One of my favorite treats on Maui! There was a line waiting before open, which makes complete sense given the quality of their pies. Their banana cream pie and coconut cream pie were creamy, delicious, and that crust was like no other - highly recommend coming early before they sell out! Only regret is not trying more of their pies.

Tried the strawberry-mango... pie was delicious. Special kudos to the chef for making a dessert that was just the right amount of sweet. Not surpy sweet... just perfect. The crust is also very good. I would usually prefer more butter, but it was very much a hit at the table... Picture was in the middle of devouring the pie. Yummy...

1000% the best pie my husband and I have ever had! We sooo wish that we could copy and paste this place and put it in Arizona. We decided to grab a mini Mountain Berry pie that we were able to share for dessert. We took it back to our resort with us to have later but there was plenty of room to sit inside. The establishment was clean, cute, and smelt of delicious pies!! Our pie was sweet and full of berries. The crust and crumble were 10/10 as well!! When you pull in to the parking lot you will not see a sign for this place as it sits on the street. You will have to walk towards the front of the shopping center to find this little piece of heaven!!

This is a nice spot in Kihei if you are craving something sweet. They have pies by the slice or to go boxes too. I tried the small pies: chocolate haupia and passion fruit. I loved the chocolate haupia, wasn't overly sweet and the coconut crème perfectly balanced the sweetness of the chocolate. I wasn't a fan of the passion fruit, it's an acquired taste and I found it a bit too tart for my liking. Overall, friendly service and plenty of parking in the strip mall. I especially love that they have cool water in a dispenser as it gets hot in the summer here. If you craving pies in Maui, this is a good spot to try!

Seriously some of the best pie I have ever eaten! Not too overpriced like many places on Maui! Peach Mango is my favorite and it is perfection!! Grab a slice and eat on the beach at sunset!

Yum! Ordered our pies at the counter then sat inside to enjoy our precious pies! They have both indoor and some outdoor seating areas Came too late to try the chicken pot pie sadly but had the Portuguese sausage and it was yummy! They also do frozen pies if you have access to an oven or to cook it at home ! The banana pie was so delicious I took a pic of it half eaten. It was like a banana pudding in a pie crust! So good!! The chocolate haupia was a chocolate creamy pudding with coconut pudding/flan texture! A dreamy creamy decadent dessert! Would have loved to try the beautiful heart crusted strawberry apple pie but sadly had no more room in my stomach lol Everything is yummy! Can't go wrong with any pie!!!

This place is heaven for pie lovers. I tried the key lime, chocolate peanut butter and the coconut cream. All 3 were top notch. I wish i lived here so i could go here every day

Looking for more pie options, we stopped in here to compare the banana cream pie against Leoda's. Hands down, Leoda's is better. The filling here is more filling than banana and more pudding like in texture. The crusts are also different as Leoda's is graham crackers and here it is traditional butter crust. I'd like to give this place another try with maybe a fruit pie or the chicken pot pie. We parked at Times and walked right over. The place got quite busy when we left so that is a good sign. I'm all about trying and supporting the local businesses so give them a try!

After dining at the noodles and rice, Vietnamese restaurant nearby at the Azeka shopping center here in Kihei Maui, I noticed that there it was a Maui Pie store as we pulled in. I was like, Hey Pie. And so, after we ate at the Vietnamese restaurant, my friend and I walked over to check out what kinds of pies were available. During the time of my experience here at Maui pie, it was interesting. At the time when I was there, one of the sales people told me that there was a shortage of pies or something. So we had to purchase whatever was on stock at the time or wait for special ordering. And so, I did not want to wait for a long time or come back later. I walked in to the store and looked at whatever stock at the time. They had a delicious Jaipur chocolate pie, which was good and delicious. They have different sizes of pie, from small to large. Decided to do the medium one just to sample the situation. My time here was brief but adequate and productive for sure. I wanted dessert after my Vietnamese lunch fix anyhow and it was a perfect idea to have A decadent pie from Maui Pies. With that said, I picked up a pie and brought it back to my Airbnb condo. The service here was friendly and fast. It was great that they had everything that I needed in stock. I bought two pies when I had sitting outside the restaurant and other I saved for later that day with dinner. It was a cute little store, though, but they always served pies. Not sure if they sold ice cream too, but that would be a very good compliment for pies. They could also sell other stuff, but they would be also called a bakery too. Still it was nice to be here as a support local Maui businesses. If you're in the area and would love a slice of pie baked on Maui, consider coming here to here and indulge yourself. Think of me when you are buying that chocolate haupia pie. I'll be totally glad you did. Maui Pie is a small bake shop in the heart of Kihei, Maui. It's situated at the Azeka shopping mall. You can see it from Kihei Road on the right side if you're driving south toward Wailea. It's physically located at 1280 S Kihei Road. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as packing goes, your best bet is to have a rental car or have a private vehicle. Or have a friend pick you up and head on over to Maui Pie. If you don't have a car, or access to one, your second best option would be to take the Maui bus. From Queen Kaʻahumanu center to Kihei is probably one bus, but don't quote me on that. Consider checking the bus information to make sure you have the best possible way to get here. However, if you are on vacation and choose Uber or Lyft, that's probably the best way to do it too. No matter how you do it, you should come here and get your slice of pie when they bake it fresh every morning. It is definitely delicious and a welcome part of my stay in Maui. Definitely more welcome when you finish 13.1 miles the morning and you're just here at Maui pie to relax and bask in the afterglow of the event. Needless to say that it was a good time here. Although it was basically a fast food counter experience, it was way more than that, and I hope to come back sometime in the future for more pie. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

