatever flavor sounds delicious to you.

Cold brew with vanilla, caramel iced latte... yummmm! We started with zucchini fries and they were hot, crunchy and delicious. I had the brunch burger (it was huge!) with sweet potato fries. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, substituting bacon for ham, with a biscuit and gravy on the side. The Eggs Benedict was good. I loved the unexpected touch of Swiss cheese, which added a nice twist to a classic dish. The hollandaise was a little on the sour side, but the bacon was cooked perfectly. The biscuit and gravy was the real star of my meal, so good that I almost wish I had ordered it as my main! Definitely getting that next time. My husband went for The Big Ass Sandwich and loved it. Fair warning- it lives up to its name. It's big, it's messy, and it's absolutely worth it. He said the same thing I was thinking: we need to come back. We'll definitely be returning on our next trip to Fredericksburg. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great breakfast spot with good food and even better service!

I was very excited to write this review about the positive experience and I had here. In my images, I showcase a beautiful French omelette. It is so easy for people to get omelettes wrong and overcook them until they are a rubbery mess. But mine was very soft, decadent, and fluffy with a very beautiful balance of all flavors present in the dish. I also appreciated the salad that came with it because I think starting the day off with some fiber is very healthy for the body. In the past, I've had the steak and eggs and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. But when I came to visit on this specific day, they were out and happily recommended the omelettes instead. It can get crowded, but I don't agree with the reviews here that say the restaurant gets too loud. Let's be honest. Fredericksburg has a certain type of demographic and at times I feel they are unfairly nitpicky to the local businesses. When the restaurant is crowded, it's lively and full of smiling faces and servers who are eager to serve and make sure that you enjoy your meal. Restaurant was also clean on our visit and the restrooms were well taken care of. I can't wait to come again for breakfast!

I love the set up of the main dining room. I'm always a fan when you can see the kitchen preparing the dishes from your table. Hill and vine pairs their excellent food with some amazing local wines. We had Kristen as our server, she was so attentive and sweet. To start we tried the sweet cornbread, lavender mint lemonade, and regular lemonade. The lavender mint lemonade was one of the best drinks I've had in a while. For our meals he had the BLTA with fries and I had the avocado and lime salad with tri tip steak. Absolutely stellar food, quality ingredients and great flavors. We had leftovers for sure, lol, something to eat on the drive back to DFW the next day. For dinner, we sat outside and had Jess as our server. She was also really nice, she had quite a few tables and still managed to give us plenty of attention. We had carnitas nachos and the ground beef soup. The carnitas nachos are... unnecessarily large. lol Luckily the soup bowl was very small so I was able to help the boyfriend with some nachos. But my small effort was not enough and he tapped out of the nachos at the halfway mark. Highly recommend the nachos if you have four friends with you. =D This was a great restaurant with a lovely outdoor space. If we lived in Fredericksburg, I could easily see us making this a monthly hang out on Friday nights. If you have the chance, make sure to get in with Kristen or Jess, you won't be disappointed.
