Goldenglow mango cut up in the front
Linda C.

We got a lot of fruit during our trip to Maui and the Goldenglow mangos from Yee's were one of the most memorable. They're shaped like a regular mango (which Google says may be a variety called Tommy Atkins, carried by most US grocery stores) but on the inside they're almost fiberless and super soft and sweet like an ataulfo mango. Idk anything about mango varieties but this one was really delicious and unique.

$43 for these

Only stop I made out of three that I purchased something. They had a good variety of exotic fruits. I ended up coming back with mangos, cherimoya and papaya. Forgot about the pineapple. lol It is a fruit stand. You may miss it. My husband didn't see it and thought it was empty but I told him it's open! There's someone there! lol

Hayden mangos $5.50/lb 8.17.24

Excellent quality. The same Yee's Orchard Hayden mangos sold here at $5.50/lb is $6.49/lb at Whole Foods as of 8/17/24. Think Hayden is the better buy. Goldenglow slightly less fibrous but both mangos bring tons of joy to consume. Grabbed the last sapodilla, amazing ripeness. Definitely my favorite fruit consumption during this trip.

Delicious Mouthwatering Hayden Mangoes. && They give Kama'aina discount with showing your local ID. Very Nice.

Scott selling fresh fish! Got Ahi tuna today, made poke. So ONO!

FRESH FRUITS, FRESH FISH There's usually really good mangoes for sale here. Pricey but mostly sweet, good quality. Fresh picked from Yee's garden! Also there's a fish truck on the side that sells fresh fish! Real fresh caught from Maui waters! Look for Scott or Nick or Paula! Mention kama'aina... you may get a good deal!

Just setting up!

My favorite place to buy fresh mangos! They have an orchard very close by and are picked fresh daily. We walk here and buy 6-8 mangos each time. They are always sweet and creamy. I love the Hayden's, Golden Glow and Kent.

Local fresh fruit in the Kihei part of Maui. Fruits are fresh and sweet. The mangoes are the juiciest fruits we have ever had. The pink guava was fragrant with a delicate sweetness. The passionfruit surprised us with its incredibly tart but fragrant taste, which I loved. The starfruit was refreshing and cleansed the palate. We enjoyed sampling various tropical fruits native to Hawaii. The prices are a little high for the mangoes at about 5.99 per pound but well worth it for the tasty experience. Cash only!

Mangoes are a gift from the foodie gods. It's my favorite fruit and I eat them green, ripe, with shoyu, with vinegar, with shrimp paste, with sweet sticky rice -- basically I eat them every which way. However, there is something absolutely special about Yee's Golden Glow mangoes that set them apart from the rest. Their mangoes are sweet, delicious, and simply a joy to eat. These mangoes have very little fiber, a small seed, and have really great flavor overall. It is on the pricey side compared to other varieties, but I have to say, they are worth every penny. You can find their mangoes at their fruit stand which is near their mango orchard and I've even seen them at Whole Foods sometimes. Their season generally runs from May to July, but I was able to enjoy a few as early as April. To help speed up the ripening process put them in a brown paper bag. We placed them in the fridge once they ripened beautifully and they were still good for over a week after and still tasted amazing! I would highly recommend Yee's Golden Glow mangoes for all the mango lovers out there. So yummy!

Decent selection of locally grown produce, but the prices didn't seem that different than the grocery stores. The service was friendly.

The golden glow mangoes were the best I've ever had and my kids were in heaven with the coconut and sugar cane.

In the back, you will find a food court with endless options, whether you grab what is already laid out or order fresh off the menu. I had the California roll twice, and the rice was so soft with a perfect rice-to-filling ratio, easily the best California roll I have ever had. I also tried the BBQ flatbread, which was pretty good. Ordering off the menu was also a great option. I got the fried rice and galbi, which came with sides and were all delicious. One thing my friend could not stop talking about was the poke, which was slightly on the spicier side but fresh, soft, and very tasty. This place has it all, and you really cannot go wrong. It might be a bit more on the expensive side depending on what you get, but it is pretty in line with the rest of Hawaii's pricing. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You can also grab groceries and snacks while you are there.

It was my first time visiting a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised with the farm fresh products and locally made goods. Some vendors have food available like chinese pretzels, Hawaiian chili pepper water, and fresh baked goods. Maui Ono Donuts is also posted up in the parking lot and dishing out their old fashioned cake donuts. I perused some of the vendors and ended up buying a handmade apron made from Hawaiian bark cloth as a gift. I also got some donuts for the road. There's a good variety here if you're in the Kihei area and want to support some local businesses.

There's live entertainment, arts and crafts, food, baked goods, and produce... locally made and grown items. I purchased some butter mochi from one of the vendors and we chatted with the business owners sharing with us some tips on places to visit. They mentioned how rare for this side (South Kihei) to get flash floods so the heavy rains that happened yesterday was just a freak incident. Oh, the butter mochi was delicious! We ate it the next day at the airport while waiting for our flight. We also purchased some produce. Everything from avocados, papaya, and mango to carrots, lime, and tomatoes were sold here. Hubby loves papaya and he was excited to find some here. Everyone's so friendly. We also enjoyed the local band... even gave us a shout out "visitors from California." If you happen to catch Maui Ono Donuts food truck there... make sure you try their donuts! Ko Mahiai Makeke means farmers market in Hawaiian. Review #2724