What a treat to get a delicious slice of Hawaii with their Liliko (passion fruit) cream pie. The filling had the right amount of passion fruit juice that wasn't artificially made. The cream lent an airy lightness that didn't leave you overwhelmed with heaviness. I also loved the pie shell with its flaky crust. Perfectly curated slices of heaven. Despite the pie being amazingly good, their customer service was very lackluster. We were barely greeted when no one else was in the shop. Not much conversation & the non-verbal que to just order & leave was the atmosphere of the day. Hopefully, service will improve, but I would definitely return to Maui Pie for future visits.

The staff is very friendly and patient. The menu is not too big where you can't decide what to get. If you are eating in they also have a water for you to enjoy. We tried 2 pies one was a Haupia which is a chocolate and coconut flan cake. Great for chocolate lovers as it is rich. The mango and strawberry one was great too. The fruits were bountiful but the mango was a little overpowered by the other flavors. It's a great dessert to try when in Maui.

It was an early April afternoon, and they still had a small selection of malasadas available. The malasadas were for us; however, I thought the banana breads would make great souvenirs to bring back home. Back at the resort, we froze most of them, and on the morning of our departure, I carefully packed them in my luggage and carry-on bag as precious cargo going home! We also tried their mango bread which was moist and fruity (no chunks of mango in it though) and the lime pie which was lovely! However, I think the big surprise for me was that the malasadas are smaller than I expected. The first time I had a malasada was at Leonard's in Oahu which are like...the size of your hand. These are more like golf ball sized. They were still excellent but I think that just caught me off guard. But we still enjoyed them!

I really like that I can select from the old world German Artisan collection and the Hawaiian Artisan baked goods. I snagged the Isabelle, a loaf of bread made of spelt (dinkel wheat, high in protein, fiber, and antioxidants) and rolled in an assortment of seeds. The texture is soft and the crust is slightly chewy. Just right and the taste is very satisfying. I can't bring myself to putting a slice into the toaster, though, because I don't want to risk losing any of the seeds. I'll be fine with the broiler and some butter. I also went for the Hawaiian Bread. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. It has pineapple, toasted coconut and tiny soft raisins. The bread is moist from the pineapple juice and the loaves are small. I could finish one off in a setting but I resisted the urge. Basically they cut the croissant in half, filled in the cream and put the top back. Odd. Better between the two. Might be too sweet for some. Prices are higher than other places. Instant good vibes, the whole line outside was just smiling and waiting patiently. Finally get seated and both the hostess and waitress were super nice--real friendly, no rush, no attitude. In the front they had mushroom soup on the specials board, so we figured we go sample um. I had them bring a cup of soup out to start along with my wife's coffee. Gotta be honest--when I dipped my spoon in, I was already judging. Looked kinda thin, not creamy like other mushroom soups I've had. I was thinking, "Ahh here we go." Took one spoonful and immediately had to humble myself. That soup was money. Like, stop-talking-and-just-eat. My wife tried it and confirmed that this soup was "winnahs" . Deep mushroom flavor with the right amount of seasoning. It also came with a little piece of focaccia toast which I would have really enjoyed but had to take my wife's word for it since she ate um all . Should've ordered the bowl. Rookie mistake. For my main, I went with the original eggs Benedict. Portions were a little on the small side, but with the roasted potatoes, I was good. Didn't leave hungry, didn't need to loosen the belt--perfect middle ground. My wife got the strawberry waffles and yeah... those were legit. She's not a syrup person, so she asked for more whipped cream. The waitress comes back with a little mountain of whipped cream in the little silver ramekin. All in all, solid spot. Friendly people, ono food, and little touches that make you feel taken care of. We will be heading to Cafe Kaila again to try some other stuff like the "chicken and waffles", and next time, I'm not playing around with the soup. Bowl, Garans.
