Also tried the completely filling pork centric breakfast plate which would have fed 2 people or a very hungry linebacker! Loved the ambiance with wild chickens roaming the dining area and a huge canoe overhead. They make their own special sauce which goes with everything! Go early if you are eating during weekends or prime dining times, the line wraps around the entire patio during the popular eating times.

When you finish eating, it can be a bit confusing to know where to take your plate. I asked the staff and they said to just leave it on the table. While I am not accustomed to leaving dirty dishes behind, the staff is very prompt and efficient at clearing and cleaning up. Great spot overall!

I had the peach cobbler warmed up and a la mode, and it was delicious. Crumble toppings on pie are my absolute favorite, that buttery, crumbly goodness you wish would never end. Hubby had the key lime pie a la mode, and it was the perfect balance of creamy sweetness and tart, but not too tart. Both slices came with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, which is the only way to do it. The service was friendly, too. The indoor seating was full, so we sat outside, which turned out to be lovely for people watching and enjoying the fresh air. If you have a sweet tooth and appreciate a proper slice of pie, Maui Pie is worth the trip. Highly recommend, and I'll see you there for more peach cobbler!

Java Cafe is a cute spot with a cozy atmosphere, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. My boyfriend and I decided to give it a try for breakfast, and while the experience was pleasant, the food isn't something I'd write home about. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel, and my boyfriend got the breakfast special sandwich on a croissant. We shared both, and while the smoked salmon bagel was good, it wasn't anything special. It's not something I'd return for. My boyfriend's breakfast sandwich was also decent, but again, nothing that would bring us back. The cafe itself is super cute, with friendly staff and a quick turnaround on our order. You seat yourself and bus your own tables, which was fine for a casual spot like this. I had an incident with an employee here who wanted to argue with me repeatedly because of a substitution I want it on a sandwich. She was extremely nasty and she would not let up on the arguing with me she followed me around the restaurant. The owner stood up for her and she continues to Lear at me when I go in she's still holding a grudge. I used a couple of expletives when the owner challenged me and he threatened to punch in my face.
