I hate artificial flavors and cannot eat them, which makes getting fun drinks a challenge. When I come in, I like getting an iced lavender breve, or one of their special seasonal type of drinks on the menu. Hands down, this was the best matcha I had in Fredericksburg!! There were seven of us, and since indoor seating is very limited we grabbed everything to go and enjoyed it while walking. I'm taking one star off for the service. During our visit, the staff didn't make much eye contact and seemed uninterested in answering questions which made the interactions feel really unwelcoming. Maybe they were having an off morning or feeling overwhelmed... That said, the quality of the drinks and food was excellent, and I'd still recommend stopping by for the matcha alone!

She put our name on a list, and we had a brief 5-10 minute wait before we were seated. We were handed menus and left to peruse the menu. After a brief wait, we were greeted by our waiter and he took our drinks. In good time the waiter was back with drinks and he took our order. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette. It came with potatoes and toast. The wife ordered the plate with eggs over easy, crispy bacon, and potatoes. The wife and I sat and had a nice visit. We should not have drank our drinks so fast, as they stayed empty the entire time we visited. Our waiter not once made eye contact so we could get a refill either. After an average wait time, our food came. Our waiter noticed the drinks and then refilled them. My omelette was undercooked and watery, the cheese was not melted, and the bacon was chewy. Furthermore, the toast was also very dry. I would have gotten butter to put on them, but the waiter never came back to check on us. The wife's eggs were cooked over hard, the bacon was rubbery, and very underwhelming. Our drinks went empty and we never got refills, again. We paid the bill and went shopping. I was glad to get out of there. I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews, but I think they missed the mark here. ChatGPT did me dirty on this one. I don't know if they just were having a bad day, or what the deal was, but this was a one and done for me. I cannot say I recommend this one. I was very disappointed.

I don't care what type of day I'm having, this place makes it better instantly. They often have great deals. The last time I went they gave me some free cheese sticks with my purchase. It was very nice of the workers to let me sample a few options before deciding, and the customer service was smiley and friendly just as you would expect for such a classy and beautiful spot. I highly recommend this one if you need to decompress or just if you want to get out and enjoy the sun on your skin.
